The service was very good, could not ask for better service. Danny assisted me, and taught me a valuable lesson on going wireless for my gaming computer system (not a gamer). I ended up purchasing a more expensive but better quality computer mouse, which in actuality the cost was just a few dollars more. However the value of the device will last much longer, than what I originally chose. Could not have gotten the great service if it was not for Danny. It's not as clean as you would imagine when you recall when Staples first rolled out back in the day where the floors are spotless and the aisles are clear but the limited staff do the best they can here. Conveniently located and equipped with a parking lot, you can get a lot done with a trip to this branch. The employees try constantly to keep their shop litter free but since they do Amazon returns, it's understandable that a lot of garbage floats around and lands onto the ground. When I have "Staples" reached today in the morning at 10:20. It is a partly sad sky for this day!! The entrance is not, when you get to the corner of the store, but rather, when you Turn to the right (coming along Coney Island from Avenue N), thus where the entrance and exit are permitted, indeed. I like the notebooks, that they have, and I purchased three today; for the service I needed to recycle a few cartridges of mine, and I did at the cashier's, then having purchased another box of black ink for $51.99, mine is XL 62 for 5660 HP. In the third photo, you see me, holding the box with my cartridges; eventually, I have all taped tightly. He, only, asked, how many I have had today, as well as the question regarding account, but this all is for the good, and therefore for free, in the name of Earth. It is, simply, fundamentally, and solely upon a personal wish to recycle the cartridges at the locations of "Staples", so called Good Will. Also, I like the journals and notebooks at "Century 21", and when some location of it was not permanently closed at Bay Ridge, I loved seeing them, just like I do, when wandering around at this "Staples" store. Whatever they don't have in-store or online -- I order, as a matter of fact, from such the sellers, as "Ali Express", "Ebay", or "Amazon, I mean -- "Staples". Incompetent and lazy employees. I tried to return a stylus I purchased three weeks ago which broke. A cashier told me that a stylus is an electronic so the return period is only 14 days. I've come here at least 20 times over the past 5 years.... And so this review has been long in the making. For every time I left staples frustrated. A few times even infuriated at the service. And every time I vowed I'd never come back. I'd say that would be 16 out of 20 times. This staples branch needs to wake up.. They are way past due for some major updates... On Service, Workers, Prices, Products, and Layout. Strictly from my observations over the past 5 years, the determination of the people who work here, it seems, is to maintain this garbage place. I've been here quite a few times and have been super unimpressed. I went today to mail out a UPS package. It already had a label so it just needed to be scanned and dropped off. I don't normally go to this location so I wasn't sure where to drop it off. I entered the store and saw there was a cashier ringing up a customer and a frat boy wannabe, who I assumed was the manager as he was wearing s black shirt, sort of looking on. At first I assumed he was maybe helping out the cashier, no, he was just hanging out. Frat boy manager made eye contact with me, smiled and wandered away to play on the keyboards on display. Yes, you read that right, I watched he go over to the key board display and pretend to type on them. I wasn't sure if I should disturb him as he seemed super involved in fake typing but I needed to know where to drop my package off at. So I walked over and he was nice enough to direct me, "it's in the front near the printing sign..." Thanks? At the printing sign I saw the UPS sign and as I'm heading over, a guy who was actually busy, running around, looking annoyed said, "be with you in a minute." He's probably pissed because his manager's typing lessons are taking up time during the business day. Two points for him though because he got me out of staples within seconds. I guess this is better than the last time I went in search of a paper cutter. The guy who aisle it was, who was stocking the shelves said he didn't think they had any more paper cutters. Then I asked him what the item above his head was... Imagine that, it was a paper cutter! Two different kinds! I only come to this location when I really need something right then and there. I have always found people helpful and back to school prices quite affordable at this Staples. The store often gets some pretty demanding (obnoxious and pushy) customers but they seem to handle them quite professionally. Yesterday a very helpful employee (who goes to LaGuardia College) waited on me. She was nice but when I got home I realized that on my receipt she had charged me for trimming two laminations when I had only one done. It was only about a $1 overcharge, but when I went back this morning the department supervisor (Evelyn I think her name was) immediately refunded the overcharge to my credit card. I recently went out to this Staples yesterday and was actually pleasantly surprised. It could be that I was there super early when the opened that the service was pretty good. I have a penchant for turning in my used ink cartridges and buying toilet paper. Really? $5 for 4 rolls - Duane Reade! That doesn't sound right. In this day & age, to wipe your ass is expensive. Anyone have any good leaf suggestions that don't make you rash?! I digress. At any rate, I found that this is a pretty full size Staples. The service was pretty great. The guy was friendly and helpful. We had a pretty interesting diatribe. I love that this location is fairly close to Brooklyn College. I probably will be there quite a bit this Fall. My issue with Staples is that I keep going to the city to get the T.P. and just about every single Staples there is a Copy Center, which doesn't care T.P. : (( So, I figured let me give Brooklyn a go, since it is where I live after all. Just figure that sometimes the city is better for what you need, but why make the two hour trip if you don't need to, eh? So really that was my mindset going into this Staples! Whoopee! It's huge. Not only a copy center & hot damn! They have toilet paper! So I didn't print out my ink catridges coupon. Drat! Thought the info was on my Staples Rewards card, so I could save the paper. But! The Toilet Paper was $5.50! Now mind you, this is the 13 rolls of Charmin. Not 4 rolls, so hell ya! I am still waiting to find out if somehow the guy made a mistake. It's odd cause the signs everywhere said the T.P was $8. Dunno what that was about, but that beats Duane Read any old day! So I am headed back there today to use my ink cartridge coupons, which expire today & stock up on Family Packs of T.P. No worries when the Rapture or Blizzards show up. I am good till 2012 now. Not a pleasant experience. Called in order to find out if they have a product that I need it to buy, since online there was no information about it. The first called I was put on hold for over 15 minutes. After someone hang up on me I called back and instead of being help the 2nd lady is worst than the first one, she asked me 5 times to repeat the product to her and instead of helping me she laughs and acts like if she can not hear me. I been in the store many times and they seemed to be sleeping rather than working. Is not crowded but it seems they do not want to be there to work, they should stay at home instead. read more

Came to pick it up and not only was it not assembled but the Staples employee was rude and denied that assembly had been ordered. When presented with the original receipt they finally admitted it but said the person who does assembly had "gone on break". Then I tried to buy this chair in a store on Ocean Avenue, but they didn't find it there. although it is as an exhibit. after that I tried to buy this chair in another store. but despite the fact that this product is available in the amount of 3 pieces, they did not sell it to me. (shop on avenue O). this chair is simply not found. in the end, I didn't buy anything. It is impossible not to get lost in this big store or find what you are desperately looking for. On numerous occasions I have come here and been helped by the staff that were helpful and professional. The most recent interaction I needed specific markers for my wedding table cards and this girl spent 10 minutes trying to help me find the perfect marker. I actually wanted to try something that was in a package and she realized she had one by a register that was the same. I was able to test the product and was happy to make the purchase. It's sad to see many low reviews but I guess everyone's experience will vary or management has been reading these horrible reviews. read more
