I told the owner that my surgeon needs to be part of care coordination and that i need to pause the next session to get his feedback. The owner was having none of it and demanded that i continue regardless. He fired me via text that day and texted once again that evening, telling me to never return. Understand there were no harsh words and i found his unwillingness to coordinate care disturbing. Concerns were valid since my surgeon prohibited stretch table therapy around the surgery date and weeks thereafter. I had a 3rd laminectomy, 5wks in a walker, 2wks in a cane, subsequent physical therapy elsewhere. Surgeon says it takes a full year to heal my motor nerve damage. Consider all aspects of physical therapy including a firm's willingness to work with multiple healthcare providers. I cannot recommend this firm if you are working with more than 1.

I was recommend by my orthopedic doctor to come here and see Marek for physical therapy. I am so glad i came here. I originally came to get enough pt so I could get an mri but Marek's care and thorough workouts helped alleviate my shoulder pain. I no longer experience numbness and the nerve pain in my neck which was connected to my shoulder practically disappeared. I have been to four other doctors and chiropractors before this establishment and none have been able to help me until now. I am extremely grateful and if I ever injure myself again (hopefully not) I definitely know where I'll go !

Please read that attached review before finishing this review. When I asked the other front staff where my friend was, they tried to lie to me! Renee told me that she was not fired but instead that she chose to not work there. I am a white male so I am not surprised that my personal experience as a physical therapy patient was better than others' experiences here. Additionally, I believe that creating a hostile environment for a pregnant woman is directly contradictory to the role of physical therapists. I sincerely hope, for the health of future patients and workers, that this office addresses its deep rooted issues. The front staff at McDonald's Physical Therapy is discriminatory and dishonest. And they aren't even the people doing the real therapy work! How petty.

I started PT with a bone spur in my foot and worked with a therapist but the exercises I was doing…read morecould easily be done at home. I used a dishtowel, a poster they took off the wall, etc. but needed to have my range of motion measured, so no biggie. My normal therapist was out one evening so I had another and he pushed the top of my foot back and we felt a pop. He kept saying, "you don't have a bone spur, you have a cyst." I told him that I saw the x-ray with my doctor and it was a bone spur. As the night past, he kept mentioning the swelling and swore it was a cyst. It didn't really hurt at first but had discomfort by the time I left. The next day I went to my podiatrist and got another x-ray and the spur had broken off and cut my Achilles tendon requiring surgery. I never returned to ACI. Fast forward a year later. I get a text message that I have been turned over to collections for non-payment of $254. I thought it was a scam but contacted ACI to confirm. The female said that I did owe and it had in fact been turned over to collections. I asked why I had never been contacted and she said that they had mailed a letter each month for 5 months. I know this to be a lie because I confirmed my address, I get daily USPS emails about what mail I am receiving and there are only myself and my husband in our household and at no time did a letter ever arrive. Needless to say, I immediately called the collections agency and paid my bill, which I would have done a year ago, had they told me that I had a balance! However, the female at ACI could not tell me what I actually owed for, since my insurance was paying as well as me also paying my co-pay through the ATI portal. I just didn't want damage to my credit score but I will be digging further into this issue!!!!
