Rush my passport is a scam, do not use!!! I was stupid enough to think that because they were referred via clear that it would be a reputable company. The company can not do their job, then won't answer customer service emails or phone calls. It's very expensive for an app that does basically nothing. Don't use this for child passports. I submitted two orders for Rush My Passport. For myself and my daughter. Based on their advertisement. I thought 3 weeks would work. I completed the forms and shipped my order for a passport renewal via FedEx. For a child's passport, you need to get an appointment at a passport agent's office. What Rush My Passport does not tell you is that it takes a long time to get an appointment at the passport agent's office, at least in Miami. So I purchased a new package online that would be quicker time to get a passport once I found that out. However, it requires you to talk to someone, which is fine, only it is very hard to actually get someone on the line. Wait times can be 40 mins or longer, and you have no idea how long you have to wait. When I got the option to have someone call me back, I did not get a callback. So, by the time I had my appointment at the passport agent's office, I went ahead and submitted my child's passport without being able to talk to anyone or hear back from them. When I finally got through they pretty much told me they could not help me nor would they refund the money. I feel like it was a bit of a set up. They advertise they could get you a passport in 3 weeks and don't tell you it can take a week and a half to get an appointment at passport agency. Then when you try to get a faster time. You have to call them but can't get through and no one returns your call. And then when you finally get through sorry no refund and we cannot help you. This is not a business that cares about you, doesn't have your back, and if you have to get a child passport or need to go to a passport agent for any reason, you really should not use them. read more

If I could give 1 star I would . To start , was never informed properly of several things . I paid in full the price for the expedited service which is roughly $500 . They did not inform me I needed to be within a 14 day travel time frame to see the post office for the appointment. So I archive on the 22nd to see someone after paying on the 21st . That was when I was told not only did I have to apply on the 28th to be inside my window but I needed a 2nd form of ID because I was applying outside of my state . So flash forward to the 28th I do my appointment pretty much send off everything except a sample of my blood to verify I am who I am . I receive one txt notification that it was shipped and that's is. I call (3 times) to get an answer they say it's turned into the government we can't track it now . Ok that's valid how do I get ahold of them ? Well you go to the website and you know what thank god the man I spoke to was helpful because I couldn't get onto the website I called them . They proceed to tell my my documents (which I was told were hand delivered on the 29th) just got to them today the 31st and that even being expedited without a letter or message from them will take upwards of 3 weeks. They send the letter and tell me call back Monday if I hear nothing back from them . MEANWHILE THIS FRAUDULENT SERVICE tells me I'll have it by the 4th. At this point I'm LIVID call again asking them what they will do to resolve this and ask why this wasn't told to me that I needed to do more after submitting. The IDIOTIC person I spoke to disconnected my call . You people are despicable for this . I hope I really hope enough people report you to have this company completely disbanded. You have no customer service , you lie , and overall what your telling people can happen is blatantly wrong and by strokes of luck you get some people some of the services they pay for . I will be reporting this to the bbb and I already emailed my lawyer to see what can be done based off your terms and conditions. You people are horrible. Your employees barring 2 that I talked to of the 15 in this process are not helpful and don't give you correct information. If I've learned anything from this it's companies like this make me sick . Even if I can't sue I hope people read this review and go somewhere else . I hope no one else gets scammed and lied to by your services. read more

Basically a scam. As others have said, all this company does is accept a large fee and provide a prepaid shipping label (in my case, to ship the parcel to Florida before being sent on to the state department). It does not appear that they have access to any form of expedite that's different than you'd get if you printed out the single form needed and visited your local FedEx to get a photo and ship the packet yourself. Their tracking system has completely broken down for my order, and it is quite impossible to reach customer support through email, online chat, or phone (I suspect all of these are just an empty front). The only saving grace is that the state department cashed my check (two weeks after I started the process), so at least it appears to have reached the destination. Whether I will get my new passport in time for my trip is another matter... I'm utterly baffled by the good reviews here an elsewhere, they were the reason I was mislead. Update: I provided my order number to the owner as they requested, but this resulted in no further action or help on their part. read more

Worst passport experience ever. Paid for 5 week expedited shipping and was given an exact arrival date. After it being late for a week I try calling them and I only get an answering service that takes messages and that I should expect a callback. After 8 days and over 100 calls, I only got 1 return phone call. Just to finally receive a call back saying even though I paid for expedited shipping they can no longer honor it and I'm out of luck. When I asked why I was not informed sooner. They simply told me they don't have time to inform everyone. So now I have to cancel a trip that I can't get refunded due to this TERRIBLE company. However, I highly suggest having all your documents ready before you place your order with Rush My Passport because if not, you will waste time getting everything together and the service you purchased may not suffice after shipping the docs out. Have these in hand before purchasing with them: -Passport Photos -DS-11 Passport Application - Original or certified copy of birth certificate -Valid ID greater than 6 months old -Travel Itinerary -$170 or $200 additional government fees that are NOT included in the payment to Rush My Passport You then have to talk to a Rush My Passport rep and then make an appointment with a Passport Acceptance Agency. I was skeptical to use an online service to get my sons passport rushed, but was left with no other option as the closest expediting agency had temporarily closed down and we were less than 2 weeks away from our trip. After reading many reviews (many positive, but some negative), I have to say I am beyond thrilled with this company! Any negative reviews that had to do with not getting money returned, the agent clearly stated that certain circumstances could mean the loss of payment, so I'd assume these people had met these circumstances. I was updated every step of the way, and had a more than pleasant experience with each agent I spoke with. They provide you with what seems like an overwhelming checklist to submit, but if all directions are followed, the process can be seamless. I submitted everything required for my 20 month old son, and received his passport a day Earlier than promised, with 4 days to spare until our trip!! RushMyPassport.com is a complete waste of time and money. Their service actually adds time to the process since they act as an intermediary between the State department and the applicant. After you enter your data on their website, they provide you with the same form you could have gotten directly from the State department. You then send the forms and supporting documents to RushMyPassport who then forwards it to the State department. As you can see, that adds time, it doesn't rush anything. Their website process leads you to believe they're sending the data to the passport services in real time, but that's not true. They also ask you for your ravel date that implies they can get you a passport by that date if the submission is accepted. Again, not true at all. We had to contact the State Department ourselves since RushMyPassport never got us the passport in time. Do yourself a favor, deal directly with the State department passport services and save yourself hundreds of dollars. read more

As most people with extremely limited time to obtain a passport, I contacted RushMyPassport.Com based on their length of time in business and presumed experience in the field. I submitted all the documents listed in the checklist they provide in order to process the application to renew a passport. I paid them a total sum of $493.00 to engage their services and renew my mother's passport, as she had to travel on an emergency basis to keep a relative on his deathbed company. Clearly, I would not have tendered this rather large sum so trustingly unless I had been repeatedly assured by their Customer Service Reps that, upon timely submission of all the items on the checklist that they provided, I would be able to have my mother's passport no later than Saturday as my mother is traveling on Sunday. All the required documents were submitted timely trusting that, based on their length of time in business and the fact that renewing a passport is such an ordinary task, particularly for them given the experience that they represent to have, there would be no delays. Today, Friday, the last business day before travel, I was sent an email, very late in the day, advising me that the State Dept. would require additional documents before processing the application, not provided for on their checklist and further stating that I would not be able to obtain my mother's passport on or before the day of travel. As a result, she has had to cancel her trip, miss her last chance to see a very close relative on his deathbed, lose the money that she spent on her airfare, and, according to Mr. Altman who represented himself as the owner/supervisor lose the $493.00 paid to them in order to provide a service which the company's CSRs eagerly assured me that they could. Mr. Altman further stated that I am not entitled to any refunds, as he has 'the last word on the matter'. Mr. Altman repeatedly emphasized that the business relationship into which I entered with Expedited Travel, can be best described as, and I am paraphrasing, 'buyer beware' and that I should have known better than to expect what the company's CSRs promised over the phone from the outset. These truly are the worst sort of people, not because of the unforeseen delays that dealing with any bureaucracy entails but because of the either ignorant or malicious misrepresentation on the part of their CSRs as to what could be accomplished, and mostly because of Mr. Altman's, who should actually know better, lack of empathy, customer service skills, and even common decency when dealing with a client in such difficult circumstances. Avoid this company at all cost. They offer no online forms, and along with their fee, you still need to pay for government fees. Basically, you are paying $300+ for someone in their office to send a package that you put together and mail to them, to then Fed Ex to the passport department. Something you can do on your own. After they take your money and you realize this fact, they refuse to give you a refund. When I submitted for my refund I was told there was a wait of 15-18 working days for processing. That time came and went with no results, and I'm still out my money. I paid $300+ for nothing. Do not do business with this company. read more

This company has some seriously terrible customer service. The service rep seemed that she had been getting bad calls all day long and was just utterly rude when dealing with me. I understand dealing with a frustrated customer is not fun but at the same time the problem still has to be resolved because the deal was made with your company when i agreed to pay the fees. Its been 5 weeks since i placed my order and i was told by your service rep bcuz the limit is six weeks i still have to wait. However, I did include my day of travel which is in two days. But with the rudeness over the phone then being abruptly cut off when i asked to get email confirmations, i am very annoyed. Not only do i have to pay to change my flight date, but now im not sure when i can change it to because i was given such vague information. This is the most unhelpful agency I ever had in my life. First of all there is no service provided. My boyfriend and I are about to go vacation on my country Philippines. In desperation to have my boyfriend passport immediately we look for some agency who can help us to get the passport as soon as possible and we ended up going to the site rushmypassport.com. So along the process they give us some directions which we don't know that's it's already all procedure to get the passport.
