Like many other Handy-person companies have begun doing in the last five years or so, they impose a minimum time limit to ensure a minimum service fee. I required several basic repairs around my residence, which necessitated the use of a ladder, screws, and a screw anchor. One repair was time-sensitive, and the company initially offered immediate repairs but suggested returning a few weeks later due to them being booked up. This approach was reasonable and appreciated. However, after further communication with the company, I discovered for the time sensitive repair, they required a $250 deposit prior to any work starting, and would charge their minimum two-hour fee of $300. The job involved simply reattaching one side of an outdoor sun shade, resulting in an estimated total of $820.85 for all of the repairs. As a homeowner I've had several estimates and repairs completed by Handy-person services over the last few decades, but this one has to be the most unreasonable. In contrast, I contacted another Handy-person service company today that arrived at my residence within 30 minutes of my initial contact.They provided an on-site estimate and completed all the necessary repairs in a single hour. The total cost was $110.50, which included tax. This experience met my expectations. The service was reasonably priced, and the handyman was professional and skilled. I now have established a go-to handyman who I can build a lengthy business relationship, year after year. It is unacceptable to ask customers to pay for labor before the work is completed. Materials may be charged, but labor should not be. So glad I found this new Handyman service company. I will definitely be leaving a positive review for them.

I reached out to North Seattle Handyman and they had me scheduled in a week with a solid crew. Getting the bids and estimates sent over were really easy and they were awesome in finding a way to stay in my budget. When the day of came I got a phone call explaining some concerns that they had about the job and they offered multiple solutions. They were a little bit more expensive than some of the other companies I reached out to, but they differentiated themselves with their professionalism, prompt communication, and incredible quality of service. I needed my 80 year old basement garage floor epoxied. I had a bunch of companies provide quotes…read more Some actually provided quotes without even coming out and inspecting my garage. I didn't trust these quotes at all since I knew my old garage floor was not in great shape. Obed showed great knowledge with epoxying floors. He pointed out a bunch of cracks and pits that would need to be opened up and filled. My garage also had something strange where someone had extended the footing with additional concrete. This caused extra concrete ledges around my entire footing. Obed said he could address all of it. I also needed trim installed and he said he could do that as well. Even with the trim install, his quote came out competitive with the other quotes. Obed did an amazing job with the garage floor epoxy and the trim work. I was very impressed with the end result. I know he went above and beyond to take additional time to fix issues so that the end result would be good. For example, we agreed to have one small part of the extra concrete ground down so the floor would be flat. As they were prepping the other extra concrete for epoxy, the concrete actually started cracking and falling off. Without charging me extra, they also removed this extra concrete so the end result was an entirely flat floor without any additional concrete ledges. After grinding the floor, Obed realized that it would best to level the floor. Again, without an additional charge, he leveled the floor. He also filled in a bunch of concrete holes and voids on the concrete step by the door leading into the house. When installing the trim, they took the time to specially contour the bottom of the trim to match the many dips in my old garage floor. While leveling did help with the dips, my garage floor just had some extreme dips. In the end, I was beyond happy with the end result. I originally hired him to epoxy my floor, but he ended up fixing so many different things and made the entire garage better because of it.

First thing first - my kitchen looks great, even better than I could have expected. The new floors, counter tops, cabinets and lights are all beautiful! I found the guys at Centerline to be great in the communication department. JB quickly responded to all my texts and emails and did everything he could to remedy the minor issues and items we requested towards the end. All in a very timely manner. They were even happy to make some mid-project modifications that I requested. I agree to do your research, get quotes and ask lots of questions. But these guys were wonderful to work with and they made the process so easy on us. From bringing samples to our house (so we didn't have to drive somewhere and pick them out ourselves) to painting suggestions. I also appreciated how clean they kept everything during the process. Would definitely use them again and not hesitate to recommend to family and friends!

They stick to their estimated time frame, and while the final cost was a little more than what was quoted, it's because I changed up a few things mid construction, and they were happy to accommodate. I highly recommend them, I'll be bringing them out later this year for a bathroom remodel.
