This is the best place to take your car for service! They're honest and caring! They only fix what needs to be fixed....no extra charges for things that don't need to be done. Well after seeing all the good reviews I thought I found an honest place the first time I came to Russell's I had breaks , oil change and an ignition fixed , a few months later my ignition started sticking again so I went back I was told it now needed a lock cylinder and that would be 380 and maybe the starter was bad too , I got a second opinion and my car didn't need any of that , I was so disappointed I'll never go back there again !!! read more

We've been here twice since receiving a tip from a family member. Creative troubleshooting identified the first issue as a faulty sparkplug, and the second issue to a motor mount needing to be tightened down. Recently I took my car to Russell's with a sound in the engine I could not identify. They called me the next day with an estimate to make the repairs. It turned out that it was a part that had failed from a repaired done by a different repair shop. We agreed I should take it back to that shop who said they would guarantee their work. My issue came when I ask what I owed. I was fully prepared to compensate Russell Auto for their time. It turned out the charge for the ID of my car's issue was more that the labor to do the entire repair. This is unfair and my second less than satisfactory experience with Russell Auto, I would not recommend them. read more

I thought these guys needed a more recent review. I've brought my Toyota Sienna here several times over the last couple years. They're always responsive, helpful and more importantly honest! They've fixed everything I needed for a great price and don't try to get me to fix other things that's aren't really needed. They'll tell me something might be coming up, or give me tips on what to look for, exactly the kind of service I want especially when I'm trying to get some more miles out of my 200,000+ mile minivan! I've had a couple drive through oil change places tell me they couldn't change the oil because something was dented and I needed a whole new exhaust system, well, I bring it here and the oil is changed just fine every time. This is my go to mechanic and I'm thankful I've found an honest & good one! read more

An auto repair place with a heart! We have been to several auto repair places in the area before finding Russell's. This is a total no frills place. No Keurig K-cup coffee maker, no TV, barely any lobby with a two-seater couch....none of that. And none of it matters to me because their vibe is one of total honesty. They care about the work they do and the customers they serve. We have had quite a bit of work done on our cars, which are both old, but thanks to Russell's, still running! Today I bought a new head lamp at an auto parts store, but after looking inside the hood, they said it was too complicated for them to put in. I took it to Russell's and they had it installed in less than five minutes and didn't charge me a cent. I love this place!! read more

Ok, I know you have all heard about the lone female with a car problem who has a car mishap and goes to the local auto service place...right? Yes, that would be me, as I had an issue where my car suddenly shut off on me while driving, and it could have turned real serious pretty fast, so I was in need of an auto mechanic immediately to figure out what was going on with my car. I pulled into a local service shop (Russell Auto Service) close to my house, never having been there before, nor having called to ask them if I could stop by. They not only responded by popping open my hood and looking at what could be the issue, but took me right in and got to working right on it. They were friendly, and more than fair in what they charged me. Best of all they found the problem and fixed it right away. I will not only go back there for all mechanical work needing to be done, but will send everyone i can tell to go there. The good, honest, friendly business people still live! read more
