Took my vehicle to them due to a blinking check engine light and my vehicle having trouble accelerating. Their initial diagnosis cost $1,100 and still didn't fix the problem. When they called me with this information, they stated the true fix would cost over $8,000. I took my vehicle to another auto shop and their diagnosis stated nothing about the "true fix" Roadmasters said it would take to get my vehicle running again. After paying a FRACTION of what Roadmasters said it would cost, the other shop fixed it and a week later it is running just fine. I am not sure if Roadmasters waas trying to take advantage of me being a woman, or if they just flat out completely misdiagnosed the problem, but I will not be taking my vehicle back to this location. read more

I have taken my vehicle in 3 times to get the heater fixed. I have been told that they can't get the part because it is backordered obsolete. I learned that they can buy the entire heating system and for some reason I can't get them to either order it or refund my money. Colorado law states that the repair shop has to refund parts and labor if they don't fix the vehicle by the third attempt. I also learned that Lafayette chose to only repair a component of the heater whereas Broomfield quoted me for the whole system. Obviously Broomfield knew what needed to be done over Lafayette. I went to Lafayette because Broomfield told me they purged me from their system! I knew they were lying because I called Lafayette immediately thereafter and I showed up! I was happy that I saved so money but I have saved nothing since they have had my vehicle for close to two months now and my license plates were stolen as well! I thought Roadmasters cared about their customers. It doesn't seem so since I am now in upper management waiting to get an answer to fixing my vehicle or returning my money. That appears to be a far cry from "we care about our customers" and "guarantee" their work. Can't prove it by me right now. I get that we can't get parts but you don't misrepresent to your customers. You look for ALL alternatives or your refund their money. Real easy to figure out. I have been a good customer for years but this is total BS that my vehicle is not safe in their parking lot because they don't repair their lights let alone the huge potholes in their lot! A few weeks ago we took our F-150 pickup to Roadmasters in Lafayette for routine maintenance. A mistake was made in performing this service resulting in a catastrophic failure in a major system. And now here is the rest of the story. We had an independent evaluation of the damage performed by another shop and then took the results of that evaluation and the original Roadmasters work order back to Roadmasters and asked them how the issue could be resolved. The owner immediately took responsibility, stating that he stands behind his work. He made the necessary repairs at no cost to us and also covered extra costs that we incurred as a result of the situation. This was first class service. In the future we intend to give Roadmasters our business and will encourage family and friends to do the same. read more

I went in for a new set of tires. Picked my car up, noticed left rear tire looked just a little low so I mentioned it to the service guy. His response was no, I aired it up fully, it's fine. Needless to say, by 4:00 that day the light was on and the tires was almost completely flat. I took it back which was such a hassle! I missed an appointment which cost me $60.00 and waited about 40 minutes while they fixed what turned out to be the valve, so they replaced it. It just pissed me off that they showed no appreciation for the fact that they wasted my time and it was clearly their fault. The valve was fine when I went in that morning. Okay, fast forward 3 weeks, I get a razor blade in my tire, can't be fixed. I have to buy yet another new tire. Not their fault but maybe they could have cut me even a little bit of a deal??? Nope. I don't know. It just felt like bad business. I went out of my way to shop local. Next time it's the big box store for me. It would have been cheaper and less time consuming. Small shops complain all the time about the big stores but ya know what... if you want to compete try some authentic appreciation and check your customer services skills. read more

I only know enough about cars to know when something is wrong, and I can kind of hold my own in a conversation. Because of that I'm always nervous taking my car somewhere new. Road masters was suggested when I moved to Lafayette and they haven't disappointed me. Tim is so kind, and all of the employees treat all their customers so well. Oh and when the do the full point inspection, they email you the diagnosed WITH PICTURES! sometimes that is very helpful. They've added to my limited knowledge and added years on the life of my Subaru. Go here, you'll wonder why you ever went anywhere else! read more

While they were too busy to get me in, Steven offered to top off my oil and made an appointment for a few days later. Great customer service and nice guys. We scheduled an appointment for a seasonal tire change; snow tires put on in November. I joked with my wife that they would be expensive. And guess what 105.23 dollars. Wow! Something about oversized tire price on 18 inch width tire. Guess we will be sticking with Costco 40-50 bucks next time. read more

Good clean shop.Had my rotors and brake pads replaced,was given options on what could be done,standard pads/premium pads etc.Kris communicated well and I believe I was given a fair price.Convenient hours and walking distance to my home is a bonus.As my truck gets older it's nice to have an honest reliable shop nearby :) read more

I have to shout out to the BEST customer service I have ever received. My tire blew out about 5 blocks away from the store in Lafayette. not only did I get a drive to my car with an air pump in hopes to bring it back for a fix - but when he found out it blew he actually took the time to change it to my spare tire. Also given it was a Monday one day before the 4th of July and they were so super busy I Did not expect a phone call on if they were able to fix it till after the holiday 2 hours later they were able to fix it and that I could come back in for them to trade it out.
