It is a factory that makes chocolate in the back, but in the front there is a storefront that has a huge selection of chocolate treats in the front. There is an ice cream bar with bluebell ice cream that you can get made into a milkshake or have scoops of ice cream. They also have a specialty chocolate section that it has handmade treats that are a little more elevated than the ones in the box. In the back of the store they have a discount section so don't miss it! The service was truly amazing! We spilled a milkshake and the Employee was the sweetest about me not even helping her. She wanted me to enjoy my day and continue on. We still helped but just the thought of her saying you come first in the year 2026 lol. We tried several boxes of chocolate but mainly focused on turtles; which are milk chocolate, caramel, and pecan treats. I purchased one that was handmade in the front - which was divine! I purchased a box of Christmas turtles that were on discount - Amazing! And I got a pecan caramel apple. The apple was OK the inside apple had a strange texture and flavor. I'm not sure if they boil the apples or what process before coating them, but it changed the Apple itself but the caramel and pecans were delectable! So we saw this on the side of the road and the car just happened to turn into the parking lot. It was just beyond my control! The place is not just the store but the actual factory where they make the chocolate. They had so many things to pick from and at great prices! For the people who only like certain ones in the box, they had bins to pick out the individual pieces. I also saw boxes of Whitmans and was surprised, I did not know that they were "Russell Stover". This is a MUST STOP if you even just like chocolate, not love it, but are around Corsicana. They have carmel apples, every form of chocolate and you always get a sample when you walk in the door! And if you walk past they give great customer service and make sure you get one. :) I always head straight to the back for the discount room for past holiday and blooper boxes. They keep it super cool so the chocolate doesn't melt, so bring a sweater if you get cold easily. Great area to go grab a 'sample' of candies you're interested in if you don't mind eating Valentine's candy in August. But don't worry, they also have new retail area if you want a gift of chocolate. Either my husband or I are stopping in there almost every other month and haven't gotten a bad piece of chocolate yet. Well until a road trip I had no idea this existed. Solid 4-5 stars for size and general selection because if I'm honest this store can be a little overwhelming size wise. It is a store front next to or possibly attached to their warehouse. The store is huge, but honestly there is a lot of repeated items. For example there was a lot of these single item things listed at .58 cents each in 3 parts of the store, the difference being the seasonal wrapping Prices seem reasonable, a few things I feel like I could get cheaper from my grocery store if they are running a deal but here always has the deal. Where I started really actually getting anxious was trying to shop from the counter. Right when we walked up we had someone very loud/bluntly ask if we wanted something from the case. I responded we needed a minute to look and decide. We looked and took the added pictures to help remind ourselves what we wanted. Then we stood there awhile, there was 2 employees behind the counter just talking that should have noticed us and been the ones to help but didn't. Suddenly the employee who first asked us was stocking something at the caramel apple stand said really loudly "Are y'all ready?" and a few minutes later "Do you know what you want?" I wasn't for sure if she was talking to us because she was bending down adjusting the Caramel apples and moving around that so I couldn't tell if there was someone else she was talking too. My bad to that end but honesty mistake when they had two people at the counter not doing anything. So here comes my mistake that caused a snow ball effect ... I set down the candy bar my 7 year old and 3 .58 cent items in my hand. I had decided to only get my 7 year olds candy bar and the display items not the .58 cent items, and call my husband to the front to check out for me so I could go ahead and get in the car, and I text him what I want from the case and to not get the .58 cent items. He comes out with only the things that I had said not to get and the candy bar. Some sort of break down of communication had happened. At that point I just end up taking the things in for a refund and to try to get what I genuinely wanted but forget the receipt cause its in my husbands wallet. At that point one of the employees who had been ignoring us got annoyed at me because I didn't bring in the receipt. I explain what happened when I was waiting at the counter earlier to get help and the only person asking if I needed help looked like they were busy stocking stuff so my husband came in to get all the stuff for me and they only checked out this stuff & didn't help with the counter items so he had just left which is why I came back in to get and exchange these items out for, which the person stocking overhears. I leave my items on the counter and go get the receipt and when I come back in the employee who had been loud had gone ahead and voided the transaction anyway, and they handed my my refund receipt before I can offer up the receipt and I can tell that there was a conversation had about what happened. They finally offer to help with what I wanted from the case but at that point I was on the verge of tears because of the stress of my day and that exchange ending up being a tipping point, so I said I didn't want anything anymore and left... my husband being frustrated with the exchange didn't offer to go back in cause based off the first 2 out of three interactions he had the mentality that they didn't want our business. Personal note: At that point we had been in the car 6+ hours having gone to Galveston early in the morning and we were on our way back to Ft Worth, had woken up with news of an unexpected death that day and the chocolate shop I had planned to go in Galveston was blocked off due to an event so this had been my back up attempt at getting some chocolates to have a frustrating experience. So, that is why during that last exchange I was holding back tears due to it kind of being an unknowingly on that part a kind of kicked when down exchange. After that experience I kind of doubt I'll be back. At the very least if we do go back I know to express explicitly to my husband at the start what I want from the display case and have him get that while I take the kids to explore the store and buy those things separately. read more

The chocolate factory has an outlet store that has one of the most amazing selections of chocolates that I have ever seen. In addition to chocolates they have ice cream and candied apples too! Diabetic? They got you covered with an entire aisle of sugar-free chocolates in almost every confectioned flavor they offer. We stopped at Russell Stover on our way back from Dallas to Houston and I'm glad we did. I, definitely, recommend anyone to visit this storefront! Wow! I'm big on customer service. They are selling expired candy in the store here. Stopped of 45 to get something. The chocolate we ended up buying was expired. And the taffy we bought once we opened the bag was melted together. We stopped here on a whim whilst driving back to Houston from the Texas State Fair in Dallas. Needed gas and then saw the chocolate factory sign and had to stop! It was so amazing that we forget it get the gas and had to stop again a few exits later lol. They had all their Halloween stuff out as well as Christmas! So many interesting flavors. We've stopped here a NUMBER of times in the past, and we always get way too much. This time the excuses were, Easter is coming and our granddaughter needs an Easter basket. Definitely a chocolate lover's paradise, my husband was pretty excited when we saw the signs for the outlet store. It's a little back from the highway, so you have to keep your eye on the big Russell Stover sign and drive towards it. The store is connected to the front of the factory and it's pretty large. Basically every kind of candy, from any season, you can think of that they make is here. Different sized boxes and different packaging and tons of options. They also have a "fresh candy" place at the front where they are some options inside a glass case (I got some awesome toffee from this case). Prices are reasonable, not super cheap, but not overpriced. Hubby got a lot of different candies, and in the back section they have various holiday options for you to stock up on if necessary. There were only 2 people working there and neither were very friendly which always loses a star for me. If you're looking for chocolate though, definitely make this a stop! read more

Traveling in TX and miss the "outlet" store in OKC. I came for their sugar free selections. Once upon a time in OKC they had actual christmas themed sugar free chocolates and I had hoped this was the case here. They had sugar free candies, but no santa's or reindeer, etc. Pricing of the sugar free were comparable to what I can purchase at WalMart. However, it's a nice place. The employees were nice. Looking at the carmel apples, the candy display and ice cream selections was nice. Nothing I could eat, but I bought enough sugar free candy to last for a while. If I was in the area, I'd go back, but since their selection was pretty much what I could get at WalMart or my local Russel Stover's store, I'll buy from them. The 3 stars are for customer service. The cashier asked me if I was a member of their rewards program and I said no and then he asked if I'd like to be and I said no. Then he started scanning my chocolates and asked me the same thing again! And I told him that he had already asked me that then he paused and asked if I had come back in. I told him no. Then he said well you said that I asked you that already. And I said yes just now and he said no I didn't and I said yes you did. I'm not about to argue about something so stupid. Also, he just gave me a cardboard box for the chocolates I bought without even asking if it was ok. I'll think twice before stopping there again unless they install self checkout so I don't have to interact with such strange forgetful cashiers that want to argue with you. read more

I miss the one in Okc. I went to KC the other day and found one in Merriam Ks. Well it was at rush hour, the store was not busy. The lady working the store helped me find my favorites plus a Blooper box. Since I was leaving the area to go back home, she was able to instruct me as to where the closest gas station was. How can you say anything bad about a place that gives you a free piece of chocolate just for walking inside? Make sure you grab a cart at the front... because you're going to need it. If you think you're just gonna walk through and buy one or two items and don't need a cart, this store is not for you. This was my first time at the Russell Stover factory store and my mom's second. She was the one that directed me to go to the very back first, since that's where they have the deep clearance items. It was early December and they not only had a wide variety of their chocolates, but lots of Halloween candies and Valentine's Day boxes Which were all still in excellent shape. After doing some very successful shopping in clearance, we made our way into the front part of the store. They had all kinds of holiday items and candies out for Christmas, as well as the regular candies and a huge display case running half the width of the building full of individual chocolates and candies. They also have a huge selection of sugar free chocolates. Located just off interstate 45 and 287 in Corsicana, it's barely 3 minutes away from the highway... Today was my last visit here. I've never been so disgusted. I went to pay for the items I picked up, and noticed 2 females behind the register talking. One of the females looked up, and saw me standing there, and continued talking with the other female. Another couple approached the register from the opposite side, a white couple, and she immediately started helping them, and then told me she'd help me AFTER she was done with them, although I was there first. Miles before we were even in Corsicana we saw the billboards, "Free chocolate samples." How could I pass up free chocolate? As we arrived to Corsicana, we took the exit that would lead us to chocolate factory. I was psyched. I have seen their chocolates in just about every store from the corner drug store to the grocery store. It was interesting to see that this is the source of Russell Stover Candies. It was enormous. This wasn't just a chocolate store it was a chocolate factory. I have been to Kegg's Candies (Houston) and Lammes Candies (Austin), and now Russell Stover (Corsicana) I was amused by the sign outside, it read, "75% off Valentine's Candies." It's October, and they're offering Vday candies at a discount? Sure enough, inside they have entire aisles full of vday candies. The savings are great, giant heart shaped boxes were 2 dollars each. The markup at retail stores is huge. Their chocolate truffles are "competitively priced," meaning they're about the same price as a local chocolatier ($3 per truffle). Lammes Candies has better price for sure when it comes to truffles. I love strawberry marshmallow in chocolate, so that's what I grabbed. It was tasty, tasted just like the ones at the local grocery store. No additional points added for being super fresh. My co-pilot had the butter pecan fudge. It was soooo sweet, even for me; it was like biting into frosting, at the same time the pecan flavor was strong. I enjoyed visiting Russell Stover in Corsicana.
