I was shopping at the Ace Hardware at 3404 West 95th St in Evergreen Pk IL today and got help from one of the store worker to see if they carry an item I was looking for, needless to say as usual Ace came through again. Ace Hardware is a local trusted helpful Hardware store. Lowe's, Home Depot and Menard's is ok, but Ace Hardware is still in a class by itself. As soon as a worker see you he or she are ready to help you ASAP, unlike the big box stores. The cashier is very informative as well to assist you in finding the items you're looking for. A tall gentleman behind the counter (with help from the manager) spent well over an hour researching the original paint that was purchased for my home. After a long search, they found the original paint and color which was different than what I thought it was. The original paint used was discontinued so he recommended the best alternative in the same color (Egret white). He tested it against my color and found it was still slightly off so he spent even more time to create an almost perfect match to my original paint. He did ALL of this to sell ONE gallon of paint! These guys are knowledgeable, patient, and terrific to work with. The tall guy should get a massive raise! Thank you CP store!!
