I have owned my 1975 Honda cb550 for the better part of 25 years. It is an antique. I was shopping…read morefor a mechanic because there is no way I was letting some 18 yr old right out of school work on my bike. These guys are the real deal and they know how to make them run right. I just got my bike back from them and it has not run this good since the day I got it. (Probably better the carbs were never adjusted to the custom pipe that was on it when I bought it) The price ?. Completely fair. The amount of work my bike needed required patience and it was totally worth it. I only know what my needs were and this shop exceeded them. I would recommend them to anyone in a similar situation.

BEWARE!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE, THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER! If I could give zero stars…read moreto this business I would! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST SHOP!! The owner Charlie is highly unprofessional, terrible customer service and ZERO business integrity! My husband and I purchased an ATV from the owner Charlie this past winter, upon purchase Charlie agreed that there was nothing mechanically wrong with the bike. The bike started having mechanical issues almost immediately and had been back and forth to this shop for repair but every time we get it home something breaks down within 24hrs or less. We recently took the bike back to Charlie for repair in late April 2026. I am writing this review on June 30, 2026. CHARLIE and his workers have given excuse after excuse as to why he has not done a diagnostic assessment of the bike. After the shop completed the diagnostic repair he stated he would order the parts and have the bike completely fixed the week after Memorial Day. The day came and went the bike is still not repaired, now he claims he needs parts again, they sent the wrong part etc We have had to call the shop every day to check the status of the repairs only to be given another EXCUSE!! CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CALL YOU EVERYDAY FOR THE STATUS OF REPAIRS, especially when you have had the bike for repair for OVER 2 months! Last week the shop and owner Charlie stated he had all the parts and committed that the bike would be ready Wed, July 1st, by and today the owner Charlie started yelling at him over the phone and said he did not want to be bothered, he had other customers and HUNG UP THE PHONE! We drove from Chicago to Orland to attempt to speak with in person, he became extremely irate, began yelling and screaming at us waving his hand in our face telling us that he had other customers and other jobs and that we should just leave. I became extremely uncomfortable with the way in which he was aggressively, yelling and waving his hand in my husband and my face and I started filming the interaction. The owner CHARLIE and his staff became even more irate, aggressive and threatening when he saw that I was recording the entire interaction. The police were called to deescalate the situation and Charlie again committed to Orland PD to having the bike ready "next week" . The situation sucks because he has broken the bike down mechanically and it will cost us even more time and money to try to get the bike to another shop for repair for the terrible work CYCLES R US has provided. Since dealing with CYCLES R US and the owner Charlie, my husband and I have learned this shop has a terrible reputation with many customers, particularly customers of color. The owner is highly disrespectful, rude, unprofessional and dismissive, when you respond to his antics he will become irate, aggressive and call the police as a tactic to either not finish the work on your bike or to try to keep your property and sell it to make a buck! I find this business discriminatory, disrespectful, unprofessional, and the work and owner flat out SUCK! I will include as much video and photo of the terrible interaction we experienced

We have dealt with Dariusz each time we have come. He is always friendly, helpful and provides good information. I recently stopped by to have the license front plate put on the new car. Dariusz took care of me and this was the first time I got to experience ordering from the cafe. They have a menu on the table from which you can order. I wanted to order the pancakes but they didn't have that so I tried the french toast and some bacon. It was nice having breakfast while waiting for my car. The young lady cooking the food wasn't friendly. When it was time for me to place my order, she just looked at me instead of greeting or asking for my order so I had to speak first. That needs to be worked on. The client advisors at this dealership I like. There is an African American woman there with a blond afro who is always kind and friendly to us when we come. There is also an African American gentlemen by the name of William "Bill" Harris, Jr. who works there who is friendly to us also. We would like to deal with one of them when it's time to upgrade one of our vehicles. It's nice to see how nice everything looks like since their recent renovation as we got to see it under construction to now the "new". NEEDS ATTENTION: My car was finished and I had some questions about using the digital aspects of the car. Dariusz recommended I talk to Concierge to get the answers I needed. That's where my visit turned extremely sour. There was no one at concierge desk There was a large hispanic guy sitting by the desk chillin' and I told him I needed to talk to someone in concierge and he told me "oh he's upstairs". So I had to wait for him. When someone comes, this young guy walks up to me and extends his hand and says "my friend". I am an older woman, you don't greet customers in that way. I told him you didn't even introduce yourself, what is your name? He said his name was ABE. I proceeded to try to explain to him what I needed but every time I did, he cut me off in conversation because I guess he thought he knew what I was going to say. I found out that my car doesn't have digital navigation in it so I wanted to weigh my options. He told me it would be $700 to have it installed or in his opinion, save money and use the Android Auto using a usb cord. He kept putting his opinions on me. I told him "I'm trying to get information so I can make a decision" and he was like "why would you pay $700, I'm trying to save you money" Why he wanted to be in my pockets while throwing possible service center business away, i don't know. Finally, I had told him how rude he was being because he kept interrupting me when I spoke. He told me to "go ahead" and when I tried to speak again, he interrupted me one last time. I couldn't take it anymore and told him, "you know what, that's okay because you are being rude and won't let me talk". He in turns says to me "Hey, I was just trying to help you". No apology or anything. As I proceeded to leave, he told me "oh, we can try again" and I told him that "you are not willing to listen to what a customer has to say and it's rude. Let this be a lesson to you for the next customer(s) you have to help". Concierge is supposed to be a place where you get help, not frustration and pushback. They need to get someone that is willing to help customers, not turn them away. I hope the next time I come there, they have someone else there - there is way too many qualified people with great customer service skills who would love to have that job. Because of him, a star was removed from my review.

I really can't believe how many dealership still use sleazy, con-man style tactics. BETTENHAUSEN had a beautiful, very low mileage B5 in their showroom and the price was perfect. This was a no hassle, no pressure, no games, dealship with friendly salesman. I fell in love and was prepared to pay cash on the spot, but had no way to get it home. They offered to drive it the hour+ drive to my home and deliver it. I declined the very kind offer of delivery and came back the next day to a freshly waxed beauty with a full tank of gas and all the paperwork ready to go. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. I highly recommend this dealership. Thanks Dave for making the buying process as smooth as my new ride.

They have the Porter take me there to drive it back and that could be my test drive. Sounds good. On the way there, Porter gets a call and he hangs up and informs me, tires are not in and they will be in tomorrow, so I can just drive the car back. Cool. We get there, I wait in the car a few minutes, porter comes back and says they are giving it an oil change, should only take 5 minutes. He walks me to the counter and I tell him I will ubet out of here if I'm here long. We get to the counter, 3 guys standing there, and one guy asked me if I'm here for service. The porter says no, he's here to test drive the car. I asked how long it's gonna take, "I don't know, let me go check" I can clearly see no one is even working on it. No one knew it ws getting an oil change. It's gonna be about 10 minutes. Nope take me back to the other dealership. I do NOT appreciate being LIED to. You can not tell me the sales guy Jay was not told all this info before sending me their. i will NEVER step foot in any one of there dealerships again.
