It seems like a typical Home Depot store. Nothing much exciting to report. We have been quite a few times due to little projects and this as our closest supply store. Stop in to grab an item or two. There appears to be plenty of help around but we did experience one lady waiting in the garden department for a while. We ended up helping her load some bags of potting soil into her cart as she was sick of waiting for someone to help. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of. They have bare minimum of selections. No matter what you're looking for it has only a few options of it. The website and app have more on it than the store does- generally a good mix but not here. Everyone is online only. The aisles and main walkway in front of aisles have stairs or displays blocking everything and it seems so clustered and no set up. I have only encountered friendly employees which is a plus. There comes a time where you have so many employees standing around yet self check out at the worst type of store for that. No point in that. But there comes a time when I'm looking at everything in the aisle and employees ask me 3-4x if I need help and keep walking by like I'm shoplifting and they're babysitting me... Speaking of- we couldn't feel/ look at the wire we were looking for because it was all chained up with anti theft locks. We didn't bother to ask for assistance because it was so expensive here. My bf wanted to get it elsewhere since we will also have to go elsewhere since they had zero closet brackets that work with a rod... We usually enjoy the Halloween and Christmas decorations up seasonally here. There was a water spill in the main aisle walk way leaving greenhouse back into store that never got cleaned up and had a sign saying be careful for an hour and still there when we left. Bathrooms are clean. Parking lot is big enough. Some handicap parking spots. The greenhouse did have a lot of options with employees available to assist. The indoor plants section was very very tight and small and you cannot push a cart around there unless you're walking straight back to the greenhouse. We watching multiple people bring dogs with to the greenhouse on leashes and also watched them pee right on the ferns sitting on the ground so that's great.... read more

I was door dashing for the first time on Friday, first time at the store as well, i walked in and walked around then saw the pickup and accidentally walked in thru the exit, when an old ratchet lady had a nasty attitude and gave me a dirty look, telling me my first mistake was walking in thru the exit, then i gave her my pick up order number, she walked me to a cart with heavy bags i did not have room in my car for, i then asked her if she knew how to cancel the order and she said no... smacking her gum obnoxious and walked away.... Good Morning Last night around 7:15pm you had two young men one named Daniel and the other one is an african america boy. Both standing around I was trying to call for help from them but they both were using profanities out loud. So after loading my mulch by myself I went back in the store and spoke to Janet at the service desk and told her the situation and she did apologize and said she would let management know. I shop all the time at this store and I feel like yesterday was the last straw. We went in there today to get a new shower faucet/shower head. Much to our surprise the boxes of product were all wired to each other and the shelf with those anti theft hoops.There was absolutely no help to be found to release them from the shelf. We are just starting a bathroom remodel. We are going to purchase several thousand dollars in plumbing,flooring,cabinets n sink. NOT HERE if I cannot get the parts I want to buy off the shelf. I went in to return a $55 gallon of primer I didn't open and didn't need because I found another unopened gallon at home that I forgot about. I didn't have my receipt, I told the returns desk guy I might have paid cash for it, I wasn't sure. He asked me three times what credit card I used. I told him if I had a credit card receipt, we'd be having a different conversation. He said he could give me a store credit, I said fine, but they come up with a price of $29.98. I said that's too big a difference as I recall paying $55 for it. I asked to speak to a manager. Next to the return cashier are boxes piled up, two employees sitting around talking. This young girl sits up a little straighter and says she's a manager. She says they give you the lowest price. I said I remember paying $55. Then she says "that's your incentive to not lose your receipt; we give you the lowest price of the item." She goes on to say: "I'm trying to help you." I asked how is that helping me? She continued to sit on the box and stared at me. I then said I'd like to talk to the store manager. Her response is "he'll tell you the same thing." So the store manager comes over, very tall man with a beard. I told him what the lady manager who cannot get up off her comfy box in the corner said to me. He said we give you the price at which it was last sold. I then went to look for this primer in the paint department, wanted to do so quickly and I figured the person at the paint desk would know. Well, no one at the paint desk at 7:30 in the evening. I did a quick walk thru, couldn't find it and went back up front. Told the store manager no one was there, he headed off in that direction. He ended up giving me a significant credit to help make up for this hassle. And about the young 20ish girl with long brown hair who says she's a manager and likes to spend her time sitting on boxes in the corner rather than even standing up to speak to a customer - may someone educate her on how to be respectful and honestly helpful to customers. And get off her butt and stand up when speaking to others. They seem overstaffed in the returns area and should have the staff that sits and chats there with other employees get up and help in other areas. Home Depot (Frankfort, IL) removed my old, but working washer & dryer because we paid for haul-away and were upgrading our appliances. They could not deliver the new units because they sent the wrong size pedestals. They then refused to bring my existing units back in my house. See where they left them.This was their 3rd unsuccessful delivery attempt due to them forgetting something or sending the wrong people who could not install a pedestal washer. Home Depot flooring department is awful. When in the store shopping for new flooring I had to go hunt down an associate to help with the order. I walked around the kitchen remodeling department and found two associates hiding among the cabinets talking to each other. When I asked if there was someone that could help with flooring, they looked at each other and one finally said, "it's your turn". We finally made it through the ordering process and we were told it was back ordered. This was the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Fast forward to June 26th and we finally received an email with a delivery date of June 29th, 2021 between the hours of 6:00am and 8:00pm. Yes, that is a 14 HOUR DELIVERY WINDOW! That is absolutely ridiculous that the delivery window cannot be narrowed down - 14 HOUR WINDOW, that is piss pour customer service; to expect your customers to give up 14 hours of a day to sit at home waiting for a delivery. So here we sit at 7:45pm and the delivery still is not here. UN-FING-BELIEVABLE!!! Home Depot you have failed!! One star is too high of a rating. Update: it is now after 8pm and the order is not delivered. We called the Home Depot number for questions about our order to try to find out some information. I spoke to one of their customer service associates who put me on hold and then hung up on me. read more

I am at Home Depot probably once a week. I pick up items I need for my terminal here as well as my home. I have purchased plants, Christmas trees, lumber, lighting fixtures, appliances and had my bathroom remodeled by them. Overall, I have had really good experiences here. Over the past ten years, there have been a few glitches but Home Depot has always done right by us. Our biggest problem was the paper work for a rebate on a fridge and finally Home Depot just refunded us the money that we would have gotten from the rebate. That is pretty good customer service. Our remodeled bathroom looks terrific and the craftsmen was so excellent, we have hired him for other jobs. Ok so please take this post only for what it is. I do like Home Depot and will continue to shop there--this post is to educate and make others aware. This past Labor Day weekend my husband and I went to this particular Home Depot to buy a new washer and dryer. Our washing machine was broke and our dryer took forever to dry. The set came with the house and we felt it was time to buy new. HD had a great sale so we got the Samsung brand which is not only beautiful but is very cost efficient when using. After we made the purchase we were told the delivery would be the following Friday. I remember thinking that it seemed like a long time, but they must have a lot of deliveries. So ok. I had to go to the laundromat for one more week. I can live with that no biggie. The Friday finally came and we got the call about them coming and they'd be at our home in 20 minutes. About 45 minutes later they showed up and installed the washer with no problem. However when they went to take the dryer off the truck they dropped it! They tried to talk us into taking the dryer because we'd get a discount and you wouldn't "see" the dent once it was installed (of course nothing said about the possibility of lifelong problems with it working). I told my husband no way based on principle. So they took it back and meanwhile HD calls my husband to verify all this. It took one more week--again on a Friday-- to get the dryer. So again we have to wait and they call and yes they say they'll be here in 20 minutes and then another 45 minutes go by before they arrive. This time my husband couldn't be here and the two come in. No ID. Nothing to identify these guys are with HD. No HD truck. Just a plain white truck. They bring the dryer in they install it--couldn't have taken more than 20 minutes--I'm not kidding. He briefly tells me to let it run so it doesn't give my first load a burning smell. He sets it to run for like 15 minutes with nothing in there. I sign something they are gone. Go to use the dryer--after it's done, timer goes off, go to check, the clothes still wet. Ok I think I must have done something wrong. Go to run it again. Same thing. THEY DIDN'T TURN THE GAS ON!!! My husband comes home dog tired from work he had to do it. I say all this to say that although I like the product I was not happy with this whole scenario. I also believe that HD uses an outside company (if you want to call it that) to deliver, install and take away your old appliances. In such a huge rush to get the delivery done and get to the next one was very apparent and they made two huge mistakes--dropping the dryer and not turning on the gas. Please be aware and careful when purchasing any appliances from HD. read more

Will no longer do a return without a receipt not matter what it is you are returning. Tried to return a couple extra pieces of ductwork that I paid cash for and no way for me to return since I lost the receipt. This is just showing you they don't care about your business I didn't mind a store credit since I go there regularly but that was no longer an option. I'd like to know why Home depot is doing this. Is it because they can sell your buying info for more money that the credit card charges them for using their services? Never buy appliances from this store. We purchased a GE dryer about two months ago which stopped heating. Home Depot sent their third party delivery service to repair it but they determined that the dryer needs to be replaced. When I called Home Depot, they passed the responsibility and referred me to GE because it has been more than two days since purchase. When I finally got through to GE, they said they needed to have their own repair people look at it to make that determination but they couldn't come for two weeks. The frustrating part is that we paid $800 for a brand new dryer that doesn't work and Home Depot will not take any responsibility. We reached out to a repair service on our own who informed us that this is a common practice for Home Depot. Their customer service is horrific. read more

We've been really pleased with The Home Depot ever since they opened the Frankfort location. I have had flowering plants from here last longer than way more expensive ones I have gotten at the Farmer's Market. They have done a bang up job on installation of appliances and stand behind their products. I had one minor problem once with a dryer and they replaced the whole dryer. We are thinking of redoing our floors and Home Depot will be the first place we look. I know less than zero about home remodeling stuff and the people who work here are always really patient and give me great advice. Home Depot...hmm... more like Home Help and Rescue! read more

I am heartbroken and have been trying to get some sort of resolution to this matter for 2 months. Customer service at this store is the absolute worst I have ever encountered! After going 0 for 3 with custom orders, it is time to issue a warning to the consumers out there to AVOID THIS STORE. Important note: My wife and son work there and RE supervisors. I will only convey the last issue, which unfolded today. I ordered custom carpet for my home which is scheduled to be on the market starting tomorrow. After confirming delivery and installation three times, I was surprised to find that the installer was short on the amount of a carpeting, making the job impossible to complete before I leave town on a permanent relocation. Here is where it gets really weird. The mployees at the store, my family's coworkers and upped friends are saying I intentionally ordered two thosand dollars of carpeting that I was told would not fit. Wait - what??? A blatant lie and a nonsensical one at that. Add the terrible attitude Ron the operations manager's assistant and we are definitely headed to lawsuit central. So, here I sit with a job half done and a house that I am going to have to offer a buyer credit on because the carpeting was not replaced as ordered, paid for and promised. I cannot tolerate liars and when you couple it with shitty customer service it is a recipe for disaster. So now I have to dispute the charges and find an emergency carpet cleaning service. Had asimple question about if HD carried garage door torsion springs, sat on hold for several minutes. The person in this department never answered so i finally hung up answer when operator came back on and offered to take a message. This is the second poroblem with this HD. 6 months ago I order a front door from Jeldwin and it was totally made wrong!!! This door was several thousand dollars and they wanted to "make it" fit. Jeldwin rep blamed the installers and the installers blamed the defective door. I do know a little about a little, The door was a complete piece of crap!!! Not the installers fault. Cancelled the whole door and made them remove it and refund my $$$$ Ordered a Pella from Lowes and truned out awesome!!! Paid a little more but worth it!!! I have been trying to acquire some rumblestone bricks to complete a project - checked Frankfort inventory online first, went to store - only 5 left. Checked Orland inventory online 85 in stock when to the store, same. Checked Matteson inventory online, 90+ in stock, called the store before driving, no one answered, got there, none. Checked Homewood inventory online, over 400+ in stock, got to the store, none. Absurd. I am not happy that I've not gotten incorrect information from 4 locations. we had a refrigerator delivered to the house when the driver called to say they were there I told him to put the old fridge in the garage. his response was its not on the paperwork so they can't/wont move it. I said their was a misunderstanding and I will call home depot and get it straightened out . he said you can call whoever you want if it's not on the paperwork we are not going to move it anywhere. so I call home depot and explain that the delivery driver is there and he refuses to move the fridge because it wasn't in the paperwork that I paid... I then offered to give him my card number to pay for it ( I did ask when I bought it to have it moved) his response was we go through this all the time they will not move it and I need to reschedule to have them come back and it could be a week or two... so my fridge is going to sit in my living room for 2 weeks? I'm not upset with the mover because if the company is not getting paid to move it or is having a hard time getting paid after its done I understand it. my problem is with home depot if a manager tells you it happens all the time then fix the problem.. you're telling me that you can't call your delivery company and say the costumer just paid over the phone have your guys move it we are sending over your fee right now? do yourself a favor even if it cost a few bucks more go somewhere else read more

If we could give this company a zero we would. Beware if you are buying major appliances and contract The Home Depot for delivery and installation. We purchased a GE dishwasher, stove and microwave range-hood. After waiting 6 weeks the items were scheduled for delivery and installation. We removed the previous microwave and patched and painted the wall since the new microwave was a much smaller version. Not only did the installer break the new microwave trying to install it he also put large holes in the wall. He then proceeded to move the existing range and did not check that his plastic pad was clean this caused our wooden floors to be scratched across six boards leaving approximately a two foot scratch along with several other minor scratches. At this point we requested he not install any of the appliances but return them per the manager at the store I had contacted and had on the phone. What really makes this a nightmare is that The Home Depot's insurance said that they would not cover the damage since the driver told them that he did not do any of this damage and that it was caused by my husband moving the stove. Ask yourself this "why would we move the stove when there were two men from The Home Depot there to do it. Bottom line be aware that The Home Depot contracts independent installers to come into your home and if they do any damage you are passed off to the contractor and The Home Depot steps aside as if this is not their problem but an issue between the home owner and the installer. We ended up purchasing our appliances elsewhere, painting and patching the walls again and attempting to repair the floor as best we could without removing the boards. Bottom line be aware of who is delivering your appliances and who is responsible should something go wrong! read more

This is about the work products that are sold here. I got a beef about the 56 volt products being discontinued. I guess the products work too good, so they have to make cheaper voltage and smaller motors so that they break down quicker. They no longer are making anything at all with a 56 volt mower. Too bad, I needed parts and now can't get anything. I bought an EGO mower instead. I like the cordless products being sold, and it's better to have more power when using a mower or leaf blower. I'll never buy a worxx product again. There are better options out there. I wonder if what they're doing is legal. Oh well, now you know that there are no more 56 volt tools of any kind being made for worxx. read more

I only went to the store to rent a lawn mower as their web site said they had two available...... no this isn't about getting there and the two being gone..... it's about a policy on not renting equipment when it's wet out side... git there and could nit rent any of the 4 lawn mowers they had available- nothing posted anywhere in the store states this - only the sign that says they may charge a cleaning fee if equipment is returned in in acceptable condition. Well all this aside the two staff members bordered on rude in explaining the special rules- over 30 years in customer service and sales and I never written a review or worked with such poor representatives of an organization-in any case I used google and solved "their issues" read more
