Random trip from Columbus to Toledo to see what type of Jeep shops etc. they had. Town was dead and no sign of Jeep anything anywhere. Happened across this place open in downtown and decided to stretch my legs. Had the best Dirty Chai Latte I've ever had anywhere. Cool little vibe and place. We rushed to get here on our way through Toledo before they closed, because I really wanted to try their rose latte. Unfortunately I discovered that it was seasonal. However their new seasonal item, sparkling lavender lemonade, was very good and refreshing with a good sour zip to it. I also got a Cortado as a consolation prize, and enjoyed it! The coffee is well balanced and well made. We grabbed a blueberry muffin and a chocolate donut. They were not the best baked goods I've ever had but were a fine compliment to the coffee. On top of everything, the service was stellar! We made it like 5 min before close and the barista was still kind enough to take our order and make it really well and tell us about the menu changes! Overall it was a great stop and I can see why it is the top coffee spot on yelp right now. If we lived in the area we would probably be regulars already. :) read more

The Rustbelt is one of my favorite coffee places. I love that Lyle's crepes are parked outside on Saturday mornings. There's something special about a lemon berry crepe to go with my hot chai tea with almond milk. Rustbelt offers a cool atmosphere and friendly people. This place has been a favorite when I'm in town. Candidly it's also near to my heart because I took my wife there on our second date - her birthday - and so we'll always have a fond memory. The area surrounding Rust Belt Coffee is a bit rough but it feels very safe in the parking lot and café. The decor is modern rustic and has a very cool vibe. The food and drinks are exceptionally prepared and presented. I also love that there is a separate area in the back that can be used for business/work. We were looking for a good local coffee shop on our way through Toledo. Rustbelt Coffee was a great stop downtown. It was very busy for a weekday mid-morning. We didn't stay and eat in but they have lots of great meeting space and event a special space for students and business meetings. The coffee was excellent and well crafted. I had one of the best vanilla oat milk lattes I've ever had here! Absolutely delicious! I would go out of my way to come back. The "vibe" was very on point for everything from working on your laptop to meeting up with friends. I also saw they had some rooms you could reserve and a back area for working professionals. Everything from the hardwood, floors, lighting, decor, and big windows to let the sun in made for the perfect coffee shop aesthetic. As an added bonus, the bathrooms were nice and clean. While much of the surrounding area has paid parking, there is a lot with free parking reserved for the coffee shop customers immediately to the right of the building. Stopped in with a friend to catch up quick. Ended up staying for hours because the ambiance is surreal. Love finding cute places to get a quick coffee and stay for a while. Got a chai latte and I must say it was one of the best ones I've ever had (I consider myself an chai expert). A little pricey, but a good one is worth it. A lot of people complain about the seating. My friend and I didn't have a problem finding seats. But we don't mind sitting next to people. If that's a problem for you I wouldn't recommend staying in. What sets this place apart from other coffee shop in the 419 is the store they have in the back. It's similar styling to pottery barn and they sell Tyler candles! (Didn't think you could find them anywhere else than online) if you were to get one of these candles online, you'd spend $14 easily on shipping so stock up! read more

Got a black iced coffee with a shot of espresso in it. Took over 10 minutes to be prepared and was probably one of the worst things I've tasted. It was the only thing nearby so I didn't have much option in terms of coffee. But it was just unbearably bitter and hard to tolerate. I gave it a few sips and swirls to make sure it didn't need stirred. But I just couldn't come around. read more

It has been a Very Long Time since I took a sip of a new-to-me coffee and said to myself, "This is really good coffee!" On my way back from lunch with a co-worker, we stopped by Rustbelt for coffee to go. I ordered a skinny vanilla latte (skim milk, sugar free vanilla syrup). I should note that we did have to wait probably a minute before someone acknowledged us, but we also got two separate apologies for the wait (which really wasn't that long, considering we didn't know what we wanted yet, anyway). My 12 oz flavored latte, with tip, cost me just over $5. That's pretty reasonable. The place was packed at lunch time, so obviously other folks think that's reasonable, too. I also noted on the menu board that Rustbelt carries lunch items from Pam's Corner -- ironically enough, one was the very entree I'd just enjoyed at Pam's. As we walked back to work, I took that first tentative sip -- you know the one, where you're testing to see if the hot coffee is going to napalm you or if it's drinkable -- and I said aloud, completely without meaning to, "This is really good coffee!" This coffee shop has it all! Located in downtown Toledo, Rustbelt Coffee is a coffee shop lovers dream. Amazing atmosphere, delicious coffee, even more delicious hot chocolate, and inspiration at Ever corner of the shop. Their coffee selection features some very unique seasonal flavors. On my visit, I had a tough time deciding between the Honey Lavender Latte and the Agave Latte. I chose the ladder, and was blown away! I will be back to get the other one. Live and work in downtown Toledo and went for the first time today. M&B and Starbucks are both more convenient to my condo or office but both are closed on Saturday's due to the Covid-19. Instead of driving to a coffee house I decided to give a downtown based business a try. I'm giving them a five on product quality but 1 on social responsibility. Even though masks are now required of all employees dealing with customers neither of the barisitas were wearing masks or gloves and standing next to each other chatting. Until the Covid-19 crisis is over with, I'll just drive to Starbucks since they require their customers to wear masks. read more

Was immediately greeted by a nice lady so overall a win in service for me. I love places where I don't need to fight for the individuals attention. I ordered the strawberry gunpowder tea. I have to say, I have never tried anything quite like it back on the east coast. It was light and refreshing with hints of strawberry. The overall vibe of the environment was great.
