Horrible. Tried to order online but it didn't go through because of a issue with your website. I called them and was transferred to two people who kept say g the problem was me. Finally I was transferred to someone I was told could help me with the order and I was put through to a voicemail and told to call back and press "1". I called back and pressed 1, explained the problem again and said I would need to pay via credit card link, could he help. He proceeded to spend over 20 minutes getting my info. Took some down wrong even though I was speaking slowly then asked for my credit card info. I reminded him he was sending me a credit card link because I needed to pay online. He put me on hold, came back and said they can't do that. At this point I was nearly 30 minutes in. I found my credit card through my phone and gave it to him and all the info again. He said there was a problem with my billing address and he was not able to submit the payment. We went through the info again and he took the expiration date down wrong. Still no dice. He asks me to get another credit card. I don't have one. I try to go through my info with him again, and he hangs up. No call back. Luckily I looked up these reviews and will not be using their service. Totally unprofessional. read more

This is only a one because there is no zero to choose. My son ordered anniversary flowers from here for me. They were due to arrive on Dec. 6th and what he showed me on the site was a beautiful arrangement in a wonderful container. Well the flowers did not arrive on the 6th, they didn't show up until the 10th. And what did I get? 4 yellow roses fully bloomed and wilting, 2 pink roses already dead, in a dollar store vase. So not only 4 days late, dead flowers and cheap vase that was picked up from someones garage, they charged him $88 for them and refuse to refund him. Now I will be putting in a complaint with the credit card company for fraud. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY CLAIM THEY ARE LOCAL AND THEY ARE NOT!!! Worst flower company I've ever delt with. I've been sending my wife flowers to her job for years. This recent flower gifting was particularly special as it was our 19 year anniversary. I know how special it makes her feel when they are delivered in front of coworkers and it the topic of the day. We'll Ruth's Roses completely failed. They called 5 minutes before the company my wife works for closes and said they will be there in 30 minutes. They had a 9 hour window that she was there that they could have delivered them. Luckily the driver did call and my wife said you can just send to my house. To top it off the driver doesn't even work for them and the total cost was $170 dollar dozen and a half roses i ordered were nothing like the picture I chose from. Complete fail!! I even called mid day to make sure they will be on time and the lady had such a strong accent I couldn't really understand her and all I got from that was that I'll be emailed once delivered. No information if it was out for delivery. Never will use again and hopefully someone reads this and never uses them. read more

Ordered the Cactus dish for my Girlfriends graduation, I got the date of the party wrong and called the same day to update the delivery date. As the party came and went and no cactus dish I called and was advised that they must not have read the notes, she asked if I wanted it delivered that day and I said yes, well it didn't show up until the next day. Things happen so not a big deal. I asked my girlfriend is she liked the cactus dish and she said you mean the purse of aloe vera? I asked her to send me a picture of it, not even close. Same day delivery isn't guaranteed, no way of getting an ETA of delivery, terribly hard to cancel an order as the support center throws you into an endless loophole of "investigating the delivery details". Absolutely the worst flower purchase experience I have ever had. They offer free delivery but charge you a $19 service fee, so delivery isn't really free. Furthermore, they made no effort to reach the recipient. They were home and elected to just leave on the porch. I would rate them as horrible and give them a negative star, if I could, and like other reviewers I wish I had researched this company on Yelp before I ordered flowers from them. Their post on Yelp suggests that they are located in Ontario California. Their website represents that if you order before 2:00 p.m. that they offer same day delivery. I ordered the flowers at 9:00 a.m. for a good friend whose boyfriend died suddenly. The flowers were NEVER delivered. I called twice and was transferred to what sounded like an overseas-located company. Both times I was told by a lady that the "flowers were out for delivery" and that I would be getting "an email once they were delivered". That email never appeared. Because of this, I followed up via email at 5:08 p.m., then at 6:51 p.m. and then finally at 9:11 p.m. I cancelled the order. The next day they sent me an email at 7:36 a.m. stating "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are currently awaiting the delivery details for your order. We will try our best to get back to you as soon as we receive an update." Their response did not sound promising. I again told them that the order was cancelled because the delivery was not made the same day as promised on their website. I will now be dealing with my credit card company to void the charges. It's my birthday today and my husband wanted to surprise me by sending me flowers to work today. I got off at 1 and when I got home at 2 they called me and texted me letting me know I was supposed to receive a bouquet , so I called my husband to ask him about it. Let me tell you he is livid. He told me he called around 11 am to ensure they would deliver the bouquet before I left and they told him yes. I thought the promised flowers were pretty, but I wanted an even larger arrangement so I paid for the deluxe meaning it should have been even larger. What was delivered, a day late, and only after I called them a couple of times because they'd promised same day, was a wilted sad bouquet with barely a 3rd of the flowers it should have included. Having been a florist for several years, I understand there can be issues with flowers lasting, deliveries not getting there in time, etc., but it's how you go about handling the problems that arise. This company had the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. My flowers did not get delivered and they didn't contact me to tell me. I checked with the recipient and she had not received her floral gift. When I called Roth's Roses to see what happened, I was on hold for quite a while, so I called back and they told me there would be a 48 hour investigation as to why my flowers were not delivered, which is their standard policy. I know of no company that has such a horrible turn around time, but I accepted it. I waited and never heard back. So I called them again, was put in hold, then they informed me my money had been refunded but could give me no reason as to why my flowers had not been delivered, nor did they offer me the choice of still having flowers delivered. I laughed and said can you please tell me why they weren't delivered or why I wasn't contacted? She put me on hold.. I left my phone on speaker for 20 minutes and again I laughed at the customer service I was receiving. The next day, I checked my credit card and they had not refunded my money. I completely understand mishaps and mistakes happen... but there's no excuse for poor customer service! This business does not exist in Ontario, CA. It is a call center. I had my order going to a hospital in Ontario, but my flowers were never received. I called 1-844-799-2245, and they told me the driver could not deliver the flowers because the hospital would not accept them, which was a lie. The hospital's security guard confirmed this was not true. I never received a call or email from Ruth's Roses to let me know they were undeliverable. They said they would send the flowers to a different address, so, I had to have them delivered to my home, and it was not even what I ordered. I paid $120.00. I asked for refund they said NO final sale. I couldn't speak to anyone at the supposed business location in Ontario because it doesn't exist. Every time I called, I got someone from the Philippines. I also wish I did a little more research before purchasing a $100+ bouquet. Only reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because, the flowers were delivered before 12pm when the order was placed same day at 8am, the "small" stuffed animal was actually a decent size and super cute, as well as the flowers being fresh. The recipient does live in a small city with only a few shops in the area, so with Ruth Roses being a middle man, I do believe that had a lot to do with the fact that they were decent quality flowers. My only thing is the color scheme was not the same as the photo, but it was similar. The flowers I ordered had very pink and orange looking petals but the picture I received shown that they were more purple. Along with the original photo showing orange roses and then observing yellow roses post delivery. That's the only reason why like I felt it shouldn't have been that much, or at-least have the florist get in contact with me to see if I wanted another style. I spent $100 on flowers + chocolate for my mom for Valentine's Day and she was delivered flowers that could have been picked up from the grocery store. Actually the grocery store has a better selection than what they delivered! I called to ask what happened and they said they couldn't help over the phone and to email instead.
