    New Year's Eve meal ! Yelp 2026 !!!!

Of course Ruth Chris speaks for itself as far as a reputable establishment. With that said, I definitely still want to highlight their service and delicious food options. The stuff chicken always amazes me at how consistently good it is.... And this time, I was extremely impressed with their lobster Mac & cheese !! And shoutout to the bartender who made sure the drinks had a nice kick to it !!! And as always the environment was festive and tastefully decorated!!

The food was excellent. The staff excellent. The seating excellent. But the prices way too high. Come on people. Make it affordable

Went after concert. The hostess was pleasant and informative. We had 2 waiters one was in training we had Carlos & Sam both gentlemen were very attentive and polite. They assisted us with our drinking options. It was after 7pm the restaurant was clean not to pack the lighting was low but you could read the menu. Our food was delicious and seasoned served in a timely manner.

The stuffed chicken breast is my all time favorite!!!!!! It's so flavorful and juicy! I always make reservations on OpenTable. The views of the area / airport from this location are so amazing! I loved the Ruth's Classic convo with the steak and lobster.

My dining experience was just okay. My little group of 3 came in to celebrate 2 birthdays. They were really nice to put out some confetti on our table. Our server was sweet, but they were quite busy. With how busy they were, our server took some time to check in on us, but it was understandable. They have a few large dining rooms with tables and chairs equipped to accommodate different group sizes. The view at night over the city was pretty, but not quite that intriguing for me to come in and eat at the restaurant. For the price range, the food could've been better. We ordered stuffed chicken breast, sizzling crab cakes, au gratin potatoes, lobster mac and cheese and sweet potato casserole. We also ordered blueberry mojitos for drinks. The lobster mac and cheese was meant to be the main for one of us that has food allergies. It came out very soupy and bland rather than creamy and cheesy. The dish was sent back twice, but our friend finally gave up after. They offered to remove it from the bill, which our friend accepted. The sizzling crab cakes were your regular crab cakes. The stuffed chicken breast was actually quite a large portion, and my friend said it was pretty good. The au gratin potatoes and the sweet potato casserole were actually quite delicious. Overall, I think the food was average. I think the experience was okay. For the prices of the dishes, I had higher expectations.

I'm solidly on the fence about this place. The Good: The view is fantastic, and the service (at least from Rudy) matched it. Rudy was attentive without being intrusive--checking in regularly, topping off drinks, and asking about dessert. After dinner, on what was clearly a slow night, we let him know we planned to sit and chat for a bit. He flashed a big grin and encouraged us to take our time. That kind of attitude made us feel welcome and unrushed. The manager also checked in, making the rounds with just the right balance of professionalism and personality. He even threw in a quick joke and wished us a happy holiday season, which was a nice touch. The Bad: The food was average--especially for the price. The sides were fine, but the steak (a bone-in ribeye at over $80) was just okay. It wasn't packed with flavor, wasn't cooked to perfection--just... okay. At that price point, it should've been amazing. The hostess stand was a letdown. No one was on the phone or visibly busy, yet we were made to feel like we were an inconvenience. Dismissive and impersonal, their attitude left a bad first--and last--impression. Honestly, it set the wrong tone for the evening. Overall: The view made dinner worth it, and Rudy's service helped salvage the experience. This was a small family gathering--brothers breaking bread--while still feeling the loss of our fourth. That said, between the overpriced food and the lackluster welcome, we're not sure we'd come back. Next time, we may go elsewhere, save a few bucks, and enjoy food that matches the price tag.

This is hands down my favorite Ruth's Chris--not just for the stunning view, but because the people here truly make the experience special. I didn't have a reservation when I arrived around 8:30 PM, so I was told the next available table would be at 9:15 PM. Instead of waiting, I grabbed a seat at the bar, and I'm so glad I did. My date arrived about 10 minutes later, and we were taken care of right away. Eric, the bartender, made the best Casamigos Reposado margarita it was perfectly balanced and smooth. I ordered the New York Strip (medium well), and my date got the same (medium). We shared the seafood mac & cheese, the sweet potato casserole (which honestly tasted like dessert--it's that good), and the crab cakes appetizer. I forgot to snap a pic of the crab cakes, but they were incredible--crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. I'm not even usually a steak person, but the steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Every bite was amazing. The sides were rich, comforting, and the perfect complement to the meal. And as a germaphobe, I've got to say--they passed the test! I was able to wash my hands and exit the bathroom without having to touch a single surface. That attention to cleanliness is a major win in my book and just another reason I love this location. Next time, I'll definitely plan ahead to get a table by the window. I can't wait to come back!

Had a great dinner here. We ordered ribeyes, scallops, potato au gratin and mushrooms. All delicious! Steaks were perfectly cooked. Our server/bartender Jose was nice and helpful.

The main thing I enjoyed was the service and view. We came early before 6pm and the main dining room only had 2 other tables when we were seated. Servers were attentive and the manager came to check on us during our meal, he was very friendly and helpful. The food- I was very disappointed that the French onion soup came out burnt- not just mine but the table of 4 nearby all had burnt bowls. The fact the chef thought it was ok to serve that disgusting bowl disappointed me. I love a good soup. I had to inform the manager and I didn't remember until now that I had a pic of said soup Ordered prefix and steak was ordered medium but overdone. Extra side Mac and cheese was more liquid than cheese. I understand some kitchens have to get in their rhythm but this was disappointing considering we were early and it's a steakhouse the quality and prep should be spot on each time even for a franchise. Maybe next time come for happy hour and enjoy the view but dinner itself was ok. Service and manager was great which brings my review to a 3.8

Food was good. Got the steak and shrimp prix fixed menu. Steak was a 16oz ribeye. Good seasoning and was able to eat the whole piece. Swapped out their cheesecake dessert with Chocolate Sin cake with a glass of milk. Very good. Manager stopped by and had a few minute chat with me. Nice guy. It did get busy after I came in at 6:30 pm so some things did slow down. Waiter was Issa. Nice guy. Better experience than last year. Hopefully when I am back next year this stays the same.

Had a wonderful birthday enjoying their bar menu. Wonderful service- polite, fun, efficient and professional. The petite filet pairing was excellent- cooked perfectly and the cab sav was a great compliment to the dish. I added the blue cheese crust and highly recommend. Pomegranate martini, martini with blue cheese olives, Manhattan, steak sandwiches, saucy shrimp and burger were all delicious. Everything is very clean and the view of the airport makes it interesting. The location in an office building is a bit odd, but you quickly forget where you are.

My experience at Ruth Chris wasn't unusual, but it was outstanding. There were other families there celebrating a birthday. The waiter did his best to help mark the occasion. We couldn't get enough of the view of DC at night, watching the planes come and go sitting high above national airport. There is a nice spot for group photos as you enter the restaurant. It was a little unusual coming off the elevator on the 11th floor to an office space but we found it by listening to the music and letting it lead us there. I ordered steak and shrimp with mash potatoes and a desert if cheesecake. Everything was impressive and in good moderation. My tastebuds were happy. If there was one thing they could improve it would be offering sparkling water free like the still water. I don't think they make it clear that it is an additional charge,

Table wasn't cleared for over an hour....they came because we kept asking.
    Kiesha N.

Horrible service. Waited way to long to even get water. We came in at 5pm no service until 540pm. The restaurant wasn't even busy.....I am disappointed by having our group here for a professional mingle.

Reservations were easy to make, we were seated very quickly, the chairs were comfortable, and the ambiance was beautiful. It is hard to beat a rotating restaurant and the views it offers. The food was excellent. We tried the prix fixe Cherry Blossom special, which included a choice of short ribs or salmon, and both were very good. The specialty drinks for the occasion were excellent, the desserts were very good, and the overall experience was memorable. My only concern was the service. I am not sure whether it was because it was late in the evening, but our waiter seemed very disengaged. For a restaurant that presents itself this well, I would expect the service staff to be much more attentive and invested in the guest experience. We would return, but I would prefer not to be served by him again.

Chicken was alright, salmon was eh. Again not here for the food. All in all with a Diet Coke and a lemonade it came out to $120. I've tried a bite of the pizza in the past and thought it was pretty good, so I wanted to finally get my own! The line was a few people long, and it didn't take too long for my slice to be ready. The margherita slice didn't really look like a margherita slice. It looked more like cheese pizza with a few shriveled pieces of basil and a random slice of tomato, which I have yet to see on any margherita pizza. The flavor was fine, but I also accepted that it's just a cheese slice with a single tomato slice. Maybe I need to try a different pizza if I return in the future. I really enjoyed the pizza the first time around, but it hasn't lived up to that standard since. On my most recent visit this week, I ordered the lunch special: a slice of supreme pizza, a "Greek salad," and a drink. I took my bag to the waterpark area, ready to enjoy my meal. But when I opened the salad, I was immediately disappointed. It was a barebones version of a traditional Greek salad--just peppers, olives, onions, tomatoes, and cucumber topped with feta. No Romaine lettuce, even though it's listed as an ingredient for the Greek salad on their ToastTab online ordering page (see image). Wanting to clarify, I walked back to the restaurant and asked about the missing lettuce. The employee informed me--bluntly--that the salad doesn't come with it. When I asked if I could have some, her response was dismissive: she motioned toward the register and said, "Sure, you can have some lettuce, if you pay for it." Had she handled it more politely, it wouldn't have left such a sour taste. To add to the confusion, there are two menu photos posted on Yelp that describe the Greek salad as including Romaine. However, the printed menu at the restaurant has since changed, and the lettuce has been quietly removed. So buyer beware--what you see online may not match what's served. Between the misleading menu and the rude customer service, I'm not sure I'll be returning.

The seats are really soft, so if I know a movie is gonna be LONG, I come here. The waiters and front desk are usually very nice and attentive (unless it's a sold out film and they're running around trying to get everyone). The food options here are pretty good! Don't expect Gordon Ramsay food, but it's better food than what you'd get at AMC. I do love how every Alamo is decorated in the fashion of their area. Because we're near DCA, our theater is an airport theme. It's really cute. I do have two qualms: Sometimes they turn off the escalators and if you're handicapped like me, there's no way to get up to the next level. They don't usually like customers using the elevators, but what can you do? Also they have big talk about kicking people out in their phones, but when you complain about someone, the waiters are too afraid to do anything. I saw The Apartment here and there was a guy literally talking on the phone. Three other customers complained about the guy and the waiters did nothing. I had to go over and yell at the guy myself. My BEST TIP for you: if you're hungry and want your food and drinks fast, get to your showtime 15 mins early. You'll have your stuff before the movie starts. If you come on time, you won't see any of that food until the 30 mins into the movie.

We ordered bottomless popcorn and M&Ms. The M&Ms arrived after about 15 minutes but I had to remind them about the popcorn, which didn't come until nearly 45 minutes into the movie. We skipped ordering real food because we weren't confident it would arrive in time to enjoy during the film. That said, the chairs are comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the pricing is noticeably better than other dine-in theaters in the DMV. It has real potential.
