Cute bar on the water! Lots of picnic tables and a small indoor area as well. They have several beer and wine options as well as pizza and frozen drinks. They real win is the view though! Theres also a nice grassy section on the water and people brought blankets to sit out there. My only complaint is the bathrooms were kind of gross. Plenty of parking spaces were available

To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of Sonny's Pizza, the parent company for this outlet, due to a failed experiment with rapini. However, I was walking along the water and decided to check this place out. The location is substantial, and while the breeze was chilly at the moment I stopped by, there was ample space indoors and on an outdoor deck to gaze over the water. Only a handful of slice options were available, so I just got a cheese slice. It has a mix of melted cheese and some sprinkled on thereafter, and the crust is light and fluffy. It was a very nice slice, and worth considering if in the area.

Cute! Cute! Cute! Water and I go together! Give me views of water and I'm in heaven! Considering this is such a quaint unique spot service was spot on! We grabbed our lawn chairs, sat down and the Catboat employee came all the way to the lawn to deliver our pizza! The honey grabbed us two Frosès and there we had it, lunch date in VA! Romantic! Let's get into it! Pizza was good! Drinks were better! Good chill spot to enjoy good weather and good company! Come down you won't be disappointed!

YELP strikes again! This ultra cool spot popped up on my Yelp feed and I immediately bookmarked it. This past Saturday, we found the perfect opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous weather at Catboat Pizza Bar. You can eat under their covered tables or you bring your own blanket or folding chairs. We chose to bring out our own chairs and made a makeshift picnic out of the day.. Lol! It has a large adjacent grassy area off of the restaurant that bumps up right next to the Potomac River. Located right across from Reagan National Airport, I've always enjoyed watching planes take off and land. Catboat has the take off point of view. Once you order your pizza and adult beverages, they will find you by your number and deliver your food. Service was great even though we were chillin in the grass! The pan pizza was excellent and the frozen drinks were refreshing! Could use a touch more wine but refreshing just the same :)! I highly recommend Catboat Pizza Bar if you love being outside and pizza.. Dope spot!!!

Ended up here with friends while I was visiting the area! This looks like a great place to spend some time when the weather is pleasant, looking out over the general river area of DC. You can see most of the well known monuments in the distance, see people boating, and just do some people watching. The day we went it was DEADLY hot, but they do have their outdoor areas covered and some fans running, so that surely helps. I would much rather come back in the fall. For the pizza, it was pretty good! You don't have a ton of options for toppings here, but luckily, my favorite pizza is a pepperoni and mushroom anyway, and that is one of the options. They definitely do not short change you on the toppings here, and the slice is very cheesy. That said, good luck picking up the slice to eat it like normal pizza, and the plasticware given to cut it and eat it that way... worthless. It can't cut all the way through. My overall thought, crust to cheese and toppings ratio was off, but clearly a good quality cheese and pep. I'd come back on a fall day to try again, maybe round two will be enough to push it to a 5.

Such a great chill spot for a drink and some 'za! The vibes are what make this marina the best. Kind workers and clean. Watch airplanes, enjoy the waterfront views, and get some snacks and drinks. The pizza is average and limited, but it doesn't detract from the atmosphere! Always a good choice for a chill vibey night!

Catboat has such a great vibe with amazing Potomac River views - perfect for catching some sun, but that's honestly about it. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was absolutely packed. Parking was a pain and took several loops around both lots, but we eventually found a spot. The ordering line was pretty long but moved pretty quickly. We waited around 30 minutes for our food. The pizza came out lukewarm with a burnt crust, which seems to be a common complaint from what I've seen. Overall the pizza was just okay at best. The mango slushies were actually really good and hit the spot, but $9 each? That's pretty steep for a slushie. The setting is beautiful and the atmosphere is nice, but the food just doesn't live up to what you'd expect.

We were so excited to try Catboat since we live in OT, but we left pretty disappointed. We biked there from our house and it was super crowded which we thought was a good sign. The line took us about 45 minutes to order and then we were told pizza would be another hour wait. My partner and I felt like this should've been communicated to customers while they were in line. We ended up just getting drinks, popcorn, and ice cream sandwiches--all of which are prepackaged. The sandwiches were $6 each and had horrible freezer burn from melting and refreezing. We were soooo disappointed. Sadly we won't be back. The view is great so we recommend bringing a towel and your own food to enjoy the vibe!

Great place for outdoor pizza and a cocktail while watching planes land and sailboats pass. Pizza is above average, good beer selection, two frozen drink options (one non-alcoholic!). Highly recommend. Can get crowded really quick but it's usually fairly easy to find a spot to sit (sometimes hard to find a shady spot!)

Great vibes, great views, even better pizza and drinks! Love this spot--such a great addition to Daingerfield Island. This place gets packed and lines get long but food still comes out quickly and service is friendly and welcoming.

This place was the perfect mix of a great outdoor vibe with a view and a casual yet yummy pizza spot. We got one of each of their pizza slices (cheese, mushroom, and pepperoni) and their wine, and I was surprised to see the pizza slices were only ~$5 each and were pretty tasty. They also had other snacks like popcorn and ice cream. We went on a beautiful Friday right around sunset so they were obviously busy, we ended up waiting around 30 mins for our pizza but the view was so nice we didn't notice. Only thing I'd warn about is there were a lot of bugs here, luckily we didn't get bit but definitely felt like we needed to shower after we got home. You are able to sit next to the water, inside, or on their deck so lots of options, and parking is plenty since it's a part of a marina. Definitely a great spot and will be bringing friends here when they visit!

A few beers on tap. Only rose slushy has alcohol in it. Let the pizza for 60 seconds. I touched the pepperoni slice too soon and it turned to soup. Salad had a funky taste to it. For $5.50 a cheese slice, want some more cheese on it. Seat yourself and get super close to the Potomac free of charge at Daingerfield island park.

I opted for Vola's hot coffee, which just didn't taste very good, even when camouflaged with cream. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate fudge cake, vanilla bean trifle and Audrey's key lime pie. The chocolate fudge cake was very rich and very tasty. But even I, as a chocolate lover, would have preferred that the cake had come with some vanilla ice cream to balance things out. The key lime pie with Chantilly cream was good with a sharp lime flavor. I ordered the Vanilla Bean Trifle. This dessert came with a blackberry compote, Chantilly cream, whipped cream and a crispy thin butterscotch tuile wafer. The flavors in the trifle were great, but because the dessert was served at nearly room temperature, it wasn't very appealing. To be best enjoyed, this dessert should have been chilled.
