I've lived in this neighborhood for 25 years and this block has been pretty quiet with lots of closed stores. I'm glad to see a revival, starting with this studio. Parking is difficult at this location since there's no lot. Hopefully, they're able to finish the parking behind the stores soon. I scheduled a 30 minute intro class during their soft opening this weekend. I was the 1st client to show up lol. I met, Alex, the manager, and he was exicted for the grand opening. He was transparent about pricing and I appreciated that there was no pressure to sign up for a membership. The studio itself is really big and there are 12 reformers, each with an adjacent "playground". They're still putting finishing touches on everything, but all the equipment is shiny and new. Eleni was a great instructor and very patient. She made sure she knew what each student wanted to get out of the class and any physical limitations. The class was short but we still had a great workout! Wishing them much success!

Most important is the way I feel when I am there and the progress I am making. The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing and clean. The music is fun, and playlists are welcome. Jacob and Melissa create a warm, welcoming and fun environment that feels very inclusive. My experience with other customers, both male and female, has also been very positive. The gym attracts a supportive and friendly crowd. When I am there, I feel internally relaxed and I can focus on my workout. I have had many trainers over the years; personally, Melissa is by far the best trainer I have worked with. She is not only a certified trainer and yoga instructor; she has a degree in exercise science which is frequently demonstrated by her knowledge. I feel like I learn something new with every session. Her workouts are just the right amount of challenging. She ensures this by asking questions to assess and prevent injury. If I come in with pain, she has knowledge of how to release muscle tension using stretching exercises and equipment. Melissa really listens. This is so important to me. Another benefit is the delicious protein shakes at the end of each weight training session. Over the last year, I have attended yoga classes here, and have bought multiple personal training packages which, for me, included one to one yoga and one to one weight training and cardio. I have enjoyed all of it! I feel stronger and I am appreciating the changes in my body. If you like to take classes, one of the benefits of coming here is that the classes are small and intimate; so even though you are taking a class, you still get a lot of personal attention. On a Saturday afternoon at PF they were all in use.
