Tom reliably showed up to give an estimate for gutter work on the roof of my house. He gave a price…read moreof $5,000 to replace all gutters and guards, as well as to clean the downspouts. That seemed like a lot of money for a day's work, but I said 'So be it' to myself. He added that the price might be higher if he had to buy new wood and metal to do the job well. He then said that he would be 'hands-on' but, as soon as he dropped off his workers, he left the job and didn't come back. When he returned days later, he told me that I owed him another $2,200. When I balked at this, he got testy and, so, lowered the additional charge to $1,700 ('because I want to work for you again,' he said). I challenged him to itemize the extra costs. He said that the additional wood was $300 and the additional metal was $500. I asked what accounted for the other $900 that he was demanding. 'Additional labor costs,' was his answer. I pointed out that his initial price had to have included the laborers' pay for the day - and they finished the job before 5 pm. Tom started sulking; then he became irate: 'Just give me the $5,000 - forget the rest.' It was a good ploy. I felt sorry for him, so I wrote a check for $6,000 - not the $7,200 that he wanted nor the $6,700 that he then proffered as a compromise. A qualified professional, who knows my house, said that $5,000 for new gutters and general maintenance of the system was a very high but not completely unreasonable charge for the work. But Tom's demand for an additional $2,200, then $1,700, was, this professional said, outrageous: 'He saw that you willingly paid the $5,000, so he figured that he could extract another couple of thousand from you.' I liked Tom personally but regret paying him what I did. I urge, then, whomever might hire him to be strong in negotiating about the job - and not to give in to his emotional ploys to price gouge.

Last March 2024, during an especially windy day a country club's tree came down and whacked the rear of my house, starting from the highest roof, ripping down wires and landed on my detached garage where it sat until PECO could make it safe. I initially gave the go ahead for my insurer, who I'll call SF, to send out a contractor to assess the damage. Well someone came out, slapped a tarp on the hole in the garage, but seemed dismissive of the house damage. And then I heard nothing for the longest time. So, getting concerned I called Impriano to get their opinion, as is my right, since I had a good experience with them 13 years ago with a new roof. Jack Impriano came out and did a very thorough inspection finding a lot more damage than SF's contractor did, including a split rafter in the garage roof. He looked at the plan for repair that the adjuster had drawn up finding it completely inadequate, so he drew up his own. He basically worked directly with the adjuster, all while updating me about what was going on. There were many problems such as the SF contractor sending the wrong information to SF that led them to believe the work was complete when nothing was repaired. The contractors invoice included pictures that wasn't even my property. Jack Impriano handled everything, everything is repaired/replaced, their crew came out in the most inhospitable weather and did an excellent job. You could tell how well done my 13 year old roof was when shingles were removed. It's amazing how nice our new roof and siding looks. It's peace of mind working with a company that takes pride in their work, and there's good reason they've been around for so long. I didn't realize they also handle windows which is on my to do list. I don't think I would trust anyone else. Thank you Jack and Ed and the rest of your hard working crew, including the office, you guys were great, can't thank you enough.

He came out the next day, and replaced all of the gaskets around the roofing vents. He showed me a before and after picture of the gaskets. He surmised that a squirrel could have chewed into the gasket, trying to get into our house. I think that he is right, because other neighbors have squirrels in their attic. He is a nice guy, very professional, timely in his response and does not cost you an arm and a leg. I would hire him again in the future!

They were priced in the middle, but I could tell they had far more experience than the lesser option and it seemed like they would provide a professional and very clean look. The quote/proposal has a decent amount of information, I'd probably say a little better than the average of the 7 quotes so that's always a plus for the customer. Company representative was kind, responsive and helpful at the beginning however after providing the original proposal, additional documentation was offered to be provided to help with the process from the company/representative and for whatever reason that seemed to be the big issue. Each week for about a month, certain documentation which the representative voluntarily offered to provide was promised to be provided and each week it was never received and the same apology for being busy was given. It's understandable that people are busy/have outside factors going on in life but why promise to provide something and then give a reason to why it didn't happen for each week going on 3+ weeks. After checking in on the paperwork not being received and wondering when it's going to happen, the representative got very irritated along with some interesting words but basically said good luck and moved on. I'd say more but the representative seemed pretty unhinged so I'll leave it at that and let you decide for yourself. Can't speak for the type of work done, however the experience was strange but on the positive side the price was competitive for sure.

There were no harnesses, no railings, and nothing to protect people walking underneath or the cars parked below. Many of the times they came up and down the very tall ladder, no one was holding it. I sent a video to my friend who owns a construction company. His response was, "OMG that's insane". Someone could have been seriously injured. I do not blame the crew, ultimately, it's the company's job to enforce safety standards. Scary stuff.

I did and have not regretted it for a moment. They did a truly professional job then, and have continued making sure my roof is in top condition. I share a roof with my neighbor who had her side done several years before I moved in. She developed a leak. Because of the location, and wanting to maintain the look of a continuous roof line between our units, I had to replace a section of my roof too. To say they did a "seamless" job in every way would not be an exageration. They recently replaced my attic fan which apparently not be working properly for a while because the thermostate became faulty. Antonio came over. Was able to quickly diagnose the problem. They replaced the fan and thermostate. Antonio is a true professional and a very nice person. I would never let any other company even get up on my roof or work on any other part of my house either.
