    Shredded brake system
    Brayden M.

We were told to have an appointment at 12:00p.m. did not get greeted until after almost 2:00p.m. Worst place ever if I could leave zero star I would. Firstly they gave us a camper with a broken axel, Secondly a broken emergency brake almost blew the motor on my truck. Thirdly had to contact head administration because Colton, Justin, and Sarah ignored all my calls. Fourthly the water heater didn't work during walk through they were fixing it as we were leaving, also battery system is broken. Terrible customer service we were stranded all weekend in a Walmart parking lot. Watch out for these con artists they only care about sales nothing else. P.s. check your tires if you buy from them we got a spare turns out it was 20 years old and dry rotted.

I regret buying a camper from these people every single day. Although they might be good for financing with low credit, these are the most dishonest corn pone country barefoot hillbilly inept degenerates I have ever come in contact with. We were approved for a 6 year old camper and upon initial walkthrough we were told all the little things that needed repair would be fixed on pick up. It was not. When it came time to pick up everything appeared to work fine only to find out during a shock trip the refrigerator, hot water heater, and air conditioning were defective as well as some leaks in the plumbing system. When I attempted to express my disappointment I was sent a text telling me that they don't put up with disrespect. On the finance end as we struggle they continue to conjure up numbers for which they say we are behind yet we are not.

Day of pick up Jack is extremely bent and old propane tank was provided after they said I'd receive two new ones!

Do not buy from this dealer!!! They are frauds. Go check their Better Business complaints before you do business with them!!! Your $1000 deposit plus anything you put down regardless if you proceed with a purchase or not they WILL NOT give it back even if they damage the RV themselves after a deposit is made, not even return the down payment minus the deposit, but they blatantly lied about money being refunded if a purchase wasn't completed. I was told the down payment was refundable if the purchase wasn't completed. The deposit was non refundable but they damaged the RV after the deposit was made or didn't disclose the jack was damaged and the awning was broke (they will not fix an awning so I made sure to ask if the awning worked before I placed a deposit, and the sales person lied to my face and said it worked, Regan), so the deposit should have been returned on the basis that criminal fraud was committed by deception to sell a product. They intentionally hide damage and do not disclose known issues with the trailers. DO NOT trust anything the sales representative tells you verbally, get everything in writing!!!! Go through EVERYTHING on the RV you're looking at BEFORE you put a deposit down, I mean EVERYTHING slides, awning, pull out steps, step on every square inch of the floor to check for soft spots, open all the cabinets, check the tanks, check your lines, appliances etc. They are frauds. I have hired a lawyer to get my $3000 back they essentially stole from me, and have them investigated for criminal fraud. Attached picture of trailer note the bent jack that is hidden in one picture without the tanks (pictures the deposit was made based on) and the day of purchase after deposit and partial down payment it placed now visibly bent jack is out, and they refuse to refund my money but there were soooo many other issues asides the bent jack. When I returned to complete the purchase after I had already given them a sum of money $1000 for the deposit and $2000 toward the down payment, they were atrociously rude about $3.60 regarding the required 3 months RV insurance before you can take the RV off the lot when they made an error 3 months had been purchased as requested. The refused to give me the general managers name. I have attempted to contact the general manager 7 times now, in person as well as left messages, and he's unavailable. Two occasions I was hung up on as soon as I told them my name. Negative stars should be an option because it's not just a bad experience it's a scam by con artists when it looks like a legitimate dealership.

Called them on AUG 23RD and was told they blasted them and should be a few more weeks. Ok, no big deal I understand delays happen. Called again multiple times in mid/late Sept and got the same response. I'm starting to get a little frustrated at this point. Called again beginning of October and the same thing "the tech is measuring them and we should know in the next few days what pistons you need, I will call you once I know more". By now boating season is wrapping up. Finally said screw it and drove to the shop and picked them up OCT 24TH. During the span of 3 months, I never received 1 call about the status of the work, delays, or any info. Clearly my business is not important to them so I decided to take it elsewhere. I've been more than patient and understanding about the delays, but at a certain point I'm tired of being lied to. If you're a racer or have a trip or some sort of hard deadline you need a project finished by, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Also, in regards to the media blasting that they did do, I was told the coolant passages would be cleaned out and cylinder looking like new. Still lots of paint and corrosion everywhere on the cylinders and coolant passages. Lack of attention to detail and care for the customer. Will never do business with them and do not recommend.

REVIEW UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2019:…read more RV Depot's owner, Steve, took time to get on a call with us personally to discuss the issues mentioned below. One of the things touched on was his dedication to ensure training was provided to his staff to ensure they are not forcing or expecting a review prior to completion of paperwork, as that should never have been a requirement. Further, Steve provided for the cost of the damage part as well as shipping, fulfilling their responsibilities of the delivery of the Puma. REVIEW UPDATE: First, before we go into this update I want to make it very clear that we were advised multiple times we would not be able to complete the paperwork and, subsequently, take possession of our RV until we showed proof that we wrote this initial review found at the bottom of this page. Is it not a violation of Section 5 of the FTC Act to force reviews prior to receipt of product, as would that not be considered an "unfair or deceptive [act] or [practice] in or affecting commerce"? We complied to get the process over with, however we want to ensure other consumers are made aware of this behavior due to what we have to add now. We utilized the company's 30 day layaway option, during which the company showed very little interest in answering our questions over the phone regarding our travel trailer and pick up arrangements. Each conversation was met with condescension and a lackadaisical demeanor. For example, when arranging a time to pick up our trailer we had to explain multiple times that we must travel up I-35 as we are from out of town and we expect to run into construction which would delay our travel time. We set the expectation of a 2 hour arrival window. The representative from RV Depot could not accept that as an answer and proceeded to tell us that he would set us up for a 12pm appointment as their time was valuable and our sales person would be busy attempting to complete other sales. Once we got to the final day of pick-up, we were eager to take our RV home and, as such, were quick to disregard the hurried treatment we received through our walkthrough. During the walkthrough a bent-up, damaged floor vent cover in the living area of our Palomino Puma was found in the kitchenette; when we asked Alexis and the technician (who was there performing other minor maintenance) about this, we were reassured this was "an extra after repair," and to disregard it. While we continued inspection we were asked multiple times prior to being clearly done with our walkthrough if we were ready to finish paperwork. Being a used RV dealer, I would expect them to understand the importance of inspecting the product. Well, a few days after our arrival home we discovered the damaged floor vent cover belonged to the gaping hole of exposed ventilation in the flooring beneath the portable carpet that our recliners reside on. Once we discovered this, we immediately notified RV Depot with pictures, asking about getting this replaced (since it is still under its 6-month warranty). This was sent on 31 July. On 5 August I followed up again, receiving a reply simply asking we give them a call. After being unable to reach anyone via phone multiple times, I emailed them again on 8 August stating the same. Their reply was "My manager said that we wouldn't be able to ship you a new vent cover. They are very inexpensive and can be purchased online or at any place that sales rv parts or hvac parts." While this may be an inexpensive part, why are we expected to cover the cost of something not only under warranty, but also something the dealer lied to us about and that was not fully looked into when we first brought it to RV Depot's attention during our (rushed) walkthrough process? Unless you have no other option than to do business with this company - stay far, far away. Original coerced review: "Great purchasing experience - lucked out with a 2018, single-owner travel trailer!"
