I am beyond impressed with this company, the staff and the customer service. We were driving from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, had an issue with an axle on our RV trailer. They didn't have the part, but could order it and have it in three days. Not my favorite option but we're talking and axle. 10 minutes later they called me back. They had a used part that would work for my RV. I was thrilled as They were willing to do the work on Saturday. The price was very reasonable for the time and effort they put into our issue. Everyone was informative. They showed us the broken parts and gave us recourse to deal with the manufacturer of the parts, which broke on a one year old trailer with less than 2000 miles. This should not happen. They have lots of products in the retail store. There are plenty of beautiful RVs for sale as well. I wish we had purchased our RV here. I felt they had my best interest in mind not theirs. Give these people your business. You will not be disappointed. read more

I purchased a camper from RV Roadway about two months ago. Before signing, multiple employees--including the sales staff and lead manager--assured us that the camper came with a grill and that it would be inside when we picked it up. It was not. We also discovered that the power cable was missing and later found a leak in the wall. When we contacted RV Roadway, we were told to bring the camper back for repairs, despite explaining that it was already at the towing limit for our vehicle and would be placed permanently on a lot. We drove over an hour--twice--to pick up the promised grill, but it still was not available. A manager eventually said it would be mailed to us. More than a month later, another employee refused to mail it, saying shipping would cost too much, and promised it would be ready at the dealership on September 23, 2026. As of 2:45 p.m., no one had contacted us. The issue is not just the grill--it is the repeated promises, lack of follow-through, and dismissive customer service after the sale. I would not recommend RV Roadway based on this experience. read more

My family purchased two travel trailers from RV roadway. We also purchased the additional warranties which were a combined 12,000. Both units are having similar problems with plumbing. We were told the warranty claims were denied. They tried to charge an additional 2,000 dollars. I contacted Forest river and discovered that no warranty claims were even made. In fact they never registered either camper as being sold even after 11 months past purchase. My in laws camper went to the service department for a month to be washed and for a 42 point inspection. They picked it up and went straight to a campground and when they connected the water it was leaking all up under the camper. The service department takes your money but does none of the work requested. The extra warranties are a scam and are non existent. read more

I worked with Tyler. I am very impressed. He is very knowledgeable. I will definitely be recommending my friends.

I was really impressed with their customer service! They worked with me to order parts 4wks before I was due to arrive because of the shipping delays. Shawn was in communication with me the whole time regarding the body repair to my RV. I had a couple other small issues to fix as well and they were done in a timely manner. I am new to the RV world so I always had questions and Joe was great to answer them in a way I understood. read more

Monday - August 9, 2021 4:10pm - 4:40pm Stopped in to check out some RV's we were interested in. Looked at quite a few but narrowed it down to the Forest River Surveyor 202RBLE and the Forest River Mini Lite 2205S. Thanks Wayne, for helping us narrow down our interest in our RV search. read more

Took my trailer in for propane service. The trailer was damaged on the lot while they were working on it. They went ahead and did the repairs themselves and didn't tell me about any of it until I called to ask what was taking so long. I would have preferred to be informed so I could talk it over with my insurance underwriter and chose who would perform the repairs myself. read more

We were traveling and had an incident with our stabilizer jacks. We called RV Roadway Sales and Service and they made room to see us the same day. When we got there they took a look at and said it would be a quick fix and didn't charge us anything. So amazing when you find such great customer service. We will definitely bring our business back to RV Roadway Sales and Service. read more

They have the worst service department ever. I bought the RV from them and I believe it has spent more time in there parking lot than anywhere else. The first time it was because of the floor that they lied about and tried not to fix. It only took them 4 months to fix that. Now, I tried them one more time because of a tree limb fell on the roof. My insurance company has been contacting them since July about getting them a quote. Well, they get them a quote and its wrong. They approved most of it and ask for changes. Well it is now November and no one will fix the quote. I have called at least one a week since July asking where it is at and has anything been done. They promised me back in August that the parts are sitting and waiting to be put on and fixed when everyone approves the quote. Well again, it is November and no parts are there and No quote has been sent in and approved. DO NOT USE THIS Company! Check the BBC reports as well on them. I hate writing about small business, but, so far it has been 4 months and the owner refuses to call me. All I am being told is it is in the owners hands. He is supposed to be handling it, and still he won't respond to anyone. I will be picking it up and taking to someone else. read more

Trailer damaged on lot, repairs partially or not made at all, had decals that were part of repair ordered for 2 years. Spoke with a different person almost every time I called. I liked the service manager and up until today, everyone was extremely nice....they were trying. Today I had a very rude young lady raise her voice, thought slightly, and continually talk over me. I asked her to stop doing that and she said I had an attitude. Yes I'm aggravated, 2 years to get decals and no one one let me know they arrived. The time before this they had it on their lot 6 months. Now they say there is no record of them repairing my A/C so they have NOT worked on it. I told her to just mail my decals to me. read more

Had a great experience purchasing the camper. But they lied about the factory warranty and the Extended warranty I purchased. Now I have a camper that is a year old that they will not warranty. I have a soft spot in the floor that they say the factory and extended warranty will not fix. Great for the sales part, but the person selling the extended warranty and the Service part i don't recommend. read more

The service department was top notch! Our camper AC was fried and they replaced it with in two hours and we did not have an appointment!!!! Thank you all very much for your friendly and helpful service! They even said we just want you to enjoy your vacation. read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER!!!!! They have refused to pay off the camper I traded back in early January 2020. 3 months later, I'm still making payments and carrying insurance on a camper that they have not paid off. In addition, they've somehow managed to resell my old camper without a clear title which is clearly illegal. It's unfortunate that Mr. David Shannarah (owner) has no integrity whatsoever as he refuses to speak to me or any of the others who he's doing this to as I am not the only one who has this issue currently or in the recent past. (see other google reviews detailing the same issue). I have now been forced to have my attorney begin legal proceedings against RV Roadway and will also be notifying the Alabama Attorney Generals office as to his illegal business practices. It's too bad for his staff as they have all been as honest as they have dared and some of his staff has recently resigned and gone elsewhere and more of told me directly that they are looking elsewhere for employment because their owner isn't "manning up" and dealing with these issues directly and forces them to deal with unruly customers who are in the same situation as me. Be very careful when dealing with this company because of the owner and at NO time should you consider trading in anything because he will do the same thing to you as he's done to many others. read more

Very poor dealership. After the sale I could not get sales or general manager to follow up with me on issues I was having. My door needed replacing because it was warped and their tech completely botched the install. Warped the doorframe, it is still not right after three trips in to get it fixed. Finally ended up contacting the manufacturer directly for resolution. read more

Sold us a $44,000 RV on 1/12/15 and we paid an additional $2,200 for shipping to California. We discovered the RV had undisclosed frame and body damage which is estimated to cost $3,500-$5,000 to repair. Dealer refused to make any attempts to resolve issues. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, complete fraud!!! read more

This week we purchased a new Vibe Travel Trailer from RV Roadway. It took us three years, visits to several RV Shows, visits to every RV Dealer from Huntsville to Montgomery, Tuscaloosa to Anniston Alabama. Why RV Roadway? Their pricing was in line with everyone else, a little less than some a little higher than others. Our Sales person, Jody Glass gave us all the attention we needed over several visits. She was knowledgeable about the product line answered our questions, and never did we feel we were being pressured or steered in any direction. She let us decide for ourselves what we liked/did not like. When time came to talk money, we found RV Roadway did not tack on a pile of fees and other charges. No set up fees, no technician check out fees, etc. The staff at RV Roadway took the time to walk us through the unit to explain how everything worked. They then assembled and attached the weight distribution hitch I had purchased from another source without extra costs. read more

We purchased our new 2019 Alpine in September from RV Roadway. We searched for over a year for the perfect RV that was fairly priced. We found the exact same rig closer to us however, that dealer had an atrocious mark up and refused to budge on the price. We contacted RV Roadway because their pricing was very reasonable. After working with Kim over the phone and getting a final price, my husband flew down to Alabama from Washington to perform the PDI before purchase. The service department had everything hooked up and was extremely helpful as my husband spent a full day going through every component on the RV. Drew in service was knowledgeable and went above and beyond that day. Kristine did a wonderful job cleaning the RV and checking in with my husband throughout the day. My husband provided them with a list and pictures of items that needed to be fixed before our return in 3 weeks to finalize the purchase paperwork. There was a little bit of a communication error at this point between the sales department and service and several of the items on our list were not completed upon our return. However, the all of gentlemen in the service department worked non stop and were able to get the items completed so we could still head out on schedule. We have not had any problems with any of the items that RV Roadway fixed for us and our RV has been amazing! Because of their thoroughness fixing the items on our PDI list we are able to enjoy ourselves and not worry about our rig spending weeks in the shop for repairs. Everyone from sales, to service, to finance were kind and helpful, and went above and beyond helping us with our new RV. We will definitely work with RV Roadway again! read more

We had a great experience buying a camper from RV Roadway. Lee was well educated about the campers he showed us, not pushy, and patient. He even showed us campers in the dark after closing time. The price point was great on the camper we purchased. They didn't add a pile of fees when we sat down to finalize the deal. During our first trip with the camper, we had normal "break in period" issues. We called the dealer and a technician walked us through different tricks to resolve the issue. We were unable to resolve the issue so they let us drop off our camper the next business day. Mark and the other technicians were great and fixed our issues in 2 to 3 weeks. I would highly recommend this dealer. read more

I would post a zero if I could. Not only does this company not help you after you purchase a new camper from them, they refuse to stand behind what they sale. They sold us a brand new camper with tires that were four years old and the tire blew out and damaged the camper. RV roadway won't even call you back. They kept the camper for 7 weeks and did absolutely nothing. Each time they would say they were going to get back with us. The ac is not right but we are stuck with a camper that has damage, old tires and an ac that won't cool. Please don't buy from them. read more

Our salesperson Gary was wonderful. No pressure and took lots of time with us. We left after the first day and he just thanked us for stopping by. We never told him we would be back but after thinking about it over night and having been to many other dealerships in the last 6 months we decided to go back the next day and make the purchase based on the service we received from Gary. Also we knew this was the rv we were planning in buying. Now the bad part...the after sales service. Here's a word of warning if you are out of state. Their process is very disorganized and lacks clear follow up. First of all they sent the wrong amount to our tax department where we live. They sent too much and my tax commissioner won't give a refund so they had to send the check back to the rv dealership. By this time we had the new rv 5 weeks. This had also required my calling the rv dealership multiple times to find out what was going on. Many times they never returned my call. My understanding is that they use an existing process to calculate out of state taxes. Maybe a better way is to call the tax commissioner directly and get the correct amount in the first place. Just a suggestion. Finally after many frustrating calls the correct check was sent and we got our tags nearly 2 months after our purchase. I was going to let it drop and not write a review but remember we overpaid our taxes, right? Which means the dealership owes us $90. You don't think they sent that out? Nope, another call and no surprise here they didn't even realize they owed us that money. Again buyer be warned. read more

If you like buying RV's that seem like a good deal only to find out they have severe water damage that was covered up nicely and not disclosed, this is the place. If you like buying a $50,000 RV that is deemed uninhabitable due to mold and have the place of purchase wash their hands of it and force you to seek legal remedies, this is the place. read more

We purchased a Class A motorhome from RV Roadway on consignment December 2016. The unit was thoroughly inspected by the dealer. Joe the mechanic personally took me through the entire unit so I understood every option before taking delivery this month. Taylor and Scott were very helpful answering every question; thus making my decision to purchase easy. Jordan, finance, made all the paperwork effortless. My family and I couldn't be happier with the service and genuine hospitality of RV Roadway. read more
