The absolute best shop in town. The two brothers that own this business are the nicest most honest operators I have ever met, and I worked locally in the industry for 10 years. You walk in and they remember your name and vehicle. The decline work if it's not needed (I often ask if my car is ready for a rotation or alignment and they will let me know if it isn't necessary). I'll just state the facts. Brought my car in first thing in the morning because it was making a roaring sound after 35mph. RVA called me at the end of the day and told me both front wheel hubs were shot. Repair would be $951 to replace both hubs. I told them I can't afford it so can they just tally up the bill and I'll pick the car up tomorrow. They charged $82 for the test drive. Brought the car to a repair shop close by the next day. They said one hub on driver side was bad. The new shop charged me $244 and the car now runs fine. read more

Great service. I came in for my state inspection during lunchtime on a week day and was in and out super fast! I had told my boyfriend (who came with me) that I didn't understand how they could've changed the oil that fast and he told me that they don't change your oil during a state inspection. Don't ask me why but I just assumed that if my oil light was on during a state inspection they'd have to change the oil. So I asked the guys if they could also change my oil. Instead of being upset that I didn't tell them that before they worked on my car they just told me I'd have to wait a little longer but they'd get it done. Once again they got me in and out as fast as you can do for an oil change. Boyfriend and I both checked and they didn't try and overcharge me for anything which is always nice to see as a woman who doesn't really understand cars (my boyfriend; however, is a huge car person) read more

I never go anywhere else. Every time i go to a mechanic i get ripped off and they charge up the wazoo for parts that don't really need fixed. This is the first shop I have ever went to that didn't try to look for any and every reason to charge me more. They are super honest and will take you back to look at your car to help you understand what they are talking about. Relocated to the area not long ago and needed a honest, reliable, and most importantly..competent...automotive repair shop to handle my needs. Took a chance on this new shop not far from my home and glad I did. Owners are very courteous, honest, and forthcoming and knowledgeable. They accurately diagnosed the issue with my cooling system, explained exactly how they were going to fix the issue and explained in detail the very fair cost associated with the repair. Car was ready on time, washed, and fully repaired. Returned the old parts to me and explained what had failed. Labor rates are very fair and price they charge for the quality parts are more than reasonable. Glad I found a place that I can return to for honest automotive repair when needed. Ken and Kevin are really good guys. I brought my car in because my fuel gauge was not reading correctly. Had them diagnose it and worked with the dealer that I bought my car from 30 days prior and ended up not having to pay for any of it. Ken informed me it would take a few hours to fix so we can schedule a day that I can drop it off. So I brought in a week later on Wednesday night so they'd have it right away in the morning of Thursday. (Thinking they won't need more than a full day). I call them at around that night to see how the repair is going and Ken informs me that they took everything apart to confirm that it needs replacing (the fuel pump) and they ordered the new part and would have my car back together by the lastest, Saturday. Friday rolls around and I call them again and ask how it's going. They then tell me that they ordered the part but the dealership they ordered the fuel pump from forgot to put it on the tfedex truck. So currently I am out of a vehicle going on 3 days since they had to put my car back together so I could use it over the weekend to and from work. Monday rolls around and they tell me the part is in. I tell them I'll drop it off on Thursday since I was going to be out of town until Sunday. Though my plans changed and now need my car back. I have been without a car for almost 7 days total. They have only called me to let me know that the part was in, never let me know when it's going to be done nor did they offer (neither did the dealership) to give me a rental car to use while I currently being inconvenienced out of a car for more than a day or two. It's been very frustrating from the beginning since they had an entire week prior to the first time I dropped off my car to order the part they needed and am currently still waiting on a call from them or an apology for taking so damn long. read more
