The worst eye doctor experience I've ever had at this place. Wanted me to do exams out of my insurance and tried to upcharge hundreds of dollars for glasses without explaining things or anything making it seem like I didn't have a choice. The doctor wasn't very welcoming either. After having a great experience at a new eye doctor, my awful experience at this place has been on my mind. read more

Purchased a pair of safety glasses and they were too tight. The lady pretty much told me there was nothing they could do about it. I asked about a refund and she said they don't have a refund policy.. waste of money. read more

I was charged $275.40 for lenses I didn't even ask for. Sandchel told me "we can't very well send them back". Bullshit. Never again.

The gals that work here know how to fix glasses and they will fix your glasses even if you bought them somewhere else, the eye doctor there you can trust and he will be there next time you need glasses too! I bought a pair of frames here, after getting my eye exam. The glasses hurt my nose, and left a greenish brown mark on my house for several days after wearing the glasses. When I went to the store to tell them, they said there is nothing that they can do, because insurance already paid RX Optical. To make matters worse I turned in my old frames which were $300 frames as a donation to the Lions Club. Now I cannot get back my original frames, and I cannot wear the ones that I have. Very upset. I put a call into corporate to place a complaint. I should be able to have a pair of glasses that are comfortable, that do not discolor my nose. read more

Personally i had a good appt there the gal that scheduled my appt was super nice and helpful i had made a appt for my roommate and she ended up not going even so i was treated promptly and informative the Dr actually took the time to get my lenses right and i thank him and all his staff Ill be back read more

Stopped in today to have them look at my glasses which were falling off my face because the ear pieces were very loose. The first woman greeted me and said she would help me as soon as she could. No problem, so I looked around. A second girl asked what she could do to help me, I showed her my glasses, bought the frames elsewhere but had my prescription filled there.. She took them to the back and came back promptly and said she could not help me. The frame was titanium and could not be tightened. She also claimed that the ear pieces could not be bent she tried to hear them and they would not bend. Well in the amount of time she was gone there is no way she could have tried to heat the glasses or worked on anything else. So when I got home and put on a different pair of glasses, I saw that the screws looked loose....got out a screwdriver and fixed then myself.....I will not be making any other purchases there!!!!! Too bad because there were some frames I liked. If I could I'd give them a big zero!!!!!!!! Great customer service!!!!!!! Not!!!!! read more

I had an appointment scheduled and I was running less than ten minutes late due to a meeting that went longer than planned. As I was on my way to the appointment I called RX Optical to inform them that I would be there a few minutes late. The receptionist that I spoke to was very rude and informed me that there was another appointment scheduled :15 after mine. Not sure how you can complete an eye exam in less than :15 minutes. I decided to take my business elsewhere. I guess that they have never been a few minutes late for an appointment. read more
