There is equipment the surgeon can have ready to deal with a floppy iris, but, as Bolling himself said, it isn't cost effective. So disregard claims of "state of the art" equipment. Furthermore, at my day after surgery appointment Bolling's first words were, "You're right on target." It was only after I said I couldn't see much with my right eye that he explained the floppy iris. Bolling then told me that he could perform laser surgery to "clean up" what he was unable to finish in the original surgery. I paid $268 out of pocket (and I suppose my insurance paid a lot more) but the laser surgery did no good. He then explained that when I got my glasses it would be much better. And, he would give them to me at his cost. I still had to pay $348 out of pocket and the glasses do no good. I have a cataract in my left eye but Bolling will not touch it.

Apparently the lab lost the frames. I could forgive that but when I called to check the status they promised 3x to call me back and didn't. On a bright note, the receptionist is amazing. Never got any real answers ranging from "they are in production" to "honestly I can't tell you where they are". June 4, 2026 I stopped in just to see a sign that read permanently closed and here's the number to call. I called the number. They will put you on hold for 5-10 minutes before telling you they will call you back. They never call. I emailed them and did get a very unsatisfactory answer that I'm not allowed to cancel nor can I do anything about my situation regarding the time frame because they have had problems. Excuse me?? My problem is I've paid in full and was strung along for months when behind the scenes they were falling apart. Then after over 4 months I still can't see and no one gives a crap cuz they closed the retail locations. Shame on US Vision for hanging all their customers who had pending orders out to dry and Sierra at the store for not disclosing that information when I would inquire. She knew. You all knew. I still am waiting with all subsequent emails going unanswered. I called the 800# again and the message is "all eyewear will be shipped in 2 weeks". Mailing to my house. No optician to check the lenses and do a fitting. I was told in the only email I received that I could return them after receiving them but I couldn't cancel and get my money refunded. Return them? To where? You all suck and get ZERO stars!!! I will never trust any retail eyewear store again. Worst experience ever!

So girl that works there took a guess at the correction and sent them in to be "corrected ". Fourth trip up to get them again a week later still not back from lab. So a month and four trips and Still do not have any glasses. What a huge waste of time and money. I have never in my 60 years had such a bad experience getting glasses.Worst experience in 60 years of getting glasses. Update: I've waited another 2 weeks and still no glasses. I writing representing my mom's experience (she's 90). She had been complaining of blurred visions…read morefor several months. Made sure it wasn't anything more serious by having CT and MRI. Saw doctor in april and got new lenses for her. When picking up the glassses with the new lenses I was ignored for almost 20 min. This was in the Elkhart office. Still complained of blurry vision. Saw a different doctor in June and he said prescription was wrong! In the mean time she had broken her glasses so she had to get new frames(over priced of course). Was told it would be 3-4 weeks. I called several times asking when they would be available...no responses back. Finally 7 weeks later they arrived and expedited with the help of Melissa and Dee (bright lights in this ordeal). Now the doctors are saying the incorrect script was because of dry eye. My main complaint is lack of communication and the stress we've been under with an incorrect script and no apology or explanation on the delay of the new glasses. Also, the last doctor was clearly unhappy with having to see us again as I insisted on verifying the script he gave my mom before we left the office. I've been playing phone tag with a manager named Ashley...no luck in connecting. In all of our visits, the tech people and front desk staff were very good.
