This is hands-down my favorite restaurant in BCS. Moving to BCS from a larger city, I wanted to find a place without a basic b***h ambiance, clientele, menu, and employees. I found it at RX Pizza. This is a place where everyone can feel welcome. My husband and I come here every Friday, and though it's busy there are never extreme wait times for tables. Usually there is plenty of space at the bar, and the bartenders are attentive and provide great customer service. We always order the bread and olive oil, even when it's just the two of us. It is pizza dough cooked in the oven naked and served with a garlic olive oil. For $3 this is a must-order. Our favorite pizza is the Popeye: mozzarella, garlic oil, spinach, prosciutto, goat cheese. They serve high quality ingredients, none of that flavorless prosciutto here. We have also tried the WoRx and Rosie and liked them a lot. The side salad is large and delicious with Caesar dressing. Rx Pizza has a great selection of beers on tap, many of them local. Please please always keep The Republic Sour on tap, it is soooooo good. I also like the spirits menu, the Honeysuckle Spritz is a favorite, and the honeysuckle liqueur is only available in Texas. I also like the Penicillin, but I'm a fan of mixed scotch drinks and smokiness. Do yourself and favor and eat at Rx Pizza! read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars easily. The food was amazing, the texas tots were absolutely on point. We got the bordertown, sith lord, and the urban cowboy. The chicken was delicious on the sith lord and the steak was cooked to perfection and was super tender on the urban cowboy. First time here and really enjoyed this place! This was a cute little pizza place to eat at for lunch in downtown. Our waitress was so nice, and constantly made sure our table was doing well. My friends had a mix up with their order so they offered them the mistake pizza for no charge to take home which was very kind. I made my own pizza with jalapenos and pepperoni and the quality was very fresh and delicious! The portions are a nice serving for if you want something more personal size or shareable. The menu lets you pick something pre-made but you can also create something of your choosing! The one thing I was sad about was there were no pineapples! I love pineapple on my pizza! Pizza is good here, no doubt, but it's also a go-to bar. The White Linen is outstanding and the frozen Painkiller is very good at its job. The frozen margarita is OK, but the default is with salt, which is disgusting, and they don't ask,so be aware. read more

The location is great. Beautiful downtown. We were seated in the back. Excited about their beer on tap, I asked the waitress what they had. She stone cold said, "I don't know. If you want you can walk up to the bar and look at the list. You can even see percentages and stuff." Not good service. We ordered two appies, the mozzarella sticks and the bread with oil. The bread is excellent with the garlic infused oil. The mozzarella sticks I ordered because another poster said they were the best they've ever had. But ours came out not hot but warm, so the mozzarella was not stringy but I guess. We ordered two pizzas and one came out great and the other was burned one one side and raw on the other. So hit or miss. If the food is cooked right it's on point, but I guess you will take your chance. I also didn't appreciate the beer thing. As a "BIB" (born in Bryan!) I always love when I I'm introduced to new and fabulous food locations. This one was recommended to me by a former Marine who I took for his birthday lunch! I am regularly next door at Brazos valley glassworks as that is one of my hobbies in my retirement. The last time that I walked in this location it was an antique store I believe? Now it is a very modern and welcoming Pizza place. Understand that I am definitely a foodie and I am difficult to please because I am also a true carnivore! they put together one of the most over-the-top pizzas that I have had in a very long time. It was difficult to even share because I wanted to stuff it all in my mouth at once. On top of that the service was top-notch and our server regularly checked in with us. Went in on a Saturday around 6pm. Place was full, but service was quick and friendly. Boyfriend and I ordered a 14" pepperoni pizza with a Moscow mule. Pizza was $10.40 and mule was $8. Both were very tasty. The pepperoni were crispy and the cheese was different from other places(not a bad thing), but the flavor was delicious. Recommend it. Only bad thing was the noise level, but understandable for a pizza joint on a Saturday night. EDIT: Changing from 4 to 5 stars. This place has legit, good pizza. I popped in here this evening with the wife and kids in tow. The hostess sat us promptly, the waitress was friendly, and the food came out quick by pizza standards. Everything you would expect from a Pizza & Bar was in check. The food was delicious. We had a "Greenhouse" and "Fried Mozzarella." I was excited to see that they had an actual fired pizza oven. I ordered the lunch special. One topping pizza (my topping was extra cheese.) Dissapointing, as the cheese did not even cover the pizza. Crust was thick and undercooked. My side 'salad' consisted of lettuce and croutons. Most salads usually contain more than lettuce in my opinion. My lunch mate did say that the steak on his pizza was very good, though. I, myself will not be back. He only ate the steak and cheese, so I doubt he will be returning eithet. read more
