So, I YELPED through the Glassboro reviews while also taking into consideration of my location and Filippo's was the answer. They have a nice big parking lot and a very small dining area that I wouldn't really recommend choosing for a dinner night out on the town. I didn't glance at the menu ... I was in a rush so I looked at the pizza's in the window pointing to one then another. Yes, I would like the pepperoni. The young lady was very pleasant ... told me it would just be a minute or two (Nice service but I have had pizza before and already knew it wouldn't take long. (See why I was here in the review.)). The price was VERY CONSUMER FRIENDLY!!! I was very happy. Now the one slice was CHICKEN BARBECUE ... it tasted sort of funny. Not very chickeny and the BBQ sauce well ... if lived in the area I wouldn't order it ever again. It's actually impossible to describe the other slice that supposedly had pepperoni on it. It tasted better than the Chicken BBQ ... a nice cheesy texture but the pepperoni melted away there was no texture to the meat but I tasted it. I think I liked it ... if you know that feeling when you eat something that you can't identify and the basil and colors had eye appeal. So points for the service including the speed of getting me in and out. Points for the price that really made me smile. But I came for the pizza ... for my dinner ... in the car type of dinner ... and well ... nah, I won't go back if I am in Glassboro again without enough time for a sit down meal and wanting to eat something quick that is not fast food and I think pizza ... I'll go somewhere else.

You will love their pizza because I eat A LOT of pizza and there is now room in my heart (and stomach) for yet another delicious pizza place. I grew up in this area; I have driven past Filippo's a million times and never stopped. The reason for this: I am an idiot. I have missed out on eating so many great pizzas from this place. Sorry! I will never forsake you again, Filippo's! Once pizza goes in the box, it is never the same. To combat this, we call ahead and order our pizza for eat-in. Smart right? So nice to sit down and enjoy a hot pizza right out of the oven. Check out their menu online or better yet: just go there and look at what they offer. They have pizza any way you want it plus a lot of gourmet specialty pies. I don't know who thought of all of them but they are pizza-angels and I am grateful. Naturally, they have other things on the menu besides pizza. I would like to try everything, please. The folks who take your order either in person or on the phone are very pleasant. When we dine-in, the server is always friendly and the service across the board is prompt. Don't be foolish like I was - go patronize this local pizzeria as soon as possible.

Everything is housemade here. That's what drew me in for a meatball parm, which was very good. The hot roast pork is delicious. The Italian hoagie had me taking an afternoon nap and smiling through it after eating it... But their hot roast beef is melt in your mouth amazingly good. I have never had a roast beef sandwich this good before... Do not choose what to have in the order I did. I could kick myself for not having the roast beef a long time ago.

It didn't have the amount of meat I saw in the advertisements , as well as the cheesesteak , both were a little short , but that said it was still really good. Just not sure what happened to those but the pork was super delicious and will definitely make a trip for that if I'm in the mood for Pork Sammy the service was excellent, really friendly staff and young lady at the counter was just a breath of fresh air! This place is definitely one on my radar whenever I'm working within 10 miles of this place because it definitely worth a trip !

Apparently, they go through 15 gallons of it every week. More on that in a minute. I took my cheesesteak over to Death of the Fox Brewery. Why? Because the two breweries that were closer happened to be closed. Their loss, my gain. I love Death of the Fox, but that's a story for a separate review. First, I sampled the meat, cheese, and onions by themselves. Pretty darn tasty. Next, I tried a bite on the toasted garlic roll. Very pretty darn tasty. Then I added the habanero sauce. Now we're talking. Very, very pretty darn tasty. If you've followed my cheesesteak adventures for any length of time, you know I'm not exactly a hot sauce guy. I was expecting some serious heat, but I'd describe this as more of a sweet habanero with a pleasant kick. Best of all, I suffered no repercussions afterward--a minor miracle. The cheesesteak was excellent, the garlic roll added another layer of flavor, and the habanero sauce tied everything together. Honestly, I'm surprised Whit or Whitout doesn't get mentioned more often on social media. They deserve a lot more attention. Decor was all Philly!!

I said "Delivery Please" Placed a my order for a (superb) Chessesteak Stomboili.. Gave him my full address and phone # and exactly what modifications I wanted.. My guy proceeded tell me it would be "there in 25 minutes" and almost hung up the phone.. I had to catch his attention to tell him I wanted to pay credit card because he didn't even bother to ask me if I was paying cash/card... An hour later our food still wasn't here (usually prompt), I decided to call restaurant for an update.. The" owners" son answered my call and he proceeded to tell me that my order was for "pick up" and that my foood that was ordered/paid for was sitting in the restaurant waiting for me to pick it up.. Then he continued to tell me l was in the wrong.. So if my order was for pick up why the hell did you ask me for my delivery address?! And why did I have to ask pay YOU to pay with CC?! What a shame because this place always has the best Stromboli in SJ.. There jerks didn't even ask to make it right all I got was blame and deflection.. Had to have my fiancee call back for a full refund on our order and they told her 7-10 business days.. NEVER again! Long story short I'm fricken PISSEĎ! Save yourselves the trouble and don't bother.. What a shame!

Now that they offer delivery ( where have we been?!?) we decided to try them again. We ordered a personal white pizza with broccoli and ricotta, a large sausage pizza, and volcano fries. The personal pizza was so much bigger than we expected. I love crust that is just a little crispy, not too thin, but not too thick, and it was exactly that. I tried the sausage pizza, and even though that usually isn't my choice, I loved that too. The sausage is shredded, so if that's your thing, you'll love it. The fries are your fry shape - in between a shoestring and steak fry- and had cheese whiz, bacon, jalapeños, and mozzarella cheese. They were exactly as expected, but I had no intention of eating them and I couldn't resist. I definitely plan on ordering from Anthony's again!

I got the Bro Burger and it was only $6 so I added fries for $5. The burger was fresh and delicious - served with burger sauce, pickles and fried onions on a brioche bun. The fries were tasty and portioned well for the price. My only complaint is that they were cold. That kind of ruins the taste. Cold fries are a no! Service was quick and friendly. The young lady explained the menu to me which helped me to decide. I did feel bad for her because it was pretty cold inside! Might explain the cold fries. I will definitely try SmashBros again but when it's a little warmer outside. We DoorDashed from SmashBros and everything hit the mark. The food came fast, hot, and wrapped up nicely. The fries were golden, crispy, and generously portioned. The cheesesteaks were packed, mine had fried onions and Cooper sharp, no extras needed. The chicken cheesesteak had both big and shredded chunks, also on a seeded roll that wasn't overdone. Great quality, great flavor. Definitely ordering again. I went to one and the chicken cheesesteak tasted like wet dog food. The cheese was so runny it was practically sauce. & it was $16.50. I got violently ill after eating a burger from here. Apparently I am not the only one who has become sick either. they are not storing the meat at proper temps or cleaning their hands properly. I'm surprised they are still operating under these condition, unless you want to be throwing your guts up I do not recommend! Great food! The loaded fries were along with the burgers. Need to come back and try the wings!
