Tough branches

I thought it was a good attempt at making a chicken cutlet sandwich with provolone and broccoli Rab if you don't cook the broccoli properly, you can't eat it if you're gonna put the branches in you have to cut them long ways blanch first and then sauté in garlic and olive oil. I'm not gonna say I'm not gonna come back, but with all the competition popping up in the area I'd pay attention to the details. Also if you're going to say sharp provolone then I would use real sharp provolone. Your charging $16 bucks Can't rest on your laurels

Stopped in to get a bite to eat and give another try. Super friendly staff as always. Indoor and outdoor seating. We got some of the cheesesteaks and onion rings. Good onion rings with great dipping sauce. Cheesesteaks are huge. Wish these places had a half size option. They were both good. The rolls are very good!

Different cheesesteak #1129 in the last five years. Very good cheesesteak but much better customer experience. I got to Ry and Howies at closing time. The door was locked. A young woman inside saw me and ran, yes ran, to the door. She opened it and said, 'I am sorry but we are out of hoagie meat and only have seeded rolls.' I said, 'Perfect, I want a cheesesteak on a seeded roll.' She said, 'come on in.' And they have parking and bathrooms. Super duper bonus; $13.99!! The cheesesteak; It will be in this year's March cheesesteak Madness. Thank you Ry and Howie for restoring my faith in humanity!!

Third time's a charm!! After two unsuccessful visits (to no fault of their own - busy from great reviews and me waiting too long to place my orders) my third visit was well worth the wait! I've tried 4 sandwiches after hearing great things about each one: Old World Italian, Cheese Steak, Roast Pork, Chicken Cutlet and they were all great! First off, bread often makes or breaks a sandwich for me and the bread Ry & Howie's used is top notch. The pictures associated with my review are all the regular sized sandwiches and as you can see they're very large. The Old World Italian was the best Italian Sub I've ever had and my personal favorite of the four. Meats overflowing and draped over the sides of the sub. Not dry but easy to eat and not sloppy or soggy. The cheese steak is stuffed with fresh sliced ribeye and loaded with melted, gooey American cheese. I'm a big fan of the sharp provolone they use for their Italian sub, chicken cutlet, and roast pork sandwiches. The broccoli rabe on the cutlet and roast pork was cooked perfectly and added a great, slightly bitter and garlicky flavor as well as great texture. The chicken cutlet is house made, fresh, and provided great crunch. It's not overly big inside but does have seating for customers. I would suggest calling in your order ahead of time and don't be like me by waiting until later to place your order. I feel lucky that Medford is becoming a place many new businesses are opening up and Ry & Howie's is going to do great here. I haven't been able to stop thinking about their Old World Italian and will be back to have another one soon.

Stopped by Ry & Howie's Steaks and Hoagies after visiting our grandson, me and the wife split this stupendous #meatmissile cooked wonderfully. Very cheesy and well seasoned very good size as well. The roll was soft but perfect and held up all the way through. Lots of perfectly diced onions slightly sweet beauties. Also split the housemade chicken tenders and loved them just as much. Great crispy exterior and still juicy inside. Well seasoned batter and very large for the price it was a bargain. Thankfully its very close to our kids place and will for surely be back very soon. Plus the hours are great and the staff was wonderful.

Our first visit to Ry and Howies and was very impressed by the portions and quality of the steaks! They were loaded with meat. The steak fries tasted like boardwalk fries which was great. The restaurant was impeccably clean and we were welcomed by the friendly staff immediately upon entering. It's clear this staff is passionate about making great food. Fully recommend a visit!

You can tell these guys love what they're doing. Service: greeted promptly with a smile. Great attitude. Very helpful. It was pretty empty when I came in at 12pm in a Wednesday. Got my food in about 5 minutes. Ambiance: simple, clean. Food: I ordered the pork sandwich. This thing came stuffed! They're not skimping on the filling, and came with juice on the side. Pork was nice and tender. Broccoli Rabe was perfectly cooked. Great Seeded roll. Long hots were just right. Awesome sandwich. Will definitely be back. Well done guys!

Onion rings were perfect.

Although I didn't get a cheesesteak, everything we had was delicious. Good quality ingredients and the rolls were perfect for the sandwiches and burger. Onion rings were on point. Cashier was friendly.

No surprises there. That said, this location is noticeably nicer than the average one. The building itself is well maintained, clean, and just feels more put-together than many others. During the Christmas season, they really go all out with decorations and lights, which is a surprisingly nice touch and gives the place a bit of personality you don't usually associate with fast food. The exterior is always kept looking sharp, and whoever handles the landscaping deserves some credit--it's consistently neat and well cared for, which definitely adds to the overall impression before you even walk inside. Inside, things continue to be pretty pleasant. The dining area is clean, orderly, and comfortable enough for a quick sit-down meal. The staff is generally friendly and efficient, and interactions are usually smooth and hassle-free. The drive-thru setup is nice in theory, with two lanes, but somehow it still manages to back up more often than you'd expect. Ordering is fine if you're grabbing one or two items, but once an order gets more complicated--say, three meals or more--things can slow down noticeably. And definitely check your bag before you leave, as missing items seem to happen more often than not. One consistent issue worth mentioning: the sauce situation. If you order nuggets, be prepared to ration. Getting four sauces with a 40-piece nugget order feels a bit stingy, and it happens regularly. It's a small thing, but it's noticeable--especially when you're clearly feeding more than one person. As for the food, it's exactly what you'd expect from McDonald's. I've never had a bad meal here, but I've also never had a "wow" moment either. It's consistent, predictable, and does the job when you're craving it. All in all, this is a decent, reliable McDonald's. Clean, well maintained, nicely decorated during the holidays, and generally well run--with the only real downsides being the occasional missing items and the very conservative sauce policy. If you're going to McDonald's anyway, this is a perfectly fine one to choose.

The first time we walked in, it definitely caught us a little off guard (you'll understand once you see it), but it didn't take long for this place to completely win us over. Like... commit to it. Once you're inside, though, it's all worth it. The food is consistently delicious, generously portioned, and very reasonably priced. Truly zero complaints--we've never had a bad meal here. And on top of that, they offer free local delivery, which is always a huge bonus. I have to admit I haven't been much of a fan of Chegg in the very limited amount of visits I've had…read moreover the years. Recently some family members went for happy hour to watch a Phillies game, and they had a great time. We decided to give it another shot for happy hour. We really enjoyed ourselves and thought the value for what we ordered was outstanding. We arrived just after 5pm (happy hour weekly from 3-6) and were greeted by one of 3 bartenders who helped us throughout our visit (all 3 bartenders were great). I asked about their current down east cider on tap and she poured us a taster without having to request it. I ended up going with a happy hour dirty Kettle martini which ended up being super smooth. My wife had a Surfside, also on happy hour. The happy hour food consists of 1/2 price appetizers, fries, 10 piece boneless/bone-in wings and fingers. Drink wise it's $3 off all draft beer & house wine, $5 seltzers & teas, $7 margaritas, and $10 kettle & espresso martinis. I love a good deal and this is it! Chegg also has a fun Phillies special where each game there is a player of the game. If that player records a hit there are drink specials the remainder of the game! We ordered a bunch of food also on happy hour; Garlic Parm Boneless Wings, Fried Pickle Spears, Cheesy Bay Fries, and Bone-In Zapper Wings. I typically prefer smaller wings. These wings were on the bigger side and were meaty and juicy, but they were also crispy, cooked well throughout and not fatty. The wing sauce was really good! Very hot but not overbearing which is just what I was hoping for. The fried pickle spears were also a hit, and seemed to be breaded in house which is a huge plus if they were. The boneless wings were very good, however, we've had better Garlic Parm sauces elsewhere. Still nothing to complain about. After finishing my Dirty Martini I ordered a Jalapeño Margarita which was delicious. The bartender muddled jalapeño in the shaker prior to making the drink. It was limey and refreshing with a subtle jalapeño kick. Well worth the price tag and something I'd definitely order again. I finished up with one of my favorite all time beers, Tonewood Fuego (this drink not on happy hour). I mention this as all of this food and drink came out to ~$65. Again, value-wise I was impressed. I think Chegg has the potential to be great place to watch games. Their bar is very large with plenty of TVs throughout. They also have a great patio bar for beautiful days/nights. I'm sure during big Philadelphia sporting events the atmosphere is pretty great inside and out. I can definitely see myself coming back again for happy hour as the food and drink specials are great in my opinion. This was my first time at a Chegg happy hour. I still feel the prices are a bit high outside of happy hour. If you want decent bar food at a good price Chegg happy hour could be a place for you.
