It was our anniversary weekend. The outdoor seating overlooks the lake and it's a sight. It's a small but inviting. Wine is very good. We had the rosé and white flight. We had lunch here around noon on a Friday last week. If you want a spot on the beautiful patio, you definitely need a reservation. We had heard good things about the farm fresh food, and we were not disappointed. The chicken sandwich was our favorite, and the pulled pork meat was super tender, but it was missing a good sauce. The pimento dip was also tasty! Despite the food being yummy, the wine here was the worst we had on our winery hopping tour. As you come in, you find a neo-retro style barn, maintaining the essence and structure whilst adding a touch of color and modern materials. It is easy to locate with the signs by the road & the blue indigo barn is unmissable. The friendly staff who knew about their offerings, helped us decide what to go for, both in terms of food as well as in wines. It also doesn't hurt to have stunning views while you wine & dine. Ryan, the owner, was extremely hospitable & his passion for his wines is contagious. Additionally, his wife designs the entire menu. Even though it's not a restaurant per se, the food is incredibly flavorful, without being too salty. The indoor sitting offered a well-ventilated environment in our warm day. I did three red and the rose, and the Rose was my absolute favorite! Brought plenty of wine home as well, and their prices were excellent! We got a bottle to share and sat at one of the tables....unfortunately it was a little too windy and rainy to sit outside, but the deck was so pretty and the view out the front was beautiful of the lake! They had this soft pretzel with this honey mustard dip as a snack, and omg. It was so amazing we immediately ordered another. It was crispy and delightful! Their hummus was also outstanding. The place was beautiful, and old barn, high ceilings and what also looked like a loft area. Lots of extras for sale, including what I was assuming to be local jewelry and lotions. We came here in October during a weekend away in Wine Country, and I'm still impressed with this place. An upscale gem in the heart of the Seneca Wine Trail. This is technically their 'Tasting Barn', but using the 'barn' in the loosest possible sense of the word - brand new, high gloss concrete floors, beautiful exterior paneling, floor to ceiling windows, and a stunning deck - hardly a barn! We went for a tasting, and stayed for a bottle. I believe the tasting was only $5 for 5 tastings, and we opted to share a bottle of the Grüner Veltliner with a cheese plate. We sat out on the deck and watched the sun dazzle off the Seneca Lake - it was a truly enjoyable experience. The cheese plate was delicious as well! I showed up to this winery sober with my boyfriend (both of us are of age) and as he was shown the table I went to the restroom. As soon as I got to the table I was greeted by the male manager who told us that we would not be served because our server was "very uncomfortable" given how "inebriated" we were. I obviously was very confused given neither me nor my boyfriend interacted with a server and my confusion was met with "you'll understand when you're older".
