This is especially important for those folks who decide to stray away from the top dogs (Toyota, Honda, BMW, etc. car repair shops). I've been to other places where businesses make you feel ashamed to ask questions when it's them you are paying. I definitely would not say the same about this place, I felt like my questions were valued. If there was one thing I would suggest, perhaps giving some love to the inside waiting/front desk room. I think it could use a good cleaning to ensure customers are comfortable where they sit. Other than that, this place is great and I would come back for any further car repairs. Absolute disappointment …read more I trusted this shop based on past experiences because they used to be helpful. We are not just returning customers. We have used them several times over the years and have referred many people to them. I sent my child there for a second opinion after he was sandwiched in an accident, and needed a second opinion because the first shop couldn't find parts. I made an appt last week and explained the situation and that this was a second opinion and we needed also help finding parts. Steve told us to come back today, so we did. My son went in, Steve completely forgot the purpose of the visit, started questioning my son, then my son told me "the manager guy is angry and calling you" I said ok. Steve calls me, I re explain the situation, he says "your son says he doesn't plan to fix the car" (all while having a rude tone with me). I let him know that obviously we will be fixing it-- that's why we are bringing it to the body shop, to which "Steve" replied, "I'm not doing an inspection for free." I calmly asked (in my raspy voice because I'm sick), "How much would you like me to pay for the inspection?" He immediately snapped, "I can sense a tone in your voice so I'm not doing the inspection because of your attitude," and proceeded to yell at me (with my son standing in front of him) so I hung up. I am currently recovering from pneumonia, so no, I don't have a chipper, lady-like voice right now. The fact that he chose to yell at me in front of my child over "tone" is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. To be treated this way as a loyal, repeat customer who has supported and referred business to this shop is beyond disrespectful. It is also worth noting that the only person who replies to negative reviews appears to be the very individual I am describing here, which makes this experience even more concerning. I will not be returning. If you value being spoken to with basic respect, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.. And all the recommendations I made for them with my community, I'm retracting. Never again.

Three stars, easily. Maybe four, but maybe not. Allow me to explain…read more.. I was helping my son shop for a car - his was recently totaled, and in order to keep working, he needed a car asap. Legacy Auto Sales had a lot of listings for cars in his wheelhouse (price & mileage). It's about an hour drive for us, but with all those cars, we'd find SOMETHING reasonable. We met there to shop around... WELL! Upon arriving, we walked the lot together. I'd say a good one-third of the lot (maybe HALF the lot) was cars that were already sold. Many of the ones we came there to look at were sold. We talked to a nice sales guy and he explained that yeah, they sell fast. My problem was that we came all that way - the website STILL had them listed as for sale. Not cool. The owner figures he has other cars to sell that "are like those sold ones". Not cool. Update your stuff. Now, don't get me wrong - the folks here were real nice and down to earth. We found a couple options and they happily let us test drive whatever we wanted. After three rides, we realized that none of the cars we were looking at were cleaned or repaired. One absolutely reeked of smoke and...something else. Our sales guy said that they get them in from auction and put them on the lot right away. When you shop, you have to squint and pretend they're clean and fixed up, which is hard to do accurately. Had we bought a car, it would have been two weeks before it could get through their clean/fix process. That was a bit of a deal-breaker for us... we probably should have asked about that sooner before we spent hours there. Would I buy a car here? Perhaps. I think they need to get on top of their backlog of clean/fix and get ready-to-buy cars on their lot. I'm not keen on buying a promise. If I made a deal and 2 weeks later they didn't get the car up to snuff, I'da wasted my time. Others may have that luxury. My advice - call ahead to make sure the car you want is there.
