Legacy Auto Sales had a lot of listings for cars in his wheelhouse (price & mileage). It's about an hour drive for us, but with all those cars, we'd find SOMETHING reasonable. We met there to shop around... WELL! Upon arriving, we walked the lot together. I'd say a good one-third of the lot (maybe HALF the lot) was cars that were already sold. Many of the ones we came there to look at were sold. We talked to a nice sales guy and he explained that yeah, they sell fast. My problem was that we came all that way - the website STILL had them listed as for sale. Not cool. The owner figures he has other cars to sell that "are like those sold ones". Not cool. Update your stuff. Now, don't get me wrong - the folks here were real nice and down to earth. We found a couple options and they happily let us test drive whatever we wanted. After three rides, we realized that none of the cars we were looking at were cleaned or repaired. One absolutely reeked of smoke and...something else. Our sales guy said that they get them in from auction and put them on the lot right away. When you shop, you have to squint and pretend they're clean and fixed up, which is hard to do accurately. Had we bought a car, it would have been two weeks before it could get through their clean/fix process. That was a bit of a deal-breaker for us... we probably should have asked about that sooner before we spent hours there. Would I buy a car here? Perhaps. I think they need to get on top of their backlog of clean/fix and get ready-to-buy cars on their lot. I'm not keen on buying a promise. If I made a deal and 2 weeks later they didn't get the car up to snuff, I'da wasted my time. Others may have that luxury. My advice - call ahead to make sure the car you want is there.

Knowing that I would only get a couple hundred from a junkyard, and wasn't willing to haggle with people over the price I wanted I listed for dirt cheap on the Market. Michael contacted me, was extremely direct and won me over to sell my car to him over another person by his personable and no BS personality. I got more than what I was (unhappily) expecting! When he came to look at the car he even worked out a deal with me to replace my title, and then worked out a time that I could drop off the vehicle when it was convenient for me as he knew I was packing to move out of the state. Overall my ENTIRE experience with Michael has been world famous and I'm disappointed that I, myself cannot buy one of his cars (my significant other is driving us, and no way am I doing 30+ hours of driving by myself). Thus far, I've been there 8 times this past year and I have to say they do an amazing job at a very reasonable rate. The employees are super friendly, and Andy is always willing to work out a decent deal for small services (I had my heating core flushed for almost nothing) They are very knowledgeable on what you need done to your vehicle, and never try upseling you additional services that aren't necessary. Finally got ahold of Zach 2 months later. There was no effort to remedy the issue or discuss any reasonable solution. They did offer to charge me $50.00 an hour to look at it AFTER telling me it had a catastrophic electrical failure. It felt like once the sale was complete, customer service no longer mattered. I understand that used cars can come with risks, but a vehicle failing almost immediately raises serious concerns about how it was inspected or represented before sale. I would strongly caution others to be very careful when considering buying a vehicle from this dealer. Make sure to get an independent inspection and understand exactly what you're getting into, because support after the purchase will not be there.

They are especially good regarding used tires, if you are not in the market to spend $600+ on a set of brand new Michelins. I was just there to get some useful tires on my second car that I don't drive all that often. I was in and out in less than half an hour with four perfectly good tires for 1/4 what it would have cost me at a tire store. I am completely happy. 1. Call ahead. 2. Confirm that they have what you are looking for, confirm that they are open and can take you in short order. I do that and I am always satisfied.
