The paint and body repairs look excellent, and from the outside the vehicle looks great. Unfortunately, the condition of my vehicle when it was returned was extremely disappointing. The entire interior was covered in sanding dust from the body shop. Dust was on the seats, dashboard, vents, and throughout the cabin, and the inside of the vehicle still smells like a body shop. My Jeep was brought in clean and well cared for, but it was returned in a condition that felt careless and unacceptable. My biggest concern is that this fine dust has been circulating through the vehicle, raising concerns about what I am now breathing in while driving. When I brought this to their attention, the response I received was simply that they would "wipe it down" because they do not have a detailing department. For a vehicle returned in this condition, that response did not feel adequate. Quality bodywork is important, but so is respecting a customer's vehicle. Based on my experience, anyone using this shop for body repairs should strongly consider negotiating enough off the final bill to have the vehicle professionally detailed afterward, because the cleanup standard here fell far below what should be expected.

When we replaced the Civic with a Nissan Cube, Auto Tech proved to be THE place again! Nissan wanted $450 to replace the valve gasket because you have to remove the intake manifold to get to it. Auto Tech did put for under $200. I've trusted my daughter's car her all throughout college. No up charges and honest repairs done right the first time! Thanks Chris and team! 12/4/2020 Update Chis is amazing! We had a recent issue with head gasket failure. Essentially the previous work performed by Auto Tech was flawless but the part failed. The problem is my daughter graduated UNCW and is now living in Charlotte, 200 miles away! What a quandary! Chris went above and beyond by contacting the NAPA supplier and through his network membership with NAPA, offered a remote NAPA warranty solution where a shop here in Charlotte was paid to perform the work. Kudos to NAPA for standing behind their product and special thanks to Chris for standing behind his commitment to customers, even though we are 200 miles apart! This is customer service and integrity at its best! I feel any other shop would not have gone the extra mile to make things right! Since I pass them every morning on my way to/from work and that they are open as early as 730AM, I drove right in! Luckily, I didn't need an appointment! I hopped out and they drove it into the bay. As it was being inspected, a nice young man made conversation regarding my personalized license plate! That made me feel good to have similar interests and had a nice talk! Within minutes, I was ready and out the door! The inspection was less than $15 and was worth every penny!
