40 Dollar Breakfast? Short review, a breakfast place with no waitstaff. You order at the counter and pick up. We ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 coffees, 40 dollars. Sandwiches are not big and you have to dress your own coffee. Sandwiches were good but the coffee was not "award winning." I went back in to pour myself a little more coffee and got dirty looks. I thought for 40 bucks that I could refill my coffee cup. Beware of the prices when you go in. I think hot coffees are like 8 or 9 bucks, ridiculous. Thanks read more

A great spot for a delicious, HUGE sandwich in the Seaside Heights area. Stop in before hitting the beach and you will have a great time enjoying a nice cold sub from Ryan's on the beach. When we went, there was only one woman running the deli, but she was incredibly sweet - loaded up my veggie sandwich with extra eggplant & squash -- the works, and I was a happy vegetarian. The sub was absolutely delicious and hit the spot on the beach, afterwards, and even the next day as leftovers. Note - specifically ask for sauces like mayo! I forgot to, but luckily we had condiments on hand. (The sub was still tasty without traditional sauces - the balsamic totally brings the veggie sub together.. just personal preference!) read more

The lady worker was extremely unprofessional and rude when I asked for a condiment and was told I could not receive it and that they don't have small packs of condiments (which they do) even after attempting to make a purchase. Although it was a drink, I still was trying to make a purchase and I am a frequent customer. After she said no, she tried to grab my drink for me not to purchase it. Food is fresh and lots of options for Storemade soups salads and store cooked meats. Such a Friendly staff that goes out of their way to make you feel at home. They go out of their way to make the kids happy (coloring books and crayons and little games). And if you are walking by with your dog the one employee goes out of her way to give the dogs treats. We've ordered takeout from here a few times. First time was fine - just some deli subs. Those are a safe bet. This time, I ordered the Reuben... The corned beef was sliced WITH the grain, making for unbearably tough and chewy meat. Instead of sauerkraut, it was topped with chopped cabbage. The taste was fine, but the lack of craftsmanship made it quite possibly the worst reuben I've ever had. On top of that the UE app showed a 10-20 minute pickup time, and notified us it was ready for pickup at the 20 minute mark. However, it still took another 12 minutes before it was actually ready. And most unconscionable of all, during the wait, it was noticeable that one employee was not wearing a mask! Took forever to order. Barely anyone in there. Noticed while we were standing on line that they had all the Taylor ham, bacon and eggs all cooked already and piled up. I highly doubt that everything stayed out of the damage zone as my friend did get sick shortly after. It takes no time to make eggs. Great service! I ordered lunch for a group of 20 people, and we were admittedly quite difficult with passing the phone around and splitting up the checks into 4 different groups. The team at Ryan's couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, and made us feel like we weren't the pains in the a** that we knew we were. No one had any complaints about the food and with this family, that is most definitely a win. Stumbled back here for breakfast the following day and loved the bagels, too! read more

Pretty good bacon / pork roll egg and cheese - I wish the bagel was toasted though automatically I should've asked, and that the egg was fried like usual instead of with the yolk not mixed, but that's a personal preference I guess not every place does? My husband and I stopped here for a quick sandwich for dinner when we were visiting family on the Jersey Shore. Our sandwiches were delicious. I had the #4 Alfonzo which is: thinly sliced prosciutto, provolone, pepper ham and spicy capicola served on fresh bread, garnished with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and a generous portion of fire roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic. It was so good! My husband had the #3 Italian which is the same as the Alfonzo but has regular ham instead of pepper and dones't have the roasted red peppers or the mozzarella. He loved his too. They use Boars Head meats and cheeses, so you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. And being just a block from the Boardwalk gives you a great alternative to all the fried options you get there. We will definitely be back. In fact, we stopped back in the day we were leaving to head home to pick up breakfast. I had a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. We can't get real NY bagels here in Massachusetts and you can really taste the difference. This was excellent. My husband had the Original Belly Buster: pork roll, eggs, cheese and potatoes on a half sub roll. He was in heaven. Been coming to Ryan's for years and they never disappoint. They use all boars head deli meats and cheeses Myself and many friends of mine have used Ryan's for catering. They will do anything.. breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, pig roasts, you name it and they'll do it! The deli is cute, clean and beachy, quick service and lots of options. Open late night on weekends to feed the bar crowd. You can also call in an order for delivery. They are one of the few local spots that will deliver TO THE BEACH. So great. (Conveniently located caddy corner to the Sunset, and has the same owner as the deli) Diverse menu, offering breakfast and lunch items. Last 2 times we ate there: they got the orders wrong, the turkey tasted funny on the sub, and they were not friendly. And ALWAYS this place is overpriced.
