It was so cute ~ the tray included a fresh donut..this one small gesture helped to create such an amazing morning for our family. There's a sign outside that mentions 'iced coffee' which is the real reason we pulled into the parking (adjacent to building), but once we stepped inside, we knew we would be grabbing a few other items. The bakery cases were lined with fresh bagels, rolls, donuts, the cutest Crab (and other fun design) cookies, and more. They offer fresh brekky sandwiches, so we couldn't pass up a pork roll moment (IYKYK). They sell merch, and we purchased a keepsake of a framed painting from a local artist that now has a spot in our kitchen. Love supporting local artists through small businesses! Seems like that is the way to go if you're a summer local or are looking to do something time sensitive. The requirements for this are detailed on the website. If you're coming for the summer and don't mind the whole experience of taking a number, waiting in line, talking to East Coast locals, and taking in the sweet smells of the bakery...then enjoy the wait! The "Crumb Bun" or crumb cake as we call it, is what we also come here for because it's the "it" thing us West Coasters don't get on our side. What I noticed is they do individual pieces, a whole cake that serves 6-8, platters, with Bavarian cream, filled with slices of cinnamon apples, and a bag of "just the crumbs". We went with a whole crumb cake to take back to feed the family/guests, and a few decorated Sesame Street cookies. They have everything here though - from donuts/pastries, bagels/rolls/bread, fun cookies, cupcakes...you name it. They also have coffee! All in all get there close to opening, pre-order if needed, or just enjoy the crumb cake ride.

Delicious! We also grabbed a slice of their homemade coffee cake. Again, delicious! And of course, some beans for our rental to make early morning coffees before the sunrise. My parents went back on their own trip and ordered a pork roll & cheese on a Kaiser roll sandwich (see pic for the ample serving size) and mentioned they had a morning/mid-day live musician serenading them while they ate outside. So fun! They offer outdoor seating and also lunch (I believe they close around 2p). Parking for most of these spots on the shore can be found on the street, although walkable pending where you're staying down the shore. Highly recommend!

It was not busy when we arrived, maybe 2-3 other tables. There seemed to be only one server who seemed to be hustling, but the wild part was the bartender. We all placed our drink orders and about 20 mins went by without any water or drinks. Meanwhile, the bartender was chatting to what seemed to be his friends stopping in. He was drinking a Truly can and dropped multiple glasses, so spent his time walking up and down the bar doing absolutely nothing. Eventually a margarita and warm blue moon were delivered, but we didn't order a margarita and still - no drinks for the rest of the party. Food was sub par and the whole experience was candidly miserable. I don't think I am even doing it justice as I can't relive it.

We frequented many Wawa locations throughout our stay, but this one was special to us. Friendly and quick service, always a bustling of people coming to/from the Shore, clean and stocked, and offering pretty solid foodie products. They offer kiosks to order from which are pretty user-friendly, and we enjoyed our routine of grabbing the iced coffees ourselves. I feel like Wawa is a must if traveling on the East Coast. The food felt fresh for extremely fast-casual, and is literally so convenient to hop in/out on the way or home from a busy beach day. Portions are packed, and items are pretty easy on the wallet. The melted cheese in the middle had me sold. One morning I even had the bagel fresh out of the oven and I think I heard angels sing. Their hash browns are also very yummy! My cousin got the great bambino and he was obsessed with it. I don't eat meat so I didn't try his, but I trust his judgement with food. The service was always good! The morning we got hot bagels from the oven, they said it would be a five minute wait but it was more like twenty. They did apologize, and we weren't in a rush any way (always wait for oven hot bagels). The place has some seating which is nice. Highly recommend Asiago herb bagels from here! Will be back next time I'm nearby.

We called my phone over 30 times, and no one picked up or made any attempt to return it to its owner. I then called the shop directly, and I was told that they did not have my phone. I tracked it using another device, and the location was clearly showing that it was inside the bagel shop. My husband went back inside and asked about it, and once again they said they didn't have it. Only after he showed them the location tracking and explained that the phone was definitely there, a guy from the back finally came out with my phone. What is most upsetting is that there were very few customers in the shop and the workers were not busy, yet after more than 30 calls, no one answered the phone or seemed to make any effort to return it. We were also told twice that they didn't have it, even though the location clearly showed otherwise. A bagel shop shouldn't be judged only by the quality of its bagels. Customer service, honesty, and how you treat your customers are just as important. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression and completely ruined my opinion of this place. I expected much better and will not be returning.
