Stopped in around 6 pm on a Monday night. The young man behind the counter was friendly, helpful, nice. Great customer service - we ordered and he brought our steak sandwiches and fries to our table. There are two TVs to enjoy while waiting. A very simple, casual diner like vibe inside. They have outdoor seating too. We LOVED the steak, chopped real meat, not fake steakum type meat. Not greasy, not fatty at all. We both just got cheese on ours. The French fries were good. The roll the steak was on was very fresh and delicious. It was an Italian roll, great texture and flavor. I finally got to try this cheesesteak on my latest visit to Seaside. It was on a Friday, and I came in the afternoon. I recently saw on this pages instagram that they now have cooper sharp cheese as an option for their steaks, and this is my favorite type of cheese for a cheesesteak. It just melts perfectly and tastes great. I ordered the Louie Original (which came with peppers and onions) and had the cooper sharp as my cheese. As soon as I opened my sandwich and looked at it, I knew it was going to be awesome. And it definitely was once I had my first bite. The girls behind the counter and delivering the food to tables were just as pleasant and as nice as could be. They don't have ice in the soda machine so it's a process to get ice for your drinks. The food, the loaded tots were probably the star covered in cheese and a special sauce with cheesesteak meat. My cheesesteak was just kinda ok. It was a little rubbery, bland and honestly for as long as the food took, cold. The cheese had kind of hardened from maybe sitting under a heat lamp? I don't usually add ketchup but felt the need to do so. My wife's chicken cheesesteak was also just kind of ok. The bread was great and I got the seeded roll, so it was nice it didn't collapse. But as far as the meat, the star, it was disappointing. It just needed more seasoning and some heat. For the price we paid and what I got, I may or may not come by again.
