    Prepackaged dessert

If you're hungry and in Hammond Louisiana, this is a MUST! This is a favorite for locals and our family. Located about half a mile away from all the main eateries and the mall, this unobtrusive deli/gas station off S Range Road (Minnesota Park intersection) is amazing! The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge! Their po'boys and muffulettas are HUGE and delicious!! No corners cut here!! They also have deli meat and cheeses by the pound, salads, sandwiches, hamburgers and dinner baskets. They offer catering. Prepackaged dessert items are for sale at the counter. We'll be back!

This is my go to place whenever I come to visit. This small family owned spot is all the flavor without the hassle of long lines. The folks here are friendly and kind. If you're ever around or just passing through stop by, they have everything from hot Ham and Swiss / Roast Beef / shrimp, oysters, catfish po'boy or baskets and great conversation!

Muff (two quarters of it) w/o Mayo

If you like sandwiches with plenty of meat- this is the place! They have the best muffuletta around! And their poboys are good too.

Club Po Boy was AMAZING! That bread!

They have descent poboys. They could load it a little more for the prices. The location is just ok.

Babyyyyy let me tell y'all... I would have gone out HAPPY Saturday night after eating here and that…read moreis NOT an exaggeration ‍ From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was so peaceful and welcoming. And can we talk about the music?! Christian music playing the whole time -- that's all we listen to, so my son was over there having his own little concert knowing every word lol. It just felt GOOD in there. Now listen... they were BUSY busy (Saturday night, so we expected that), and we were starvingggg, so we skipped the appetizers -- which honestly hurt my feelings a little because they sounded SO good And I HAVE to shout out the server/owner -- because baby, my dad is 80 years old and will talk to ANYBODY about ANYTHING. When I say they handled him like a pro... I mean patient, kind, laughing with him, never rushing him off -- just truly good people. If you know, you know Let's get into the food though I ordered the BBQ bacon cheeseburger (no onions) with fries... AND a fresh squeezed lemonade that was absolutely BOMB ‍ Like refreshing, perfect, not too sweet -- I could've had about three of those, easy My dad got the surf & turf burger, my sister got a regular burger, my brother-in-law had the crawfish étouffée with fried catfish, and my son got chicken fingers. We did have a bit of a wait, but honestly it gave us time to sit, talk, and enjoy being together -- no complaints there BUT BABY... when that food hit the table... Not. One. Word. Except "OMG this is the best thing I've ever eaten!!!" That burger?!?! I'm not even kidding -- I would request that as my LAST MEAL. It was THICK, juicy, cooked perfectly. The bacon? Crispy perfection The sourdough bun? Soft, fluffy, just holding everything together like it was sent from Heaven The BBQ sauce wasn't overpowering -- just right. AND let me say this... I am the DIPPING SAUCE QUEEN I normally need ranch, ketchup, something on the side at all times... but this burger?! I didn't touch a single sauce. Not ONE. It stood on its own and didn't need a thing I did not stop eating until it was GONE. No to-go box. No shame. No regrets. I usually can't even finish a burger anywhere, but this one?? I couldn't put it down. And when I tell you EVERYONE cleaned their plates -- I mean EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. Even my son, who is VERY picky about his "chicken nuggets," was tearing those chicken fingers UP and talking about how good they were So will I be back? ABSOLUTELY. Will I recommend it? Already have ‍ Will I start a petition (or boycott ) if they ever take that burger off the menu? Don't test me. Also... sorry there are no pictures We turned into straight feral animals the second that food hit the table 10/10 -- run, don't walk.

Food was truly wonderful like all the other reviews state, but the wait times for service and food…read morewere not. We were brought flat cokes, then asked for tea instead, that was brought out warm with little ice that melted before it even cooled the tea. Service needs so much improvement, especially during lunch hours, can't even fault the gal working, she was by herself. The building could also use a good cleaning, it's super cute otherwise. So much potential here and I hope it improves.

his is what a real Louisiana seafood place is supposed to be…read more There is nothing on this menu that isn't a hit. Not one weak link. That's rare. The catfish po-boys are the real deal -- actual catfish, perfectly seasoned, fried right, and served on real New Orleans French bread, not that grocery-store knockoff so many places try to pass off. Every bite tastes like someone in the kitchen actually cares. The boiled seafood is consistently spot-on, which tells you everything you need to know about the kitchen. Anyone who's ever peeled an over-soaked shrimp knows how unforgiving boiling seafood is -- timing matters. And they nail it every time. Shrimp peel clean, seasoning penetrates without overpowering, and nothing is waterlogged or mushy. This is a place that understands: Ingredients matter Technique matters Consistency matters No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just well-executed Louisiana food done the right way. If you want seafood you can trust -- this is it.

This place also serves up a limited Cajun Menu which had outstanding food from what I could see...we stopped for fresh seafood to take home. The prices can't be beat by any change grocery store!! We picked up 15lbs of 16-20 shrimp, frozen red fish slabs, boil seasoning, 4 blue crabs (medium and large), French bread loaf, corn, Cajun pickles and some dipping sauces. This place is busy and looks to be chaos but it's far from that...you can get fresh seafood, supplies, drinks, and just about anything you need for a boil. The staff even gave us ice to pack up our purchases to take north. Really enjoyed the time in the line to visit with other customers and take in the place. The ambiance is like a store/restaurant/market where everything is for sale! Didn't take any pictures but when you walk in the door you know you are in a hometown place where people know each other!! Go check them out when you are traveling through Hammond.
