My wife, parents, and I recently used Black Tie Transportation for our ride home from Oakland Airport, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. As soon as we landed, our chauffeur, Daniel, texted us to let us know he was already on site. in 2022 the owner of this company purchased the home that my child and i lived in. prior to this in 2020 i had full back surgery to remove to tumors from my spine leaving me disabled and to care for a young child alone. given my upbringing which was filled with abuse in all formats cooresponding with a man much bigger in stature and unknown to me a disconnect began. there were men on the property frequently without notice. and even after trying to ask for notice to mentally prepare for these events i was bombarded by the owner of this company and many of his workers. in addition to this many repairs fell to the wayside for long periods of time. leaving our experience as tenants stressful and uncomfortable. one day we were met with huge moving pods and notices that we were to move out our belongings into this pods and they would move them to our next home. we were not given any sort of courtesy prior to make us believe this was true. the owner offered to pay us an amount that totaled exorbanantly less than what the market rate for an apartment in this area would cost. because i was not learned on the time about evictions and these types of perceedings and not wanting to cause any more upset for my young daughter, i moved. the house then sat empty and vacant for many years only being put on the market last summer. and im sure its finally sold. now knowing the laws i would have won because this would be consider a no fault eviction which legally is not allowed. they evicted us under the guise of themselves and their elderly mother moving in. but they never did they sold it for an insane profit and in the process removed one of the liberty trees that had been in pleasanton for many decades! i will no longer be silent and will advocate for myself as this was beyond nefarious and ultimately left my daughter and i to be uprooted from the only place my daughter had known and the place i have called home since 8th grade! if for any other reason my review is left to show the ethical standing of the owners of this company. there are many other limo services with upstanding good people as workers and owners read more

This establishment completely blows. Do not waste your time or money with this outfit; I cannot believe they are still in business. Way back when I was thinking about leaving In-N-Out Burger, their team literally recruited me from the drive-through lane while I was working the handheld. I asked them straight up if I should quit my job at INO, and they said, "Sure, go ahead." Then, they let me go after not even 72 hours. Bill Wheeler Jr. called me into his office and just said "it wasn't working out." Why tell me to quit my stable job if you're going to fire me on day three? I had already spent a ton of my own money on the required chauffeur tuxedo.On top of treating workers like garbage, they are the same company that tried to fight Costco coming into Pleasanton because they were terrified of losing parking. I pass by Black Tie every time I go to Costco now. They still have the exact same fleet lot they had years ago. They are a joke. A former friend of mine worked their switchboard and got the same awful treatment. Avoid this establishment for your transportation needs. Plenty of other companies out there actually know how to run a business. read more

Overall bad experience with this company. They took forever to respond to emails first of all. We had two different drivers. First driver Tony was super friendly and a pleasure to work with.our second driver was extremely rude. I called him at the end of the wedding and he sounded extremely annoyed. He said he was told we only needed two pickups but i was trying to coordinate with guests how many pickups we would need at the end of the wedding. We paid for 4 hours at the end of the wedding starting at 9:30pm. And i asked him to confirm we have him for a 4 hour block because my wife did all the booking and coordination and he was yelling at me "what do you need. Tell me what do you need." It is not like we were on a 10 minute phone call or anything he was annoyed right from the beginning. Just disappointed in the service. I cannot believe the money we spent to get treated like that. read more

Booking over the phone was super easy, and they had no problem with the park's tricky navigation. Our driver Tom arrived early and was super communicative and thoughtful, checking in with us to make sure our drop off point was correct and circling when we arrived too early. At the end of the wedding he was right where we needed him to pick us up. On 10/08/2020 on 880 southbound a vehicle from this company nearly caused a multi-car accident by forcing their way in between me and the car in front of me. They barely cleared the car in front of me and barely missed hitting the front of my car. Traffic came to an abrupt halt just as this driver forced their way into my lane. As I was already slamming on my brake to avoid hitting the rear of their car, I was able to avoid hitting their vehicle. This van just side clipped my right mirror and continue to go with stoping. Time 5:35pm 9/4:2018. Dixon landing road off 880. It is a 3 lanes merging into two lanes section of the street. The van came from behind in lane #3. I'm in#2. It's clear that I have the right of way. He clipped my mirror and continued to run. It was a closed call. Our experience with Black Tie was EXCELLENT! We had a 13 person van bringing the Groom & Groomsmen from their home to the ceremony venue...then that van bringing the Bride & Bridal party from their AirBnB to the ceremony venue...then a 46 passenger van making pickups at two hotels...then the 46 passenger van bringing guests from the ceremony venue to the reception venue...then the 13 passenger van bringing the Bride, Groom, and their parties to the reception venue...then multiple return times back to the hotels from the reception and a getaway car for the Bride & Groom at the end of the night and EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. There was not a single misstep or issue. The drivers were all wonderful humans who were fun and kind and reassuring. All of the vehicles were in great condition (clean, smelled nice, looked new). Our getaway car at the end of the night had such a lovely driver and massage seats which felt like the greatest surprise at the end of a very wonderful but long day. We have used Black Tie many times over the years, but I think it is unlikely going forward. They need to get a better selection of vehicles. I called today for a ride to San Francisco from Livermore, 2 people 3 suitcases they wanted over $300. Why? Because they can only take two suitcases in their regular cars, I need and SUV. I drive a Honda CRV and could easily fit those suitcases in my budget car, why do you even have limos that can't have three suitcases? Apparently stretch limo's are not available anymore. I am not excited about parking in San Francisco but over $300 one way is silly. Two stars because they have always been reliable in the past, but I am a Former customer. read more

We chartered a 31 seat bus for Prom. When we had filled nearly all the seats, we upgraded to a 41 seat bus. Staff on the phone was always very helpful and accommodating and very good with communication--they clearly have a lot of experience. We did have to point out that they had made an error in their quote, but it was remedied with no problem.
