Got in touch with Forever Electric, and the electrician, Thomas, showed up promptly. He seemed nice, straightforward, and trustworthy. He took a look around my setup and was able to diagnose the issue fairly quickly. And, in about an hour, he had resolved the problem successfully. It turned out that my outside main breaker was badly corroded, and needed to be replaced. Their prices are competitive and seemed pretty reasonable. I recommend them highly and they are now my first choice if I encounter any electrical issues or need any electrical work in the future.

You read that right- $3000- The bill included $436 to replace a 9" piece of 1 1/2" PVC drainpipe he mistakenly cut in the process and $257 for four decora items and a Lutron switch for the fixture-readily available at Home Depot at total cost of $88. When the discrepancy pointed out, Tony stated "that's what I have to charge." Sorry, no, not at $165/hr. Committed to a return date to complete other work. Did not show. Caveat emptor: If you feel compelled to hire Tony-he talks a good game-get a firm estimate-Tony's time and materials cost was twice the written bid price of two other reputable sources-and get a firm appointment time; better yet, do yourself a favor-find a different electrician!

They came at great expense and told me I needed a new boiler. I then called some local plumbers and my service company, who made many visits and tried really really hard, but no one could figure out exactly what the problem was. I then called Lou from Absolute Combustion also an authorized Laars contractor. What others couldn't figure out in many visits and hours Lou diagnosed in one visit, He got my boiler running and I now have heat and hot water that works consistently.
