I've been coming to Dr. Ryoo's for a few years now following an implant procedure done by Dr. Ryoo. I can say that Dr. Ryoo is one of the best dentists I've been to. He's very professional and it's easy to schedule routine cleanings/check-ups as well as emergency appointments. Routine appointments are very smooth and quick. One of the worst experiences ever. First, they don't pick up the phone for appointment. Second, when you walk in, you get to meet with nitty-gritty staff asking if you have an appointment, but they never pick up the phone in the first place. Then, i said they don't pick ip the phone. I have this tooth aching issue. They have full schedule. I said I really need to see the doctor it is minor issue and won't take long. She said, are you cash customer. I said sure. But she said, doctor may just look at it but won't be able to do any work. It sounds like, we don't care. We want cash client. But we take care only expensive matter. But personally, it is the worst experience ever. Is it just me? I saw many who experienced the same inconvenience. It made my day terrible. Dr. Ryoo is a good dentist that I've been seeing for about 10 years. Before coming here, I had bad experiences with dentists who bullied me into procedures, shamed me for not coming often enough, and made mistakes on my teeth. I called Dr Ryoo this week with some serious tooth pain! They got me in right away, which was nice. I had a wisdom tooth that was causing the pain. After deliberating with Dr. Ryoo, we concluded that it had to be pulled. I haven't had a tooth pulled in many years and didn't know what to expect. Dr Ryoo gave me all the numbing medicine required. The tooth was very stubborn but I never felt any pain or discomfort during the procedure. I am grateful to Dr. Ryoo and his staff for getting rid of that troublesome tooth. Great job guys. read more

I've moved around a lot and have had many dentists. Dr. Ryoo is my all time favorite. I like that I get all my care directly from the doctor including teeth cleaning. Allows the doctor to really understand how I clean my teeth and where my potential problems are. He does a good job communicating any issues and he takes the time to explain my options. I think he's extremely knowledgeable, but also knows when it's best to refer me to a specialist. I've had doctors before that want to do everything because referrals are basically money out of their pockets. But Dr. Ryoo prioritizes my dental health. His referrals have always been top notch too. Lastly I have to mention that I hate shots in my mouth, but Dr. Ryoo has a technique that makes them quite tolerable. I'm often surprised how little it hurts. If you're looking for a dentist, I can't recommend anyone more highly. read more

Great service. The exam was thorough, Dr. Ryoo showed me the areas of concern with X-ray and photos and the following cleaning was great, I love how my teeth feel after cleaning. Other places I've been in the past I was in the dark with my coverage and always got a surprise bill. Sophia does an awesome job providing a breakdown of my coverage and what I have to pay and may pay if insurance denies. Finished my implant crown from a year ago and it feels like how it was before I lost my tooth. Chose Dr. Ryoo dental after needing an emergency root canal and he was able to take me on short notice, on a weekend when most offices are closed. After contacting their emergency line (which was available for text messaging) I was treated the following day. Since then, I've been going for routine cleanings and have found that the level of professionalism along with quality is next level. I've had some terrible experiences with bad dentists who caused me years of pain from sloppy root canals. Dr. Ryoo fixed this issue, and I never looked back. Please be more kind to your patients and understand that just because you're a dentist, you are not above them. I am writing this review on behalf of my son's visit for wisdom tooth extraction. I am so amazed with the way his procedure went! I was a little nervous about him having this done under local anesthesia, maybe due to my own experience as a teen, and always thought it would be easier and less painful under IV sedation. The procedure was scheduled and took about an hour and a half . He left the office with hardly any pain or much bleeding. ( Completely different experience than what my daughter had under IV sedation with a local oral surgeon. ) The following day he only needed occasional Advil and felt fine enough to go to work. What makes Dr. Ryoo a great dentist is not only his skill and knowledge, but his care for his patients. I've been going to Dr. Ryoo for about 8 years now, and he has given me impeccable and honest care. The kicker, however, is when my son got into a bike accident one early evening where part of his injuries included a chipped tooth. When I informed Dr. Ryoo of this, he told me to immediately bring my son in after we finished visiting urgent care. This was at 10:30 pm!
