I'm sure you are here because you can't figure out what type of martial arts to put your kid in…read more.. or you're trying to find a good Taekwondo spot. Well you're in luck because you found a great spot to fulfill both of these desires. Impact Martial Arts is a very well rounded program. My son is in the Tigers 3-6 year old class The class starts with a warm-up and talk about the word of the day (whether it's discipline, respect ,etc.) Then they work on form and technique and work on different types of strikes with their hands and feet. Then the last half of class they focus on weapon training. They typically have two 30 minutes classes per week. They offer classes every day including Saturday. Our son has been doing it for 3 months now and loves it. It's really helped hmm him with his confidence and learning to speak up and speak louder. So far I'm very happy with this place. We are glad we chose Taekwondo because it incorporates hand strikes , kicking and weapons and seems well rounded. It definitely keeps his interest and attention and that's what we were looking for. Our son has been going here for a few months now and it's been great. I would definitely recommend this place

I like the lessons being taught, especially about finding good friends. My daughter had so much fun, especially kicking the board and mom using the pool noodle to test out her defense training. If we were local to Poway and the San Diego area still, I'd definitely look into signing my daughter up for some classes.

However, the most important thing are the teachers. The Matriarch, Mr. B who is retiring after more than 38 years, is leaving the school to his children, Mr. Jordan, and Mrs. Jess who have learned these arts since they could walk. And you couldn't ask for more down to Earth, kind and wonderful people to learn from. Both believe in a friendly, happy environment to learn in, while at the same time ensuring their decades of training are passed onto you so you may, lose weight, become more confident, and defend yourself, or others in any situation. I am 55 years old. I last learned some form of Martial Arts when I was 30 but the school I went to had to close down. I looked for other schools but finding a good teacher is harder than you think. I got away from studying for the next couple decades. I have returned starting anew with Kenpo, and I am happy that these are the people teaching. You may stop in, watch, and even try a class or two to see for yourself. You will discover other black belts such as Mr. Gabe who has been studying here since he was 5, will bring the same joy, and dedication to the art when they teach as well. Mrs. Jess, Mr. Jordan, and Mr. Gabe are here almost every single day the school is open. This is dedication, and a promise to you that you will learn from people who love what they do.

Master Aguilar is amazing! His energy, patience, determination, kindness are constantly displayed. It's clear that he and his team truly care about what they teach and the people they teach. Every one of the instructors are great teachers, and good people. They make a concerted effort to connect with each of their students, and our boys are no exception. I'll be the first to admit that our boys haven't always wanted to come to class, but the instructors have done a terrific job engaging them, teaching strength and discipline, but most importantly character. We originally signed them up to help instill self confidence, and the results are evident. A big thank you to team Kickforce from us and any prospective students. Keep up the good work!

Kick force is located off Miramar road. It's to the west of the new Land Rover/Jaguar dealership…read more The parking is shared with all the business in the plaza. We have been going here for the last 3 years. The instructors are very accommodating and understand that every kid or adult has their own learning styles. The instructors also memorize all the kids names which gives it more of a personal touch. The instructors get to know your family which helps build a strong bond between lessons learned there and our own parenting styles. The place has an overall great vibe of leadership and teaching. They have lots of class times throughout the week that could fit almost every families schedule. I've posted the most up to date schedule. The pricing is fair and comparative with other places. If you have specific questions about pricing l would just call them or come in. The price could vary from how many times you yourself want to go or your child. We continue to recommend this place to our family and friends.
