Even worse were the lies that he would come to return it, make a time and date and then totally blow me off. 11 times I was promised my clock back. Half of the time he ignored my calls and text messages. I had to become very insistent to even get him to put it in a box and give it back to me. And after all of that time, the clock was still broke despite the numerous lies that it was fixed and ready! Then I had to have the clock repaired by someone else who actually was qualified. He told me that I was the third customer recently to have him repair damages done to a grandfather clock by this man. It cost me another $271 to have that clock repaired after paying $200 to Brooke Stanley. Just be warned - he doesn't know what he is doing. He actually reassembled the face back onto my grandfather clock with common tacks instead of the proper tapered pins. He apparently lost mine in the 7 months that I chased him to get my clock back.
