If I only had the sauced wings, I might have given them 3-stars since they were decent (though there better around town). But the tenders and fries were quite disappointing, so that brought down the average. Cajun Hot Wings: Probably the highlight of meal. Had some nice cajun spices along with a modest tang. The wings were firm and somewhat crispy. Didn't seem to have any batter, so probably just skin adding the crunch. The sauce wasn't evenly distributed though, more like it was ladled over rather than tossed. Mango Habanero Wings: While I ordered this as my second flavor, the wings were naked. Boo! When your big selling point is all your wing flavors, forgetting to flavor the wings is a huge fail. It was pretty bland and boring with nothing on it. Chicken Tenders w/ Buffalo Blue: The dipping sauce was decent. Like creamy blue cheese with a little bit of hot sauce. A nice pairing for unseasoned chicken, kinda simulated a regular buffalo wing. Unfortunately the tenders were anything but. The meat was tough and chewy. The breading was dry. It tasted like something from a freezer at Safeway that was overcooked. Fries: Nothing special. Really bummed to have to write this review during a pandemic and even debated not doing so, but just had one of the worst food truck experiences of my life. The food took a long time - similar wait time to a dine-in restaurant. We were ok with this as we understand it's only 1 person cooking. My chicken tenders were the weirdest fish-trash I've ever endured. The largest of the 3 was completely raw and praying to baby J I don't get sick. I would say even the cooked tenders borderline on inedible. I had no idea French fries could be messed up, but S&K proved me wrong by providing my pallet with the fishiest fries this side of the Mississippi. The taste of the entire meal was completely off. Really bummed with this experience and hope they make some changes. I went to S&K wings for my lunch break at Sparks SF. I went with the hot and lemon pepper 6 wing combo and I decided to upgrade it to garlic parmesan fries. Fries were lukewarm and the wings were TINY. Flavor wise it did not disappoint but if I'm paying for a 6 wing combo, I'm expecting these wings to be huge. Two wings could've been a standard wing. The fries would've been better if they were a little more fresh but flavor was alright plus the fries were inconsistent with it's cut. I also thought it was a bit unsanitary to leave ketchup out the window considering windy conditions in the city and possibilities of insects landing on it. The 2 guys working this truck today were so rude!!!! When I got to the car (Parked pretty far) I opened the box and noticed there was no ranch and the fries were really COLD. Not just lukewarm but COLD! I didn't want to wait longer for new food to be made so I let that go. I walk back to get the ranch they forgot to include (because let's be serious, how can anyone eat buffalo wings with no ranch? Lol) and realized I didn't have a receipt so I looked for the receipt in my text message and pulled it up when I noticed they over charged me for the cheese. The S&K food truck came to our Company as a limited one-day trial. Its a family-owned business specializing in wings, and are based in Pinole. The trucks themselves appear to mostly go to Concord and San Pablo. My review is based on limited data, since one hour after opening, they completely sold out of wings! I braved a half-hour line to order a BBQ Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich with a side of cheesy tater tots ($12). For being so patient, they kindly threw in a side cole slaw for me. Sandwich was pretty good - soft bun, chicken meat on the sweeter as opposed to tangy, and plenty of pickles to add some acidity. I liked the tater tots - its kind of like a nice alternative to fries that you don't see too often, outside of elementary school cafeterias! Having spent my freshman year in Buffalo, NY, and wings being one of my cheap staples in college, Buffalo pizza (ugh) being my other cheap staple, I know these are far from authentic. After waiting about 45 minutes, I asked if my order was going to be ready soon and they told me there was still 15 orders ahead of me. YUM! One of the highlights of coming to the Concord Farmer's Market is S&K Wings. They have really tasty wings here that come in all heats and flavors, and they have delicious dipping sauces too. My favorite are the lemon pepper and garlic parmesean. But on top of the yummy wings, they also have these spiral potato fries that are so good... you can also top them with nacho cheese and jalapenos, and they become even more amazing. They also have chicken tenders too, which I think I will try next time. They are usually located on the Willow Pass side of the park where all the hot foods are. read more

Don't know what happened between last year and today, but I just ate what are easily the worst wings to ever pass across my taste buds. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that these overcooked, over-seasoned disgraces for buffalo wings were mentioned as being the greatest form of punishment in Dante's Inferno and 50 Shades of Grey. It's only a slight exaggeration to complain about having to use hand tools to chip away burnt flesh from bone on my order of 10 wings. Thankfully, I was able to force my niece to eat half of the order, otherwise these chickens will have died in vain. But, I added one star for great service. The lady taking my order was friendly and efficient, and delivery of these greasy door stops was quick, too. I really think you'll be better off for buying some Foster's Farms wings at Safeway, throwing them in the oven for 20 minutes, and packing the entire messy bunch to the park instead of patronizing S & K. read more

Wing Stop has nothing on S&K Wings! I would rather drive from Richmond to Fairfield for Buffalo Wild Wings instead of Wing Stop (which is 5 minutes away from me) if S&K Wings isn't around. The BBQ Ranch and Buffalo sauce use to be my go-to wings, but is now a toss up between those and the Lemon Pepper and Chili Lime. I thought the customer was always right. Gist of the story is this, overheard an interaction between customer and cashier. Customer stated he paid extra for sour cream and chives on his tater tots- there were no chives or sour cream visibly on the tots. Customer asks cashier where the sour cream and chives are? Cashier's reply is- it's on there, it is a seasoning. We all look at the menu. The menu clearly doesn't state that sour cream and chives are a seasoning. So the sarcasm bug bit me and I ask if the chili and cheese is a seasoning also. After the back and forth banter between customer and cashier, cashier finally states they are out of real sour cream and chives, and refunds the customer's $. Cashier said some dumb shit after the refund. Customer paused, thought about coming back to further engage in the back and forth, but wisely decided to keep it moving.. Maybe I should go a 2nd time before I write a review but WingStop is my place for wings so 2 weeks ago at the Farmer's Market I saw a place that S & K wings carried my favorite flavor (lemon pepper) I was stoked. So I ordered 1 order of chili lime I think it was and lemon pepper and the person gave me a discount of $2. I looked at the wings and they were pretty dark then I took them home and ate those burnt wings and could not distinguish one flavor from the other and I wanted to cry.So now I just stick to my Oasis barbecue and get a full plate of ribs for $14 bucks two potato sides for $3 a piece and 2 peach cobblers for $3 a piece.Those are some damn good ribs!
