I got the Thai milk tea with cream top and spicy popcorn chicken and they both tasted okay. My most concern was the Thai tea, it didn't taste like Thai milk tea at all, I don't know if the cream top messed with its flavor but it wasn't like the milk tea I get from any other boba spot like T4 or ShareTea. The milk tasted odd as well, almost like it was spoiled? The popcorn chicken was okay, but I did find a small hair in one of the pieces of chicken. Everything looked so good from the other reviews I've seen, but they were posted months or years ago, so I wonder if it's under new management? Big Bang Boba & Chicken is a solid spot for a quick bite and some delicious boba. I went during their happy hour (3-8pm), and they had an awesome deal--$1 fried chicken! You can't beat that for a snack. I ordered the strawberry banana milk drink, and it was absolutely amazing--creamy, sweet, and perfectly refreshing. I also got the takoyaki and fried chicken. While the chicken was super crunchy, I felt it could use a little more seasoning to really hit the spot. Same goes for the takoyaki--good but could be a bit more flavorful. I went at 5pm on a Friday. The place has plenty of seats and was empty. Clean tables and a bright interior with pop music in the background. I appreciated the clean tables, especially in a fried chicken spot which can be a messy finger food experience. The chicken is great. The same tier as Von's in my book. The meat is hot and juicy, with a crisp breading. The flavoring was a little lackluster and I wished they could be stronger. Thankfully, there's chili powder and salt and pepper shakes to top as needed, and the staff was happy to give us extra sauce. Please keep letting customers add more seasoning! It's a great perk and was fun to try different amounts on the chicken. There's another half to the place though! The boba! Boba is good with a large selection. Cute little spot You can order from a kiosk which is nice They have some unique sounding drinks, we went pretty classic and did an orange passion tea with strawberry boba and a cold brew boba. I was disappointed that the popping boba was kind of shriveled? Not fully like a raisin but not plump like they should be. The clerk told me that they use all fresh fruits, nothing canned. I like that, as I prefer healthier drinks made with fresh ingredients. I chose the mango matcha latte which had real chopped mango bits at the bottom. You can ask for less sugar, which I did. Most of the patrons I noticed were the younger set. I usually order from here on DoorDash and the drinks are just as good as getting them straight from the store. Crunchiest chicken, not too greasy. But, I really came here to say- get the mango coconut pudding. I normally don't care for pudding, but trust me on this. Get it, go home, put in the freezer and once it's frozen enough, stab it a few times to mix the mango and the coconut, then eat it. Life changing. You're welcome. Never going back again. Their chicken had horrible taste and when I break it was stringy and it didn't seem like real chicken. The look of it was different shapes and size so I fed it to my dog. Service was great, met Nikko an employee who gave a brief explanation what items to pick on the menu. They do have parking and bathrooms inside. Now onto the food and boba drinks, wings were on the spot. It was perfect, no too much dough or no less meat, it was a good wing! Korean wet classic isn't spicy, the sauce is what makes it good. Drinks are good and pricing is about average, if not a bit more decent than other places. My usual is the mango matcha with less sugar (though I'm not fully sure if they add sugar or if it's a pre-sweetened matcha as a lot of places buy. Hopefully it's unsweetened matcha but I'll have to check next time.) I tried the tteokbokki this time but it wasn't the best in comparison to other spots especially authentic korean spots. The sauce is very watery/not thick. I had like 4 ot 5 rice cakes but lots of fish cake strips. I would rather go to a korean restaurant and buy tteokbokki than here, even for that price. It's akin to the instant tteokbokki bowls that are extremely watery even with the instructed amount of water. Staff do not sit at the counter but you are directed to order from the computer which is okay. I can see a girl on her phone on the other side of the curtain so I'd question the cleanliness of their hands prior to making any food or drinks, personally. Tables were kinda clean. I was told that they definitely would still be accepting orders and I let them know i would be on my way. I actually arrived earlier than I said I would--at 7:51 PM--only to watch the employees rush to their cars and leave as they saw my car arrive. This is a complete lack of professionalism and respect for customers. If a business advertises that they're open until 8:00 PM, they should honor that or at least communicate if they plan to close early. Instead, they wasted my time and gas. My friend told me about this place and knows I love chicken and said "give this a try." Omg did this bring my appetite back in a good way. I highly recommend trying this chicken spot. I'm a big fan of sweet potato fries but I thought that was a very average order. They are located in a small plaza that may be easily missed with limited parking in front, but there was more parking off to the side. The ambience is nice - the inside is modern and sleek. I ordered the green tea with boba & salted cheese cream, their Sun Kissed (Strawberry Peach Lemonade), an order of popcorn chicken, and 2 cheese corn dogs. The drinks were not the best, as they were not that sweet - the green tea with cheese was a bit bitter and watery, while the lemonade was a bit sour/tart and it was not a good fruit combo/mix. I finally got to try their wings, and now is the perfect time to do so because they are having a $1 wing special to celebrate their 3rd anniversary (congratulations!). This special is in effect every day from 3 PM to 9 PM and there are just so many different great flavors to choose from. We decided to go for the 24 pieces, and we chose a total of 3 flavors: soy garlic, honey mustard, Szechuan chili. Let me startwith the texture: each wing was double-fried to perfection. The outside was very crispy, while the inside was very juicy still. Flavor-wise, each wing seemed to be seasoned in one way, but later on they added different flavoring sauces of our choice to the wings. And the seasoning base reminded me a lot of Chinese-style wings where the prominent flavor that came through wasChinese five spice. Were the wings delicious? Absolutely. But don't expect these wings to ooze Korean flavor, because I don't think their flavor is totally different from wings from Bonchon or other Korean wing chains. I prefer their dried wings over their wet wings, well that's only because I don't want to always get my hands dirty eating. I do wish that they had another side option for the drinks as all their drinks only come in one size which I guess could be seen as possibly beneficial for those who want to portion their Boba drinks. ($6.50 subtotal according to my receipt.. but says $5.75 online?) -cheese corn dog: 2/5 - big letdown, especially for $4. It's so small, half the size of your typical Korean corn dog. They don't have any condiments to accompany (mustard, ketchup, etc.). The only option is sugar, which ended up being unevenly coated and clumpy in areas. I went in and tried the drinks only. You order from the screen and you can only pay with card. The drinks are pretty expensive and there isn't the option to substitute the milk. You have to go with organic real milk! The Watermelon Lychee tasted like cold, blended watermelon. The Taro Freeze tasted heavily of milk. Boba is extra. The atmosphere is hip with the lit signs and they also provide a container of Clorox wipes if you want to wipe down the surfaces before you sit down. They don't have WiFi! read more

The chicken was crunchy and sweet with a mild kick at the end, and the drink was pretty refreshing but it was very seedy at the bottom. I would definitely order something else for my next visit. (Just a heads up a lot of their drinks do not contain boba). I also wish the fries were seasoned (I did find ketchup packets inside my to-go bag) but I ended up dipping my fries in the leftover sauce from the chicken. Newest boba spot in Concord and I'm so excited about this place! I've been here twice and the boba is consistently good. My favorite is their Strawberry Matcha Latte. The flavor is perfection and the sweetness is just right. I wouldn't adjust it. My family also tried the Chocolate Cookie Puff which was delicious, my daughter loved it. The Strawberry Latte was really good as well. Our least favorite was the Mango Dreamer. The flavor was just not there but the other drinks were great! I've also gotten food.
