I returned for an appointment to have it replaced and the same young lady that helped my on my 2 previous visits, provided the same excellent service once again. During my visit to replace the tire, I was on an immune suppressing drug prescribed by my doctor and the the young lady happily accommodated my needs by taking my credit card info and meeting me outside. Serious Safety Negligence - No Accountability…read more I took my car to Mr. Tire for brake service (the brakes are fine now, fortunately). During a routine six-month inspection at another shop, they discovered that a can of highly flammable brake cleaner had been left under my car, directly on top of the exhaust system. I was told that had it exploded (which it easily could have), I might not be here to write this review. I called Mr. Tire immediately, gave my name and number, and reported the issue. No one ever responded. No apology, no concern, no acknowledgment. This level of negligence is unacceptable. It's one thing to make a mistake, but quite another to ignore a customer who was nearly harmed by it. They replaced all four spark plugs, ignition coils, and a solenoid. The cost was over $1500. Four months later, my check engine light starts flashing and my car starts shaking on the highway. Immediately pull over and have to pay $200+ to tow it to my normal mechanic. When my mechanic took a look he immediately said that one of my ignition coils has gone bad because the person who recently replaced my spark plugs replaced them with cheap ones that aren't compatible with my vehicle. Due to this mistake, I am now out almost an extra $1000. My boyfriend went and spoke with the manager who was defensive and not helpful. Looks like I'll just stick to my normal mechanic from now on.

Witness the tire removal and test process. Don't trust their practices. The end result? Nearly $800 for two tires and an alignment, justified with statements like, "It's standard to do it, miss." That explanation came across as dismissive and condescending. It is difficult not to feel that women are being upsold or pressured into unnecessary services at this location. To make matters worse, one of my family members was sent away during a snowstorm with the remaining two tires underinflated. She then had to stop at Royal Farms down the street and pay to inflate them herself. That is unarcentable and uinsafe. My concern is simple: customers -- particularly women -- should not feel taken advantage of or pressured into expensive repairs without clear, transparent justification. If you choose to go here, I strongly recommend closely observing the work being done and asking detailed questions before approving additional services.
