I'm giving 5 stars based on my first visit. My 2nd visit alone, would have been 2 stars but I ended up going to another cleaners as I explain below. My first visit began with me calling them because the previous night I had inadvertently left a pen in my suit jacket pocket and it leaked on the fabric. Unlike another dry cleaner who spent the whole call telling me how they can't guarantee anything & how they're unsure if they can get out the stain - this cleaner told me immediately to soak the stain in water and bring it as soon as I can; he even added that if the stain doesn't come out; there will be no charge. I thought that was a nice touch as the suit has no use to me with a giant stain that can't be removed. Flash forward, they successfully removed the stain!! I was happy to pay full price (I would say they have higher than average prices here). Then, I called today to see if I could bring in like 10 dress shirts that have random stains on them - and what would be the price & if there is any discount if they can't remove the stain.....the answer was basically $5/shirt, no discount or guarantee, and kind of an explanation of how their process works. Such a stark contrast to the last experience. I may bring some of the shirts I like more here since I know at least they have some kind of strong process to remove stains - even though it may be a complete waste if they can't get the stains out; for some of the shirts it's worth it. I wish I could find a dry cleaners that would patiently explain how they try to remove the stain (for example, is it before you put it in the machine and what makes the person decide between laundering & dry cleaning if I make it staff's choice....) & bonus if they would stand behind their work if they can't remove a stain, offering some sort of discount. I have used this cleaner twice now, mostly because I live in the neighborhood, and I have been very pleased. The pricing is very reasonable, the man who works here is very kind and takes time to ask questions. I brought my wedding suit here after the ceremony and he did a great job of getting it back to new! read more

*** UPDATE: These people are stalkers. Received an email that I had a compliment. It was from this business, said "Whatever." And they thought my review was 'Funny.' I believe another Yelper experienced the same thing previously. If this is how they treat consumers, why would you trust your personal belongings to their care.... Awful experience. I called Saturday morning to confirm they do alterations. I was informed they do. I arrived shortly before closing and the guy asked if I was the person that called earlier; he then proceeded to tell me no one was there that could assist with alterations. When I expressed my concern that this should have been explained when I called earlier because now I've wasted time driving to this location, the guy told me to come back at 5:30pm (they close at 4pm). Excuse me? How do you know that I have the option to return today? He offered nothing for the inconvenience, miscommunication or my missed opportunity to go somewhere else that could help me today. Terrible service, terrible way to treat a potential new customer. I will not bring my business here and recommend you avoid them. read more

A few months ago Mr. Driss lost a silk shirt of mine. After months of me giving him more time to find it, he called to say he would replace it. I went down to the location to discuss him replacing it. He then told me that he didn't have to replace it because it was old. Buying it less than a year ago and wearing it once in a pandemic, I knew this not to be true and told him I would be back with a receipt. When I came back with printed receipt from an online order from Neiman Marcus for $230+ tax and shipping as well as a written letter for reimbursement, Mr. Driss told me that 1. Receipts are on carbon paper only. 2. That he would pay for a cleaning credit on one new shirt I bring to him. 3. His lawyer said he only has to reimburse me for %10 of the cleaning fee, about $3. I was never offered the $3, and I'm not sure why in my case the owner decided to not reimburse me like in the below negative review, but if it cost me $250 to spread the word that with $50-$75 more, you can sue and definitely get your money back, I can afford it. I didn't sue at the time because this guy turned into the devil before my eyes and I was scared off seeing him again. Every time I left his cleaners I was shaking from the interaction, and that was such a turnaround from when I was handing him money. All smiles at that time. Anyway, this guy's lawyer should know that the gotcha clause they have printed on the back of every receipt is an labeled an UNFAIR TERM in small claims, and you can always say you never saw it, like I didn't when I lost the original in my car immediately. S and L dry cleaners did not take reasonable care of my shirt, but the owner Mr. Driss hilariously told me several times that no one was wearing it. read more

My pants needed to be altered by shortening the length (short girl problems) and I was in no rush to get it done. I came in here for the first time and they are so polite and friendly! I had a pair of suit pants that I took to two different tailors that totally did not understand the fit and look I was looking for. I wanted a more tapered and slim fit that fits the modern trend and Kim did a great job! I also needed it to be done the next morning, and that was no issue for them. Kim's husband who works up front is extremely friendly and makes you feel confident your pieces will be done just like you want it. This company is full of lies and manipulation. I dropped clothes off to be altered and was promised the pants that were to be altered would be ready in two days. On Wednesday, September 27, I went to pick up my altered pants. I was told the pants had not arrived as their delivery truck broke down on the side of the road; however, I was promised they would be at the store by 7 P.M.. When I showed up to pick up my item at closing, I was told once again that they were not at the store, but the owner got my address and phone number and said he would deliver them to me by the end of the evening because the owners were aware I had to have the pants early the next morning as I was to leave Dallas by 6 a.m. for a work event. No one showed up at my house with my altered pants nor did the owner have the courage to call me to inform my about the state of my alteration. This morning I called as soon as they opened and was given no information about where my clothing was nor did the owner attempt to speak with me. At 10 a.m. I was finally contacted by one of the workers at S&L and was told that my pants were at Millennium Cleaners, sister store of S&L, in Lewisville. I immediately left for the store to get my item so I could leave town. I didn't receive an apology nor did I receive any form of discount for the entire situation. The owner hid in the back in embarrassment for the lying and manipulation. DO NOT USE S&L in Carrollton or the owners other store, MILLENNIUM off of Hebron Pkwy in Lewisville. The deception and audacity of the owners show the lack of customer service skills. The owners also run a sports bar on Belt line in Addison. I plan on informing all of my family and friends of the entire situation and let it be known around Carrollton of the owner's manipulation and deception. read more

Everyone was super friendly and I appreciated that! I had a week of interviews, and I brought my 2 dress PANTS (only!) in to get that nice anterior crease. I tried to do it at home but ended up with a double crease. Fail. So, I was able to do it here within ~10 min wait. However, it cost me $7.34 to press the TWO pants. No wash, just iron. I thought this was a little steep, but hey, when will I be interviewing again anytime soon? read more

The seamstress works miracles here!!!! I took a child's set of marine dress blues my son will wear for an upcoming wedding, (where he will match the groom who is in the marines), when I ordered them online they stated they were extra small size 2-4, when I got them they were at least 4-6 making them two sizes too big. I took them to three different places to get them altered and they all told me they couldn't do it. Until I finally brought them here and she told me she could make all the alterations no problems sure enough a week later I just picked them up and they fit my son perfect and look as if they were made exactly to his size. The owner took the time to understand my concern and then explained to me what they would do differently. She then suggested to me a better way to keep my shirts clean and looking like new. Super friendly, economical and the owner works miracles on alterations and repairs. I had 3 Silk Neck Ties that over the years had gotten put into the washing machine and ruined.
