The shop did well with what I brought them. I had heard that they were hard to get a hold of and took too long to finish a project. That review was soo wrong. My call was answered every time, the work was completed before they estimated and other than one small issue the service was excellent. I would recommend S and P to others looking for something local with decent people working hard to run a business. read more

SCAM ALERT! Warning to all, do NOT take your vehicles here unless you want to get scammed. These people are thieves with extremely dishonest business practices. We took in a bike in the summer and were quoted $800 for repair, half of which was paid upfront. After MONTHS of no communication and being given the runaround when we called for status updates, they finally decide to call (conveniently right before the holidays) to say it's done but it will cost double what they quoted, and they want the money right now or they will start charging storage fees. They provided NO written estimate, nor did they get consent to move forward with the work at this new exorbitant price. It seems that after months of doing nothing, they decided they wanted some extra holiday money so they were gonna jack up the price and try to get a nice little payday in time for Christmas. We will now have to pursue them in civil court to recoup the vehicle. It seems their quality has greatly diminished in recent years, as you can clearly see the decline in more recent reviews. Beware if you are looking for honest, ethical work, because you will not find that here. read more

My 2019 R6 caught a nail not far from the Main Street of Merced, on the day before New Years when all else was closed or unavailable, Paul was there and saved the day, going above and beyond to make sure that I was picked up, taken care of and ready to get back home safely. I called up S&P to get a quote on installing sum apes on my HD. They gave me a good deal and I decided to go with them even though they were 35 minutes away from my house. I couldn't have been more pleased with they're work, they were professional and talked me through everything they did and all the customizing they had to do because of the products I took weren't as simple as they should have been. I needed my bike back by the end of the day due to me being gone the next week and they delivered! Overall, I am completely satisfied and happy with their work and services. Skip & Paul told me they would reinstall my front brake line at no cost due to it being very long from the manufacturer but they tucked it away and you wouldn't even be able to tell if they didn't point it out. I had an appointment for an oil and filter change this morning. I was in and out in 1hr. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I don't know much about Motorcycle repairs or service so I appreciate their honesty. Price was lower then expected and more then fair. I drove ONE hour to the shop because I felt this was the right shop for Me. The shop was extremely clean and organized. My Wife also mentioned that the bathroom was immaculate.
