This roofing company was recommended to me by family. The initial interactions were great. They were responsive and took care of our roofing issues. Since then we've had another leak and now have a bubble. They had to come out numerous times to fix the first leak. Again, they were responsive, but we have called and emailed several times within the last few weeks with no response. This roof has been on less than a year! Save your money and go elsewhere. A 10 year warranty is only good if it is honored...otherwise it's completely meaningless. If I could give 0 stars I would. As an update, less than a week after posting this review I was contacted by Tony, who was very apologetic and started making arrangements for the repairs. The roof needs some additional work, but the drywall from the previous leak has been taken care of. Their drywall guy is amazing! Charlie came to our rescue when we were in the middle of adding a large addition to our home. The general contractor we hired had abandoned us, and his roofers created a lot of damage to the existing roof. Charlie was highly recommended by a dear friend & her husband after building several custom homes and using him as their roofer. Although we have used S&R in the past which was 5 stars, our current interaction or lack thereof doesn't even earn 1 star. We have called 4 times over the past 6 weeks with a promise from the receptionist a call back from Charlie in which we are still waiting. Because of the lack of response, we have contacted 4 other roofing companies. We had numerous companies come out and give us a quote. The prices were all over the map. We contacted Charlie from a referral by a friend of mine. I was not disappointed. Charlie came out, flew his drone over my house and handed me an ironclad estimate right there. Many of the contractors swore my roof tiles were no longer available and it would be impossible to match. Charlie smiled and said it would not be an issue, and it wasn't. The tiles were exactly what I had and his crew laced them in and I can't even tell which are which. He replaced over 100 tiles, all included in the original estimate. His crew is amazing. Not only did I get an immediate callback from Charlie, the owner, he actually came to check my roof that Sunday! My first experience with Charlie & crew was replacing an entire roof in a home in Mesa I was trying to sell. Their bid was fair, they worked fast and cleaned up every last bit of work. I recently moved to N. Scottsdale, and lost a few tiles in a monsoon last week. Called s & r roofing and spoke with Chuck. Explained to him that I had a roof leak and asked if he could assist me. He said sure and we set an appointment for the next day. He gave me a 3 hour window so I took off work that afternoon. Well, he was a no call/no show. I immediately called and left a message with his answering service for him to call me.
