It was quickly clear to me that Dale was an expert in the RV repair industry. Frankly, my experience over the years is that the bar is pretty low in the RV Repair industry in my area. Dale was very honest and open with his problem diagnosis and had no issue admitting a change of opinion once he dug into the repairs. His customer service was excellent and he did the work quickly. Dale is awesome!!! He installed a new ac unit and all new black plumbing for the black tank and even installed new gas lines for propane. I took my 1967 airstream back to him and also installed a new trailer tongue jack. He is super cool and they are super busy so you need to be patient with them but the work is top noche! Dale has been taking care of my RV's (and me) for almost 15 years. The most trustworthy person you will ever find in this industry (as another happy customer has said here.) Never any finagling, fair prices up front, which he holds himself to, always gets it right (in my experience). Another BIG plus is that he's willing to take time to give you his counsel on RV issues beyond the problem that brought you in there: how to sell, for instance, where to get work done on items that he doesn't cover himself (like diesel generators). Dale is great. Our fuel neck and bezel broke on our 2010 Roadtrek 190 Chevy RV. For over a month my husband called and went to mechanics and body shops trying to get it repaired. I was researching the internet and saw S&S in RIchmond and thought I would call. Dale knew exactly what happened , how to fix and had done so in the past. We sent him pictures , then took RV for him to see. He found a fuel door in his shop a few days later. We made the appointment and WALLA all was fixed perfectly. Dale and his crew and S & S RV (Richmond CA) are really great. Nothing stumps them and their repairs and installations are just great. I've been in 6 or 7 times over the last few years. First with my '89 Winnebago and more recently with our newer '08. Without any fuss, they fixed problems that other local shops just could not seem to manage. I am so pleased to have found them and I wouldn't take my Winne anywhere else. This last week they installed a FanTastic Fan for me. It was a tricky job and involved cutting a new hole in my roof (in a spot that would not impact any existing wiring or structure) and then running the wiring through the rooftop insulation to a power source. It came out perfectly. Dale even sent the first kit back and ordered an off-white trim ring that better matches the interior colors. It looks like a factory installation. Just perfect. This place was recommended to me by a friend who has been bringhing his RVs here for years for repairs, modifications and accessories. I brought a bent stabilizer bar to S&S a year ago and it was fixed in a jiffy and the price was right. This morning I dropped off a new fifth wheel trailer to have a better air vent/fan/cover installed and, as promised, the job was done RIGHT and for a great price. The finished project looked perfect, the installed unit operated perfectly and there was no mess from working in the kitchen area. The shop is busy and it is usually wise to make appointments a couple of weeks ahead of time but this is because they do great work. I will come back next time I need anything for the RV. read more

It is obvious that this company enjoys what they do. I had a small problem that needed fixing to pass smog. They go me in and out in less than an hour. The price was more than reasonable. I found S&S via a Google search and took my damaged tent trailer to them for an estimate a couple of weeks ago. It had been hit by a car and needed repairs to the front and back. If I could give 6 out of 5 stars I would! Dale is amazingly knowledgable and takes the time to explain things you might not know about your RV which is extremely helpful and kind. They offer fast, honest, and well priced service and he doesn't try to upsell you on anything you didn't come in for. I had a gasoline leak from a faulty regulator and they dropped the tank and fixed that, realigned my steering wheel which used to be bent far off to the left, and helped me figure out the problem with my surging generator and fixed it all in less than 24h.
