God, I miss that culture! We ordered a couple items from their well-rounded Menu. Both were delightful. I had a Mexican Omelette - the best I've had since 2018, when my local Diner in Lisle closed. Today's Omelette was HOT (temperature-wise), with some Jalapeños that themselves carried some (just right!) spiciness to 'em. The Staff was very pleasant, chatted with us a bit, and certainly made us feel welcomed. If you bring your own vegan butter, their toast and English muffin are options as well. Vegetarians do well at any breakfast diner. There are no Celiac/gluten-free options that are marked, however to my limited knowledge eggs and hashbrowns are safe (minus toast) I really try to do my best and include everyone of every dietary choice/need in my reviews.

The restaurant has one of those mechanical horses for the kids as well as a few toy machines, all which take cash--though they don't have a machine for changing cash. In the year 2026 I almost never have cash (this visit wasn't an exception) so I'd urge you to bring some quarters for a horse ride. Luckily my baby wasn't too disappointed that the horse didn't move; she seemed happy enough that she got to sit on it and hold the reins.
