We entered the store and did not receive a "Welcome in" or any type of greeting you would normally receive when entering a store as a paying customer. As we approached the counter we were met with an employee that was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. His attitude was relentlessly negative, and his behavior was clearly designed to obstruct the transaction rather than assist. As I began to fill out the background form, he took it upon himself to look up my address and it was determined that the address on my Driver's license would not satisfy the residential requirement on the background form, which I can easily have fixed with the DMV, however, he stopped the transaction and was extremely rude about it and was not helpful in explaining the process. When he was questioned about certain "store policies" he was making up during our conversation, he was unable to provide an answer, he was unhelpful and also refused to provide his or his superiors names when asked as well, we were told "we don't give out names here". We left the store with the intention to return the following day with the address correction documentation. The very next morning I received a call from the original dealer that Precision Armory was sending my merchandise back to them and the employee had made false allegations that we were attempting to make a straw transaction which has now damaged my reputation with the original dealer. There was absolutely no other explanation for this employee's behavior, other than he is racist and couldn't contain his disdain and hate for an African American man, it was evident all over his communication, expressions and demeanor, he couldn't hide it. Additionally, there are several other reviews from other customers citing similar discriminatory experiences with this store. I have made multiple attempts for the manager or owner to contact me directly, including a BBB complaint that has went ignored. I would not recommend this store, unless you support discrimination, racism and wickedness. There's so many other stores that will not treat their customers this way.

I had very limited amount of time on a gun before my first training day with PFC. I mean, I went to…read morea range a handful of times over the timespan of 11 years. I've done the CCW class, a fundamentals class a few times, and the Progressive Handgun 2-5 courses within maybe four months, and though I'm still new to it, I find myself being able to hold my own with a pistol among people that have had many years experience than me. That's not to say that I've been doing better or just as well, but for what I lack in experience, I'm gaining ground at a pretty rapid pace underneath these instructors. If your idea of range time is just standing in front of a target and plinking away, most of PFC's training is not for you. The introductory and CCW classes are a good gateway to the rest of the classes. There are classes that drill different exercises that include fighting positions, using barricades, movement under fire, low light, and handgun retention during engagements. If you come to these courses with an ego, it will be extra challenging because these courses and instructors are ever evolving, and you might be forced to challenge what you thought you already knew.

Reading some of the reviews is actually shocking. You need people who know the ins and outs of the law and are confident, skilled and educated, which they are. As for the products they are "selling," they are products that are needed. I can say that I'm extremely happy they told us about some of the things that as a responsible gun owner, I should be aware of! The class wasn't boring. I remember in my first CCW class I was bored and wanted to fall asleep. They kept me engaged and I was really loving listening to what they were teaching. I found the information very helpful and useful. One thing they mentioned is they will build a class around your needs/schedule if there is a good enough need, which is great to know. Going into this class, I really had no expectations, I figured I would listen to a bunch of boring laws concerning conceal carry, take a test and go to the range. It was so much more than that! Tracy and Alexandra were great instructors! They kept it light, but serious and informative. I liked that the class was small, I was able to ask questions, ask follow up questions and share stories without the feeling of being rushed or feeling stupid for asking questions. Tracy and Alex were tag team instructors with years of experience and they knew each other's strengths when it came to teaching certain parts of the class. After this class, I feel confident enough to open carry until I receive my CCW permit and then conceal once I get my CCW. Before this class, I was confused on what type holsters I wanted try, they showed us many different kinds of holsters and their opinions on which ones they preferred and why. Anna has completed a couple upgrades and fixed a couple non-working firearms. She is currently helping to bring back my dad's .22 (and my first rifle) after it was damaged and is replacing some missing parts. She has an impressive list of certifications, and also offers private, individualized classes or training. She will build you a customer gun as well. USCCA had a representative come in and explain the benefits of their services, including legal assistance and insurance. Coming from Chicago and being taught street smarts is something a lot of people don't understand. Kathleen and Mario we each have an RSO working with us out on the range. Every staff member worked well as a team. They cover Common mistakes to avoid and advise you to have a plan in place. We all have something valuable to share as far as our own personal experiences and the wrap up conversation with really appreciated we got to hear about everyone's experience and had an opportunity to discuss what we would like to learn going forward. I highly recommend their class. It was a full day and we left with more confidence as well as a book to review and keep for future reference. 8-5 full day, and they had everything set up and ready to go!
