    Mac salad and potato salad
    Austin J.

You want a proper pastrami sandwich?? Here it is. Excellent sandwich and the sides are equally as good! EVERYTHING IS HOUSE MADE. One of the better pastrami sandwiches I've had and by far the best Mac and potato salad I've tried. Their menu is incredible with something everyone will like! The service is quick and attentive and it is a very relaxing place to grab a bite to eat. Very nice staff, very clean restaurant, and very good food.

We still like Saati Deli but every single time we order take out for pickup they leave something out! This time it was the macaroni salad that came with my Turkey Reuben. I know they figure that into the price and it's really annoying. The Reuben was very good and so were my families sandwiches but I would like what we pay for! I will only order in person from now on and check each order.

Excellent food and plant-based options are available! We ordered the vegetable hummus bowl (no egg) which is topped with delicious roasted vegetables and plenty of hummus and pita bread wedges. The cauliflower wrap was good but next time I will try something else. Something about the seasoning just wasn't for me. The French fries were good and my nephew enjoyed the monster burger topped with bacon and mozzarella sticks this burger lives up to its name on calories alone. Saati offers a full delicatessen experience with premade items, salads, cured meats, soups, sandwiches made to order as well as grill items. Some of the desserts looked delicious but sadly none were vegan. Saati Is a great place for lunch on the go, dining in, or order for pick up. They are good for large crowds of you need to order for the office. Located in Newton Plaza they are conveniently located between Latham and Sienna College. Check out Saati today!

I didn't like the pink stuff all over my sandwich

I ordered a roast beef sandwich and forgot to tell them that I would like my roast beef fully cooked. The service was not as friendly as they should be. The front guy forgot to tell me I should perhaps get a drink too. *Their soups don't travel well. If they pack it for you to bring it to your family. You should repack it really well again. Mine spilled all over the bag. Not my style place. Seems to be a popular all Italian spot. I would suggest you try for yourself.

Hummus bowl with falafel and roasted peppers

I had an opportunity recently you try something as part of a massive group order by my workplace, with the maximum order allowance of $15. The menu seemed to have a Greek flavour to it although it was ultimately broad, including lox bagel and pastrami sandwich. I went for a hummus bowl with an add-on roasted peppers and eggplant, which came with pita bread and falafel. The eggplant and peppers were juicy and I needed that, because the bowl was on the whole otherwise was on the dry side. The pita bread was partially burnt so I ate about half of it. With the expectation that some steam got lost due to the delay between cooking and consumption, it was a reasonable meal all in all, although I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to seek them out on my own.

Food is homemade, menu is expansive. But the prices are prohibitive. Over $22 for a sandwich and small soup.

I've been coming to 76 Diner for years, going back to my college days, and while I don't get over to that part of Latham as often anymore, I still make it a point to stop in a few times each year. I will say a while ago they changed their menus. I used to enjoy the older version with some information about the presidents of the United States. Probably silly of me but I enjoyed reading that and it went along with the '76 name. I'd like to see something similar to that come back on future menus. It's a large place, so there's rarely much of a wait, if any, and the parking lot is big enough that finding a spot is never an issue. On this visit, we were seated quickly, greeted promptly, and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Any time I've been here it's always nice and clean. This time was no exception. Any time I've been in the restroom, it has always been clean as well. The service stood out, our waitress checked in several times to make sure everything was good and see if we needed anything else without being overbearing. Everything we ordered tasted great, and the desserts were just as good. This has been a reliable spot for me for a long time, and this visit was no different. 5 stars

Inside is actually larger than expected, with a certain mid-century charm. Service was quick and unobtrusive. I had never actually eaten here until a recent weekend when I met a friend for breakfast. The menu is positively huge, and it was hard to narrow down my choice, but I went with the western omelette, which comes with potatoes and toast. I wish I could've switched the toast to an English muffin, and the potatoes were really not that flavorful and kind of dry. I would have preferred hashbrowns. I only ate half the omelette. It was kind of dry; no cheese, just ham, peppers, and onions. Am I glad I ate here? I guess so. But will I eat here again? Probably not.

What a beautiful restaurant!…read more Did you ever have a long day and want to drink a big glass of red wine with dinner? The Scarlet Knife put a check in all the boxes. I walked in with no reservations. I noticed the space is very large with multiple dining rooms. I'm tired, I asked for a table close to the open kitchen. Once seated, I'm given a large, leather menu. There are lots of great entree choices but after I review all the selections, I'm going with the SK Bistro Burger. The entree also has a wine pairing suggestion, a Cabernet Sauvignon. It's like they read my mind, I'm sold! I'm starting to read about the restaurant, they have a large wine cellar and was recognized by Wine Spectator with an award for excellence. My bistro burger arrives, I can see this is a well crafted burger. From the pretzel bun to the thick burger patty, Scarlet Knife served me a great meal that I would typically order at The Capital Grill. My only issue, the onion straws were cold. I scraped them off and continued with my meal. I'm just passing thru town, Scarlet Knife was a fantastic spot to dine and have a generous pour of award winning Cabernet Sauvignon.

We arrived early and were seated promptly; water was poured before we even had napkins on laps. This surprised me, as reviews indicated that service could be slow and this was a holiday. But this started a constant service of someone checking in on us every 2-3 minutes (I am prone to exaggeration for a good story, but I assure you this was true. I kept checking my watch to confirm). We put in an appetizer order (deviled eggs) that was served within a minute or two. These were well seasoned and tasty, ice cold from the refrigerator. It's not that they didn't taste fresh, but they were served to us so quickly that I know that they were prepared well in advance and only the warm pork belly was recently prepped. Our meals were served as the appetizer was finished (I was still chewing). At this point, we were 10 minutes into our seating. Our meals included steak and eggs, which I incorrectly assumed would require a little bit more time. Not true! Our plates arrived, piping hot and tasty enough...but boy did we feel rushed. Our server, the manager, bussers, and other attendants stopped by our table every few minutes. I recognize this was a holiday, but there was not a steady stream of people coming through the doors and plenty of open tables were available. Our conversation was repeatedly interrupted with these check-ins and we all took great care to eat the meal as slowly as possibly to stretch things out. At this point we were on track to be out the door in 30 minutes. As a table we made a decision to order dessert and we were able to savor and dawdle long enough to get us to one hour. $180 later, we finished our Easter visit out in the parking lot where no one was pushing us out. (I will note that several families arrived after us and completed their meals in 30ish minutes. What's special about brunch when it's that rushed?) I wish I could review the food better, but my taste buds hardly had time to register the experience. Entrees were hot but clearly prepared well in advance and kept at the ready under heat lamps or in warming ovens. The dessert was cold and sweet as appropriate, but had that prepped yesterday feel to it. This is not what I expect from a restaurant that markets itself as a fresh farm to table establishment. I don't quite regret going to Scarlet Knife, but there are enough quality restaurants in the greater area that I probably won't return.
