    Burger with fries

The food was more like a 3.5. Definitely not a 3, but not quite a 4. Please read on. We met friends here for dinner and it was an overall pleasant experience. It was prime rib night, which was a plus for one person in our party. However, it was VERY TOUGH and not very flavorful. He enjoyed the potato more than the prime rib. The chicken parm looked delicious and my friend really liked it. It was a large portion and she took half of it home. Penne à la vodka with chicken was another dish ordered and enjoyed! Also a large portion with leftovers! I ordered the burger with a GF bun. The meat was okay. It was cooked perfectly and was juicy, but didn't really have much flavor at all, unfortunately. I was hoping they'd use meat from the butcher shop right next door, but I definitely don't think that was the case! :-) However, the fries were quite tasty - perfectly cooked and salted! Service was friendly. But, the prime rib was served without a steak knife and I am not sure one was ever received. P.S. This is the second time in about 4 years that we've gone. The prime rib was not good the first time either, but he wanted to give it another chance. He won't be doing that again! We may or may not go back in the future to try other meals!

Cute atmosphere, great service (our server Carol was awesome) and food was all very good. We started with cocktails-seasonal sangria and an old fashioned. The stuffed mushroom app was really good with sausage and red peppers in seasoned breadcrumbs. We shared a roasted root vegetable sales which was huge. Plenty of roasted veggies, walnuts and crumbled blue cheese was a great honey tumeric dressing. Entrees of steak frites (with chimmichuri and parm truffle fries) was very good as was the baked seafood casserole. Too full for dessert.

Simple restaurant that open late. The food came out fast. Easy to find, and available without reservations. The crab appetizer is fresh and tasty.

Awesome! The food is sooo good and it is kid friendly. The restaurant is very spacious, service was good and our family had such a great time! I am very impressed with the quality of their food and the taste of it, it is extremely good! Will definitely come back again! Recommended!

Cozy and spacious atmosphere, excellent menus, attentive staff. The lunch and dinner menus have so many great options it's hard to choose. I recommend looking at the menu online if you want to really consider your options. Signature and seasonal cocktails are made with quality fresh ingredients, and the bartenders are delightful.

Another time at Emma Jayne's and the food was delicious! It's always consistent, served well and a pleasant experience. We ate with friends (they had scallops scampi and crab stuffed haddock) who also enjoyed their meals.

I was finally able to try Emma Jayne's after hearing many great things about it and I'm sure glad that I did. With that being said, I started things with off the fried mozzarella and it was absolutely delicious. To explain, the breading was crunchy and tasted homemade. In addition, the cheese was very fresh and had the perfect amount of pull. To be honest, it was one of the best fried mozzarella's I've ever had. After that, I decided to order the lobster pot pie for my dinner. Knowing that, it was very good. To put into words, the crust of the pot pie was flaky with great flavor. Furthermore, the pot pie was loaded with lobster, shrimp, and scallops. All of these tasted fresh and tender. My only complaint about the dish was that the cream filling had a bit of a weird aftertaste, but it was still tasty. To finish, Emma Jayne's is a great restaurant and I highly recommend the fried mozzarella.

I tried Emma Jayne's for lunch, and was not disappointed. The ambiance walking in was festive and inviting. I was warmly greeted as I noticed how packed they were on a weekday. To me, it's always a good sign when I see lotsa diners. They have a nice menu selection that includes starters, soups, salads, entrees and sandwiches. Their portion size is generous and I only ate half so that I would have room for dessert. We had a prime rib Reuben and eggplant burger, delish! For dessert I ordered a slice of churro cake but unfortunately they were all out. In its place I had a nice Italian lemon cake and it was very good. I will have to return soon, for lunch or dinner cause it was very enjoyable. Hopefully I will get to sample their churro cake on my next visit. My recommendation is that you make a reservation here. Although they are a good sized establishment, they are very busy!

I was ready to back to this restaurant before I was even done with my meal. All of the food was fantastic and the portions for the price were so much better than a lot of restaurants these days. It's huge inside with also a big patio space outside. The atmosphere is casual fine dining. It's perfect for a date night but also good for families . Everything ordered was delicious and would order again!

We had dinner here as suggested by our niece. Food was good. The atmosphere was hopping! They had a person entertaining in the front by the bar. But we sat in the back. Our server was helpful and courteous too. Had to try the crispy balls that reminded me of arancini except it is made of pasta inside because it was a ma&cheese served on a chopped lettuce. Then we had the braised short ribs which was very tender, the aged pork chops either peaches and a short rib sandwich. All with very big portions. For dessert we share one - the lemon cake.

Was looking for a new place to try for date night. Saw this has 4 stars, made a reservation online for 6pm Saturday night. GPS guided us, just off the main road where we saw the only light on the side of the road (it was their sign on the building), with their own parking lot, which was very full and also very very dark. Walked into an open floor area, the one side is booths and tables, the other is the bar with high top chairs. Checked in at the hostess stand and were seated right away. Took the waiter at least 10 minutes to come over. Which we had never been there so it gave us time to over look the menu but in my opinion was too long of a wait to just get acknowledged. By the time he came we were ready to order drinks, apps and dinner. Once ordered the drinks and apps showed up in a responsible time. The food was lacking, the sauce for the short rib had okay flavor but the veggies were very very plain, no salt or pepper or even butter. The pumpkin spice polenta in my opinion ruined the whole dish. It was too much flavor on the plate, wasn't served warm or with any butter, should have been served with mashed potatoes or wedges just would have been better with the dish. Everything was very bland and plain. We never received any bread which I noticed after our meals were already packed up Togo. Left a disappointed in the meal to say the least. It took the waiter awhile once we had our meals packed up to deliver the check and then cash us out. Most likely to not return nor recommend.

Similarly, the garlic mayo was excellent and it helped elevate the burger. In addition, the bun was fresh and enjoyable. My only problem with the burger was that the caramelized onions were undercooked. However, the burger was still very good. In like manner, the fries were pretty tasty as well. To enlighten, the fries were hot, crispy, and salted well. As a final point, The Exchange is a good restaurant with solid burgers and fries.

The siracha mayo gave the tacos just the right amount of spice, and don't let it fool you being listed on the appetizers menu, because it is a whole meal in itself. The steak frites special sounded amazing but no one in our party ordered it, but they do have specials. Sweet potato fries were a little soft, not quite crispy.

We had a reservation at 6pm and felt invisible when we walked in, just to be seated in a table 5 feet away. Maybe they were understaffed, but friendly staff could have gone a long way here. We started with cocktails and they were all good. We didn't really have opportunities to order more, so I only tried one. We started with the Fried Burrata and Caesar salad. The fried buratta was delicious but not enough bread, or a spoon served with it so most of the sauce went to waste. We loved the pesto on the dish. The Caesar salad was extremely underdressed and under seasoned. None of us enjoyed it. We then ordered entrees, I got the flat iron and they ordered the carbonara and the burger. The flat iron was ordered rare, and served blue. The steak and sauce on it was cold. I didn't complain because I didn't want to try and call her over, they did not check on us after the food was delivered. The sauce on it was okay but I think it took away from the flavor of the meat, very strong cumin and chili flavor, a little gritty. The fries were good and the broccolini was mushy and overcooked. The carbonara was also a miss, it was overly peppered and unpleasant to eat. This dish was ultimately sent back and we explained it was overly peppered and inedible, and she ordered something else. My friend who ordered the burger really enjoyed it and it looked great. The server was not accommodating at all and barely checked on us. We sent food back and the server just threw it away without a thought in the world, and it remained on the bill. At this point we just wanted to pay and leave. Bad service can ruin a night, and it put a damper on our girls night out. My photos came out impeccable, unfortunately most of it looked better than it tasted. This was the second occasion of my being invited by someone who was celebrating their birthday there. I'm not a big fan of chicken wings so I also don't consider myself a connoisseur. On this visit there were nine of us celebrating the birthday boy's 65th. I figured I was entitled to seven wings from the six different flavors that were ordered. I was satisfied after tasting just one from each flavor. All the wings were very crispy and the flats were a bit moister than the drums. In fact, my least favorite was a parmesan garlic drumstick. It came with no sauce, so it seemed extra dry. Treating the wings as my appetizer, I ordered The Heater from their Specialty Sandwiches and substituted sweet potato fries for regular fries. Served in a toasted hoagie were shaved Italian steak, sauteed peppers, onions, jalapeños, queso cheese, and melted pepper jack. My first thought was that the hoagie was going to be too massive and too much bread. But to my surprise, the bread was so fresh and soft that it easily compressed around the filling allowing the filling to be the star of each bite. The steak was tender and flavorful, there was not too much spiciness from the various peppers, and there was plenty of moisture. The sandwich was served while still very hot as were the sweet potato fries. Wings and sandwich, all went well with my pint of Guinness. They do not take reservations and will not seat your party until all members of your party are present. They will add you to the waiting list before all of your party is present. Once we were added to the waitlist it was thirty minutes before the rest of our party arrived due to traffic delays. It was then another thirty minutes before we were seated. I'm not going to reduce my # of *s because we really enjoyed our food and beverages. But I do have to question what I had to drink. The board said it was an Ommegang Grande Tripel stout at 5.5 ABV ($9). That level of ABV would be reasonable for a stout, but the color of the brew was golden like a typical Tripel, and not dark like the typical Stout. The bartender gave us a sample, and it was full of flavor with my wife noticing the vanilla tones that were described by the bartender. I didn't initially identify any specific flavor other than delicious and different than I would have expected from a stout. I also would not take issue with the posted 5.5 ABV. HOWEVER, a quick reference to Ommegang online as I write this says that it is a Belgium Tripel and the ABV is 9. Yes, NINE ABV! I would definitely have noticed if I were drinking a 9 ABV on an empty stomach. I also would have noticed it driving the car after finishing a pint within one hour. For those familiar with Utah Phillips, "It was good though!" But on to the food. We ordered a shareable Tot-Chos ($12.99) consisting of tater tots, tomatoes, avocado, cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle aioli. These were very tasty and not too spicy, with crispy on the outside and soft on the inside tots. My wife ordered the Sooo Cali ($10.99) hot dog. The black angus beef hot dog is very tasty even before it is topped with wild arugula, tomato, avocado, crispy onion strings, and spicy basil aioli. The combined flavors work well together on the Kings Hawaiian rolls. My choice was to try the Hogfather ($10.99) - a pork bratwurst with bacon chipotle onion jam, chipotle aioli, and miso ranch. The bratwurst was delicious and again, the flavors worked well together. BTW, my wife had a Grimm Nothing But Citra ($8), an IPA that even I found acceptable. We really need to return here more frequently.

I've been to Innovo Kitchen in Latham several times over the years and I've enjoyed it every time. They have a unique menu that changes periodically, but I always find something that catches my eye. The interior has an industrial feel which I like, with a lot of exposed brick. The tables are made from old bowling lane wood, which is a really cool touch. When you walk in there is also a bowling pin displayed in a glass case. I remember there being a bowling alley somewhere in that plaza when I was a kid, so it seems likely the building has some history tied to that. The tables are also nice and large, which makes the dining experience more comfortable. Tonight I ordered the Monte Cristo burger which is described as battered Buckley's Bread sourdough, a 6 oz special grind burger, Taylor pork roll, Swiss, and Twin Leaf Farms maple aioli. It was quite tasty and I really enjoyed the hint of maple syrup flavor on the burger. The crinkle cut fries that came with it were also very good. Another person in our party ordered the White Chicken Parmesan, described as a crisp chicken cutlet topped with ricotta and garlic spinach and fresh mozzarella, with garlic parmesan cream and lumache pasta. They said it was delicious. Someone else had the Crispy Skin Salmon and enjoyed that as well. A child at our table ordered macaroni with red sauce. The portion was surprisingly large and they liked it, which is impressive because they are particularly finicky. For dessert we ordered something we've had here several times before, the peanut butter mud pie. It's basically ice cream in pie form with an Oreo cookie crust and chocolate fudge. It's very tasty and also a generous portion. At the end of your meal they also offer everyone at the table a tasty piece of gourmet chocolate. One thing that really stood out tonight was the attentiveness of the management. Two different managers stopped by our table at different times to check and make sure everything was good. I recognized one of them because I've seen him there before and he always seems to make a point of checking in with guests. The other person had seated us so I initially thought she was the hostess, but after she stopped by during the meal I asked if she was a manager and she confirmed that she was. I mentioned that I was impressed that two different managers had checked on us, and that every time I've dined there a manager has stopped by to make sure everything was good. I thanked her and told her it was appreciated. During the summer and fall they also have a very nice patio area for outdoor dining. On cooler nights they have heaters and a fireplace which makes it a great place to sit outside. I will definitely return here again in the future. 5 stars

After checking Yelp for suggestions, Crescent Wrench popped up as a suggestion. A short time later we arrived at the Wrench. Upon entering the Barmaid/Waitress greeted us with a warm hello. We took a table and were immediately asked what beverage we wanted. We each found something off the menu that sounded good. I ordered the hot Italian Combo which came with fries. My wife had the hamburger quesadilla and she loved it. Both were hot and very good. The Tavern isn't huge, but it is cozy and this is what I'd call a Home Town Tavern.

This restaurant housed Pam's pub and was probably taken on by new management in the last year or so. Overall the place is a perfect place if you like to watch football. The place was packed with football enthusiasts watching the game, drinking beer, refilling popcorn and screaming as their team scores or messes up. This is a true American joint with typical American food. Wings were decent, quesadilla, macaroni salad and fries were great. I'm yet to eat the wrap as I was stuffed and had to bring it home. Overall a great place that's tucked away in a strip mall. Most of the seating is on bar stools with swivel chairs that actually gets you a better view of different games.
