When I've taken my car to other auto shops before, I can say I've never felt I had an honest experience with any of them. Right away, Dennis was straight forward and detailed with me after a careful inspection. I appreciated that he took time, and was genuine when answering my qu estions, and helping on such short notice. Once He took time to explain parts being ordered and time frame it'd take, he started right away. I brought my car in on a Thursday, and no joke, come Monday morning, he's calling me letting me know it's ready. Upon arrival, immediately he showed me everything that was done, including showing me the warn out/corroded parts he replaced, did some additional "fixes" at no cost (front light, rotate tires that previously put on wrong, etc). He also suggested a few recommendations that were super helpful. I felt that he priced everything at a great, more than fair price for sure. Dennis made the whole process easy-peasy, and he was both very time efficient and thorough with the work on my car. Its dang near impossible to find real honest, decent, mechanics anywhere anymore, and by the grace of God, and a friends recommendation, I found one! Brake job so far is doing well. No noise, no brake pedal vibrations. Parts were OEM pads and rotors. I brought it here because they had good pricing! And obviously quality work too! On April 21, 2025, I took my car to Auto Stop because it was leaking oil. I had been using them for…read moreoil changes and had always been happy with that service, so I trusted them with this repair. They diagnosed the source of the oil leak, and because I have an extended warranty, I went through the warranty process and authorized the repair. Their labor rates exceeded what my warranty would cover, so I paid the difference out of pocket. Unfortunately, this is where my experience went downhill. After the repair, my car continued leaking oil for more than a year. I brought it back multiple times, and each visit resulted in another attempt to fix the problem, usually by adding more gaskets. It became clear that they were taking shortcuts rather than properly diagnosing and repairing the issue. At one point, I discovered they had even stuffed rags around the oil pan. After several unsuccessful repair attempts, Auto Stop finally admitted they could not fix the problem. To make matters worse, during the course of their repeated repair attempts, they damaged the upper oil pan. Their only recommendation at that point was to take the vehicle to the dealership. That's exactly what I had to do. The dealership corrected the original oil leak and repaired the additional damage caused during Auto Stop's failed repair attempts, leaving me to pay for work that could have been avoided. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Auto Stop. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into more than a year of frustration, repeated trips back to the shop, additional damage to my vehicle, and significant extra expense.

I then received a message from Ramon that he was able to apply some discounts and it went down to $353.65. Green flag#2- I ended up having a family member replace my battery, so I messaged Ramon to cancel my appointment. He reminded me of the engine air filter that I needed replacing-I totally forgot about it! So I kept my appointment. Green flag#3- When I arrived, I was greeted by Ramon. What I thought would take at least 30-45min (they were busy) he went out himself and replaced the filter in less than 5min! Not only that he did it free of charge!! God bless him.
