They informed me that I needed new rear air shock and quoted me a replacement cost of $1,141.06 (shocks and labor). I asked if I could supply the shocks so I could save some money but they said "no" - that they don't allow customers to supply their own parts (remember - repair shops mark up the prices on part big time). So, rather than paying $917.58 from Integrity for the shocks, I went on EBAY and bought after market replacement shocks for $120.00. I went to Atkins and Bob Motors and told them what I was doing. They were happy to install the new shocks for me and quoted me about $150.00 for the install. I made an appointment for the next day at 10 am. Within a few minutes they had compared my after market shock to the OEM shocks on the vehicle and said that they would work. Within an hour my car was ready and the new rear air shocks were working beautifully - and - They charged me below the quoted price. I was very happy with the service and tipped the mechanic who worked on my car. During my wait while the car was being worked on, I enjoyed my conversation with the two service writers in the store. Real nice guys! I should mention. I am a retired ASE Master Technician and I know a good and fair repair job when I see one. These guys were good and fair and I recommend them highly!

They did this six times I believe in 45 minutes It was time to pay and leave my jacks would not go up. 2 hours later after reading the manual adding hydraulic fuel by the owner and workers of the shop I was able to drive the RV home with my tires. Can I say not one time did they mentioned that they were supposed to close at 4pm. Not one time did they act unprofessional to me. They exceeded my expectation of compassion and grace. I am 54 yrs old served 28 yrs in the Army currently 2 1/2 years in public safety. I can count on my hands the 5 star service I have received in my lifetime. There is only one way to install this adjustable track bar. I cross referenced this with the 5 various YouTube videos of people installing this track bar on their Jeep. I get a call: "You installed your track bar? Well first of all it's installed upside down and backwards, and all the threads are ruined." The person was so incorrect I didn't even bother showing him the diagram of how it was installed correctly. I just came and got the keys and left. I re-referenced the manufacturer instructions and it is installed correctly. There is only one way for it to fit regardless. I just needed an alignment, but nope, they wouldn't do it. Go elsewhere. They told me I had to bring my car in to get a quote, so I drove over. Once there, they took my key and told me it would take a couple of days to diagnose the issue. I emphasized very clearly that I only wanted to know the price and didn't want any service done without my approval. I'm not a native English speaker, so I even double-checked with them to make sure they wouldn't charge me before telling me the price. They said "okay." Then, they called me back and told me I needed to replace the entire brake system -- which would cost over $1,000. That's also the first time they mentioned the $155 diagnostic fee. I refused the repair immediately and asked to pick up my car. They still charged me the full $155. Later, I went to Mavis for a second opinion. They did a brake inspection for free, and told me my brakes are only 50% worn and do NOT need to be replaced. Worse still, the shop didn't even check the engine light, which I had asked about. They said that would be an additional $150. So what did I pay $155 for? Only a brake and underbody panel check -- and a sales pitch for an unnecessary repair? When I asked why they didn't mention the diagnostic fee up front, they claimed they told me -- but I'm 100% sure they didn't mention it when I dropped off the car. They only brought it up after they'd already done the inspection and tried to sell me an overpriced repair. At that point, I had no choice but to pay. Summary: * $155 charge for a basic inspection I didn't approve * No written quote given * No engine light check done * Second shop confirmed no repairs were needed * Poor communication, zero responsibility, and no apology This was not a "diagnostic scan."
